What to expect
Step into a charming home and garden for an authentic Portuguese cooking class. The charismatic and friendly host, Zè, is eager to share the knowledge and secrets behind his favourite Portuguese dishes. The experience begins with appetisers, selected Portuguese delicacies and drinks. This is a great opportunity to introduce yourself, learn about Portugal, its cuisine, and the three recipes you'll be preparing. Once introductions are over, it's time to head to the kitchen. You'll prepare three recipes simultaneously. The first two are traditional hot starters, which you'll finish off before returning to the table. It's then time to savour these starters you've just created, all while continuing the conversation. Next up is the main course - cod fish, unless you have a different preference. With all the preparations already in place, it will be quick to cook and plate your main dish. Then, it's back to the table to relish it. You might even be joined by Priscilla, Zé's partner. Finally, after all your hard work in the kitchen, it's time to unwind. You've done a splendid job with the cooking, so now let the host take care of dessert.Enjoy this moment of relaxation as you round off your culinary adventure with a sweet treat.
