You'll head toward the river from the inner Eastside shop into an industrial neighborhood rich with food and art, exploring the past and the present of Portland's craft brewing culture.Portland was a leader in the craft beer industry and boasts more breweries than any city; whatever beer you love (sour? Craft barrel-aging? Belgian? Wit? Imperial IPA? Fresh hops, dry hops, no hops?), there's certainly a brewery that made its name in that style. All of these thrive in this neighborhood.The tour in total is 2-3 miles (4-5 km) of walking, with just enough beer tasting so you'll know which stop you'd like to return to.
