Your friendly, English-speaking guide will meet you right in the heart of Rome and whisk you away for an escape from the city’s buzz.Your first stop is Pompeii. Skip the queues and step straight into the ancient Roman world. Wander through the villas, bathhouses, restaurants and theatres frozen in time by the volcanic eruption, as your guide brings it all to life with their insights and stories.After some free time to grab lunch and snap a few photos, you’ll cruise along the Amalfi Coast – think winding cliffside roads, pastel-coloured villages and endless sea views. You’ll stop in Positano, home to postcard-worthy views and a laidback, Mediterranean vibe. Here, you’ll have time to dip into boutique shops, take in the vistas, and savour some limoncello – a local speciality.

Infants travelling free of charge do not have a reserved seat on the bus
Service dogs are allowed on the bus for this tour only with valid documentation and subject to approval by the local partner
Late arrivals can't be accommodated and missed tours aren't refundable
The local partner may refuse participation to guests under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or to anyone whose behaviour is disruptive or poses a risk to others
The local partner isn't responsible for personal belongings lost or stolen on the coach during or after the tour, and any shipping costs for returning lost items aren't covered

Comfortable shoes, as the tour involves a fair amount of walking

Meet your guide in the centre of Piazza del Popolo, by the large fountain with the lions and the obelisk. The nearest metro stop is Flaminio, Line A. Your guide will be wearing a blue City Wonders polo shirt or jacket. Please arrive 20 minutes before the scheduled start time to check in. This tour ends at Piazza del Popolo.

Our guide Chiara and our driver were both great. We felt very safe on the bus and chiara was a great host. But the trip to Positano was not at all what we expected. We were hoping to visit the beach but when we arrived it was all private beaches which were charging €45 per person to go onto the sand. It was extremely busy too. I would not recommend at all if you are even slightly non able bodies. Pompeii was excellent.

Het bezoek aan de plaatsen is fantastisch, de informatie die je erbij krijgt ook. Echter mag er gewaarschuwd worden dat je meer dan de helft van de tijd(van 8.30 tot 21 uur ) in de bus zit. Ik persoonlijk zou aanbevelen om gewoon op vakantie te gaan in die regio want je kan er zwemmen, shoppen, lekker eten en een stuk geschiedenis aanschouwen.

Our guide for the day was Francesca and she was brilliant. She had a lot of knowledge and recommendations for places to go on the trip and also in Rome. However, I do wish we could of had more time in Positano but it was an all round fantastic trip.

We both enjoyed the whole experience, it was an amazing insight into southern Italy. Just one minor complaint, on our confirmation email it stated we were being dropped off the other side of Rome to where we were picked up from. Having booked a taxi to meet us, we were told during the tour that we would be dropped off at the pickup point. Luckily we managed to cancel the taxi.

A must do excursion when in Rome. The tour was a long day, which we were prepared for. However, the guided tour of Pompeii was too short with no free time to further explore. Amalfi Coast and Positano again is a must but the trip is literally a taster trip. The journey along the Amalfi Coast is an experience not to miss and our coach driver Andrea was amazing, navigating the twisty & bendy roads. Our tour guide Erika was excellent, welcoming, knowledgeable and very passionate in her delivery.

Very long day but we knew it would be Great guide who knew his history in pompeii The down side the group was too big and by the time we stopped to look at what he was explaining he had started explaining another site so we were always playing catch up

Our guide, Peter, was amazing and funny guy. Pompei and Positano were better than expected, too bad it was cloudy and we did not see the peak of the Vesuvius and other surrounding mountains but nevertheless the trip was something to remember for the rest of my life

I booked this experience because it was supposed to be a limited number in the group there was around 30ish so when we got to Pompeii we should of split into 2 groups but the guide on the bus decided that we should go in one big group which I wasn’t happy about the guide was lovely in Pompeii but his Italian accent sometimes was really strong and hard to follow what he was saying we got around 45 mins in Pasitano to have a wonder around overall good trip but disappointed with the large group

De gids bij pompeij(dus niet die vd bus want die waren prima) zat flauwe grappen te maken, liet de verkeerde highlights zien, bleef te lang stil staan bij niet boeiende feitjes en daardoor heb ik bepaalde delen niet gezien. This was such a great experience! Our fantastic tour guide Gabriel made the day even more interesting and enjoyable. While it may have been nice to see more of Pompeii, it was understandable that unavoidable traffic delayed us a little.

Onze tour begon vroeg, rond 07:00 uur, dat was geen probleem, want anders hadden wij nooit binnen één dag deze plaatsen kunnen bezichtigen. Onze gids was erg enthousiast en wist heel erg veel over Rome, Pompeii, de Amalfi kust en Positano. In Pompeii kregen wij in een kleinschalige groep een goede rondleiding door een andere gids die humor had en ook veel wist. Wij vinden het zeker een aanrader. Op de TUI site staat de de tour stopt op station Termini, maar stopt op zelde punt als waar het begon

I enjoyed the visit to Pompeii. The tour guide Emiliano was fantastic! The trip to Positano was rushed and a bit stressful as we had to change from the coach to a shuttle bus and it was a faff.

The day was explained to us as soon as we set off on this long coach trip to Pompeii. Our guide on the coach was very knowledgeable and entertaining for the entire trip. On arriving in Pompeii, we et a local guide who showed us round the Pompeii site taking in ate important parts of the ruins. Unfortunately there was no time to wander round for ourselves but understandable as we were on a timetable.

Insufficient toilet stops on the long drive to Positano. There was a stop at one and a half hours, but then no further stop until arrival and transfer to minibuses. No toilet at changeover point which was a layby on a narrrow winding road. This changeover point is positively dangerous and would not be allowed in UK. Entry into Pompeii was a disorganised shambles with arguments between guides and site staff about who had been scanned in and who hadn't.
