And with Monkey beach and Pileh Lagoon also on the itinerary, it's sure to be a great day.As you arrive in the islands, you'll pass the famous Maya Bay – where the Leonardo DiCaprio movie, The Beach, was filmed – en route to Monkey beach. It's so named for the troops of inquisitive monkeys that hang out here.Our favourite stop is at the Pileh lagoon – towering cliffs surround the emerald water and you'll have plenty of time to take a dip. Later you'll be served a buffet lunch and then you can relax under the sun or snorkel and explore the coral reefs.

Between 1st August to 30th September, Maya Bay will be closed to visitors due to ecosystem preservation. During this time, there'll be a sightseeing boat tour of the bay, from a respectful distance

Excellent

Sehr schöne Gegend, allerdings völlig Überlaufen. Affen konnte man nicht sehen, da sich alle vor an das Boot gedrängt haben, Schnorcheln war bei den Massen nicht möglich. Nur Menschenmassen ....selbst schwimmen war nicht möglich. Korallen und Fische waren keine weiter, aber dafür Quallen.
