This site, a World Heritage Site since 1999, reveals letters from the 4th century, showing the temples were dedicated to Hindu gods. Initially built from wood and later reconstructed with bricks in the 7th century after a fire, My Son became a sanctuary of Hinduism in the Champa Kingdom by the 13th century, boasting over 70 temples.
