Pick up punt was voor ons vervelend,moesten er al heel vroeg zijn,omdat het nog donker was,zagen wij ons genoodzaakt om een taxi te nemen. Bij hotel ophalen zou beter zijn geweest! De mogelijkheid om met een gids ,na de 4x4 tocht ,langs de krater te gaan,vereist toch wel dat je goed ter been moet zijn,en ons werd verteld,dat het goed te doen was..Echter toen we daar waren,was het voor ons een no go!

De trip naar de Etna was zeker een aanrader, vooral als je zoals ons voor de 'full experience' gaat. Zeer leuke en mooie tocht! We vonden het al bij al wel een dure trip, want we betaalden bij het boeken van de trip al rond de € 500 voor ons vieren en ter plaatse nog eens ongeveer € 200, we dachten dat de boekingsprijs dit toch zou coveren. Taormina lag nog best ver van de Etna, dat had er niet per se bij gemoeten van ons, maar was wel zeer pittoresk. Grieks-Romeins theater zeer de moeite!
