Visit the city of Matera with this open-top bus. You'll get to know the Sassi in complete comfort, and you'll have the opportunity to take some great pictures.Itinerary:
- Departure from Tramontano Castle: Begin the tour with an overview of the city starting from Tramontano Castle (no stop).
- Belvedere Colombo and Descent into Sasso Barisano: A brief photo stop in the square next to the Church of San Agostino in Matera, offering a breathtaking view of the evocative city of the Sassi (pit stop).
- Sassi of Matera – UNESCO World Heritage Site: Drive-through with several stops within the Sassi of Matera, accessing the main sites (few stops).
- Narrative Cave House in the Sassi of Matera: A 10-minute stop and visit to the typically furnished Cave House, located on the panoramic street of Madonna delle Virtù (10 minutes).
- Piazza San Pietro Caveoso: Stop with a visit to the charming Piazza San Pietro Caveoso in the heart of the ancient Sasso Caveoso (pit stop).
- Piccianello District: Departure towards the Murgia Materana Park, crossing the first popular district of Matera, which arose following the displacement of the Sassi inhabitants (no stop).
- Sanctuary of Madonna della Palomba: Stop with a visit to the so-called Cathedral of the Rupestrian Churches, located in the Murgia Park (20 minutes - when available).
