What to expect
This tour takes you to the heart of Majorca's wine country to sample the fruits of a small family-run winery. We'll head to the village of Santa Maria del Camí to visit Bodega Ramanyà for a guided tour, rounding off the experience with a typical Majorcan snack. Xisco, one of our local guides, says, ‘The family stands for rural Mallorca. They are very entertaining and will tell you all about the history of the island through their collection of farming artefacts.'During your journey to the grape-growing region of Binissalem, which is a Denomination of Origin, your expert guide will give you the lowdown on the island's wines. This terroir is situated near the foothills of the Tramuntana Mountains and, says Xisco, ‘the fertile earth and the sunny weather give the local wines a special taste'. By visiting a local family-run bodega, you'll be contributing to a fairer distribution of revenues – some of the biggest producers of Majorcan wine have vineyards nearby.As you tour the vineyards and winery, you'll learn about the grape varieties, their harvesting, ageing and bottling. You'll also be able to observe the family's collection of artefacts from yesteryear. These were used for the cultivation of the grapes and tilling of the land. Then, comes the best part – you'll sample three wines of your choice alongside a tapas-style snack made from locally sourced ingredients. Try breads, olive oils, cheeses, and more, all washed down with the cellar's own wines.

A small friendly group. Lovely guide Maria. Really enjoyed meeting a local family and hearing about how they developed their business. The family were very welcoming and momma waa amazing. The wine tasting was very enjoyable as was the lovely lunch.

Thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting experience. Vineyard set in beautiful grounds, very interesting and knowledgeable guides. Wine was lovely, very generous portions! Accompanied by lovely food. The owners were very welcoming. The only downside was that we were the 1st to be picked up in the morning at 8:25 and spent 2+ hours on the coach before we got to the vineyard and then a long coach trip back. Felt like we spent more time on the coach than at the vineyard

Deutsche Tour gebucht im Bus waren , Reiseleiter sprach englisch 3 Deutsche 4 Schweizer 12 Engländer Auf dem Weingut wurde die Gruppe in 2 Gruppen aufgeteilt deutsche Führung vom Weingut Besitzer war sehr gut , Transfer war nur extrem lang 2 Stunden auf dem hin und Rückweg

The winery was in a beautiful setting that I enjoyed wandering around. The small museum of local trades that used to exist in the village, was very interesting. Talk on how they produce their wines was also interesting. A printed information sheet to read later woukd be ideal Wine tasting and local snacks was enjoyable. I would have perhaps liked to have had more interesting tapas. It was mostly bread based. I particularly enjoyed the singing by the very engaging mother of the wine producer!

I think u need to add a short film to show how the wine is actually made and produced. Because as the season for making the wine was over we were only told second hand . I think it would have been more beneficial to the trip if there was a film. Also the mother didn’t speak English and so we are getting the information second hand through the TUI guide.

Die Reiseleiterin sprach nur englisch. Da wir nur 8 Deutsche waren, war es ok. Der Weinbauer machte mit uns Deutschen eine eigene Führung auf deutsch. Sehr interessant, informativ und sehenswert sein Museum mit alten Werkzeugen und Kutschen. Die Weinverkostung war sehr gelungen mit guten Weinen und Häppchen. Zum Schluss haben alle Gäste gesungen und gelacht. Was will man mehr?

Habe diesen Ausflug bereits zum 2. Mal gemacht und würde diesen auch nochmal machen. Weiterempfehlen würde ich es meinen Freunden auch die Ausflüge buchen möchten. Eine wirklich tolle Familie die das Weingut da bewirtschaftet. Super nett und zuvorkommend. Was ich schade fand, dass der Busguide leider nur Englisch sprach und ich somit leider kaum etwas verstanden habe im Bus, obwohl ich deutsch gebucht hatte für den Ausflug. Auf dem Weingut haben wir vom Besitzer eine deutsche Führung erhalten.

Wir hatten ein paar superschöne Stunden auf dem Weingut und können diesen Ausflug auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Supernette Gastgeber, leckeres Essen und Weine. Es war sehr unterhaltsam und mal was ganz anderes, als die üblichen Touristen Ausflüge. Unsere Reiseleiter Matthias und Damaris waren auch sehr nett und wir haben uns mit ihnen sehr wohl gefühlt. Das einzige was aber ja leider immer das Problem ist, dass wir erstmal sehr viele Stationen anfahren mussten bis wir am Ziel waren.

Firstly the only negative- we could not hear the driver / guide clearly !! He needs to talk louder. The winery visit was exceptional.The family were wonderful and high energy fun was had by all.The museum of all the machinery and carriages etc was fabulous and should be advertised on an equal parr as the winery Highly recommended.

Fantastic tour guide. The hosts were lovely and made us feel welcome. It was one of the best tours we have been on, very generous with the wine and food. The museum was excellent and it was good to see that the host kept collecting so that it was not lost. The family dog even took part and came on the bus to say goodbye.

Uitleg door gids Triene over het landschap daar naartoe. Hartelijke verwelkoming door de familie. Klein gezellig museum. Goede uitleg over wijn. Proeven van wijn met tapas erbij. An excellent experience. The Bodega Ramanya is a small, family run winery. The family meet and prpydly guide you around their beautiful bodega, gardens and personal museum. This is followed by a wine tasting, with copious food pairings including Mallorcan sausage, serrano ham, local cheese, olives, bread, olive oil and apple tart. The family catered for my vegan diet too, and another member of the group with gluten free food. The family, particularly Mama, are very welcome and welcoming.

Veldig god guide som så alle deltakerne, var kunnskapsrik og formidlet innholdet veldig bra. Skapte også god stemning og bydde på seg selv. Great trip put a small family run business so the owner Mr Tony takes you round. Very informative takes you through the gardens to his museum which is full of local history, To be fair most people are there for the wine and there's no disappointment there, 4 to taste and plenty of it with bread with olive oil, cheese,ham and sausage. Great atmosphere stories and singing especially from his mother who is as mad as cheese in the most delightful way. Our guide was great and helped make it a success

Die Reiseleitung hat nur Englisch gesprochen, Sie konnte kein Deutsch so etwas geht gar nicht. Ausser uns sind viele ältere Leute mitgefahren und niemand hat etwas verstanden. Für 60 Euro pro Person müsste so etwas selbstverständlich sein. Das Weihngut und die Familie ist super.

Der Service auf dem Weingut war hervorragend,tolles Ambiente, tolle Führung die Toni mit den deutschen Gästen gemacht hat, die Familie sehr nett, die Verkostung unschlagbar. Die Kritik gilt der Hinfahrt. Leider konnten wir und die anderen deutschen Gäste nichts über Land und Leute kennenlernen, es waren alles ältere Gäste, die den Guide nicht verstehen konnten, da sie kein Deutsch sprach. Bitte bei den Buchungen darauf hinweisen, dass es nur englischsprachige Guides auf der Fahrt gibt.

Slightly surrreal experience but very entertaining. The guide was efficient to translate from Mallorcan to spanish then english and a german. The owner/hostess of the vinyard was amazing . wine was plentiful and food enjoyable. Did not expect to take part in a singalong under a mallorcan sun in a beautiful and tranquil setting but thoroughly enjoyed it!! Improvements would be an on time coach and slightly limiting numbers so the the tour of hotels to pick up and drop off passengers was shorter.

Ein netter Empfang, fast schon familiär. Super Atmosphäre . Es gibt die Möglichkeit Wein zu kaufen, aber es wird nicht darauf gedrängt. Während der Weinprobe nette Unterhaltung durch die Familie mit einbinden der Gäste. Würden wir wieder buchen.

Die Abholung am vereinbarten Treffpunkt war pünktlich. Die Reiseleiterin erklärte unterwegs den Ablauf des Tages und erzählte einiges über die Insel. Der Fahrer meisterte auch die engsten Straßen mit Baustellen mit Bravour. Toni, der Inhaber des Weingutes Ramanya und seine Mutter zeigten uns den wunderschönen Garten, ihre Sammlung der verschiedensten Dinge der Insel und erklärten die Weinherstellung. Zum Abschluss gab es 4 verschiedene Weine , jeweils mit entsprechenden Tapas in geselliger Runde

War sehr schön und informativ. Nicht so toll waren die Informationen im Bus, die größtenteils nur in Englisch stattgefunden haben. Der Rundgang auf den Weingut wurde, da wir nur 3 Deutsche waren, vom Inhaber selbst durchgeführt. Er war sehr informativ, interessant und lustig. Auch die Weinverkostung war sehr schön gestaltet. Dieser Ausflug ist wirklich weiter zu empfehlen.

The owner and her son are extremely amusing and friendly. Couldn't have asked for a better day. Wonderful gardens and a very good museum with lots of antique machinery and carriages. Plenty of wine tasting and the food was lovely. I would have liked to see the actual vines they grow but this is a winery visit not a vineyard

Brilliant day, the only downside was that we wanted it to be longer! Lots of information from Mrs O, our guide, at the winery itself our hosts were engaging & welcoming & the wine & food were excellent, on the face of it the value doesn't seem great, you do get very generous measures of wine & there are plenty of nibbles to go round but the day is so much more than just product alone, we got to chat with people from all over the world, all suitably loosened by the excellent wine, recommended!

The wine tasting and local food was delicious. The garden was interesting and full of tropical plants. The Museum of old tools, cycles, prams, coaches and much more was Superb. The best winery visit in a foreign country that we have had. The host was wonderful. The sing song as a finale was fun. A Perfect Tour.

Very enjoyable visit from start to finish. The family were very welcoming.. Mother was an absolute gem, The museum was very interesting and informative. It was all finished off with a light lunch, (which was delicious)and wine tasting. All I can say is that the wine flowed freely, and in my opinion, this was more like having friends around to visit. Our guide was also very good and knowledgeable. An excellent experience and well worth the money.

Toller Tourguide, hübsches kleines Anwesen. Leckerer Wein und es gibt genug zum Probieren. Die Häppchen dazu waren auch sehr lecker.

TUI Schild an der Bushaltestelle wäre hilfreich. Digital Verspätung senden über die App. Logistik der Busse wäre vorher angebracht, der Verkehr in Palma ist bekannt, Busfahrt länger als der Aufenthalt des Ereigniss. Reiseleitung ,es gibt empathischere Mitarbeiter... Die Familie, die wir besucht haben war sehr nett und hat ein tolles kleines Museum eingerichtet . Auch der Garten war sehr, sehr schön. Alles in allem war der Besuch eine nette, unterhaltsame Abwechslung. Preis/Leistung grenzwertig.

Was annoying to have to do so many coach pick ups east of Palma meant it took us 2 hours to get to the winery from our resort (but should have only taken an hour) It would have been nicer to do a proper tasting of the wine rather than just be drinking it

Das ist ein kleines Weingut, was von einer sehr lieben Familie geführt wird. Eine ganz liebe Frau Mutter und ihr super lieber Sohn. Ganz wichtig ist das man Bargeld dabei hat alls man etwas zu kaufen möchte, da das Weingut noch über keinen Ec Karten lese Gerät verfügt.
