What to expect
Were the sky not blue in Lanzarote, you'd think you were on the Moon or Mars. They're both a bit far away, but Lanzarote is just 30 minutes by boat from Fuerteventura, which is a short time to travel for an otherworldly experience. You'll visit Timanfaya National Park, El Golfo and a winery – all in one day.After an early pick-up, you'll go to the port to board the ferry to Playa Blanca. The action starts straight away with a visit to Timanfaya National Park, which is home to a third of the island's 100 volcanoes. Admire eerie landscapes of fantastic forms in shades of maroon, red, grey and black. You'll also be treated to a few party tricks courtesy of the geothermic earth below you.On the park's coastal edge, head to El Golfo to see the green lagoon at the back of a black beach and the nearby Hervideros cliffs. They were formed by molten lava pouring into the sea. There's a stop to learn all about the benefits of aloe vera. Rounding off the day is a visit to a typical wine cellar in La Geria, where, for a supplement, you can sample some of the wine on offer.

Von Anfang an erzählt, ein Schild „Volcano Express“ an der Busscheibe wäre hilfreich, wenn man an einer Bushaltestelle wartet. Die Zeit am **********-Restaurant ist viel zu kurz, wir hätten dort gern einen Kaffee getrunken und etwas gegessen. Die Fahrt durch den Timanfaya Nationalpark, war sehr eindrucksvoll und Informativ. Für das Restaurant zur Mittagspause und das „Aloe Vera Museum“ lieber „MUSEO Punto de Information“ oder „Timanfaya Besucher- und Interpretationszentrum“ besuchen.

The tour was really rushed in between different parts. There was no time to properly enjoy and explore the different attractions. We had between 15-20 minutes to try explore/enjoy, eat, go to the toilet. Could be planned better. It is a shame as it could be a really nice tour- luckily the views saved the day and it wasn't a letdown for all but that's only mother nature saving it.

The tour was in three different languages, and whilst the guides English was perfect it did make the information she was giving a little disjointed. The wine tasting was a little pointless so maybe could have been replaced with something different. The volcano tour and experience was excellent and to be recommended

Jammer van het weer....door regenbuien was het niet mogelijk om alles te zien maar de gids heeft dit gewelfig opgelost door een fijne trip met de bus. We zijn geen fan van busritjes maar dit was echt de oplossing met aandacht voor ons, de toeristen. Super aardige gids die met veel liefde vertelde over het land.

It felt a little too rushed with limited time at some points. El Golfo, fine re time. The second stop was for lunch, well too early for me so did nothing during that time when next door was the second stop of aloe vera presentation. I was last in queue for my purchases and could have done with more time - perhaps aloe vera place before lunch break?. Volcano park was rushed and could have done with more time there and cut out La Geria winery stop altogether for 1 sip of wine only, pointless!

Eigenlijk was alleen de vulkaantour de moeite waard. Er werd te veel ruimte gegeven voor de verkoopdemonstraties van wijn en aloë vera, en véél te weinig tijd voor "het groene meer". Daar kregen we 20 minuten, voor heen en terug lopen, foto's, en evt. toiletbezoek. Er was één functionerend damestoilet!

Not sure we needed half hour stop just 30 mins after ferry, for a 1/2” wine tasting at a posh service station in middle of nowhere. Rest of trip was excellent. None-included buffet lunch was okay - but could have just bought a hamburger there (they don’t tell you that) - better still buy a sandwich at the first stop and save €30 per couple! Volcano tour itself really good and very different to others I’ve been on. Well organised, no long drives and door to door for ferry

The bits we really enjoyed were: the ferry trip, the visit to Mount Timanfaya and the geological "experiments" taking place. What we didn't like: wine tasting-a pointless exercise in trying to sell you wine (no tasting notes, no info, nothing) and the aloe Vera museum. Another pointless exercise in which the museum is a shop! And we were expecting to go to the Los Hervideros caves (as was advertised) and that didn't happen. Really disappointed generally for the money paid.

Perfekt organisiert und tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Leider etwas sehr gedrängtes Programm. Aber toll um einen ersten Eindruck von der Insel zu bekommen. Der Lunch-Stop könnte überdacht werden. Zu weng Zeit und leider keine Alternative zum mittelmäßigen Buffet. Alles in allem aber eine sehr empfehlenswerte Tour und ein wundervoller Tag auf Lanzarote. Tolle Reiseleitung!

We’ve really enjoyed our trip to Lanzarote. We’ve visited Aloe Vera museum -short very informative stay with opportunity to buy Aloe Vera products as well. Then we’ve visited El Golfo -famous Green Lagoon, breathtaking Timanfaya National Park and finally vineyard with vine tasting experience. We had a great time and our learnt a lot about Lanzarote history . Definitely I would recommend that trip . Would be great to have some extra 10-15 minutes at El Golfo to visit a beach as well.

Aloe Vera "Museum" ist eine Verkaufsshow. In der Schweiz ist es gar nicht so einfach erlaubt, irgendwelche Pflanzen oder Aloe Vera mitzunehmen, das muss exakt deklariert sein. Das Buffet-Restaurant nebenan für 15 € ist Massenabfertigung. Unfreundlicher Mensch nimmt die Gäste entgegen (busweise), dann zählen Guide und unfreundlicher Mensch durch, wie viele es sind. Mutmasslich für die Provision. Das Essen ist naja und man wird massenhaft an Tische gezwängt. Würde mir was anderes wünschen.

Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Tour, trotz weniger Austiegsmöglichkeiten hat man viel von der Vulkanlandschaft gesehen. Bei der Mittagspause sind wir nicht mit in das Touri-Restaurant, sondern selbst in die Stadt und haben dort ein süßes Café entdeckt. Das "Aloe Vera Museum" ist eine Verkaufsveranstaltung, vllt kann man das überspringen und danach wieder dazukommen. Die Weinprobe besteht wie beschrieben aus zwei Sorten, haben wir aber auch schon deutlich schlechter erlebt und der Ausblick war super

The national park was something incredible. The park scenery and feel were just so outside my expectations and so totally extraordinary. What a place. History is right there. Nature is right there. Mind blowing. Lunch was rushed and we felt pushed to buy buffet. It was nice but expensive for family of 4. A bit arduous going through 4 languages for each announcement. Especially after group was split to different languages on different busses. Thoroughly worthwhile trip though.

Leider entsprach dieser Ausflug in keiner Weise den Erwartungen, die durch Ihre Beschreibung geweckt wurden. Statt einer inhaltlich hochwertigen und informativen Tour erlebten wir ein unausgewogenes Programm, das fast ausschließlich auf Verkaufsstopps ausgerichtet. Die Aufenthalte an den eigentlichen Sehenswürdigkeiten waren extrem kurz und ließen keine Möglichkeit, Lanzarote wirklich kennenzulernen.

Abbiamo scoperto solo la mattina stessa che il punto di ritrovo era diverso rispetto a quello selezionato, inoltre una del gruppo si è sentita male. Abbiamo cercato di contattarli (le FAQ dicevano di contattare un numero di emergenza presente nel voucher, il numero non c'era). Siamo andati al porto per cercare il traghetto e non l'abbiamo trovato, l'ufficio fisico era sempre chiuso (siamo andati due volte). Siamo ancora in attesa della risposta alla mail dove chiedevamo aiuto/di cambiare.

First of all I want to express that I am glad that I have attended this tour. Unfortunately we have expected something different from this tour. We have expected a lot more walking and hiking instead of sitting in a bus looking at a volcanic scenery. All of the stops were interesting, our guide knew a lot about each place, we felt safe and had every information we needed. It just wasn't anything like we hoped it would be.

An 1h40mins on coach prior to the ferry, a bit long, first pick up. Not enough time walking or events to do. Wine testing was nothing really. Driver forgot my family were still on the coach as we were last off and he turned back, only about 5 mins lost. Ferry crossing and the scenery was great.

Straffes programm, sehr interessant, manche aufenthalte zu kurz. Guide und busfahrer super. Nationalpark mit den vullkan - tolle eindrücke - auch die busfahrt durch die "mondlandschaft"- die weinverkostumg würde ich nicht als solche bezeichnen.. - ein schluck tockenen oder süssen wein für jeden. - trotzdem interessant, woe der wein dort traditionell angebaut wird... aloe vera museum war für mich persönlich jetzt nicht so interessant, verkauf war aber in keinster weise aufdringlich.- generell top

It was an absolutely amazing trip to be on an actual volcano we did the moon trip as well. Our 10 year old loved the science experiments on top of the volcano. Our tour guide was amazing very fluent in all languages needed, we did the wine tasting at the local vineyard very nice. Would definitely do this trip again it’s a really good experience.

Erg leuk om varend naar een ander eiland te gaan .Ook de noordelijke rondrit door het vulkaanlandschap is betoverend. Verder is het allemaal nogal gehaast. Zo komt een wijnproeverij met 1 glaasje zonder uitleg totaal niet uit de verf en is voor ons een 3e bezoek aan een Aloe Vera verkoop bepaald geen toegevoegde waarde meer .

Sehr schöner Ausflug. Preis erschien uns angemessen. Guide war top. Weniger Sprachen im Bus hätten es sicher einfacher gemacht. Die Musik während der Tour im Nationalpark erschien uns recht laut, aber das ist nur eine Randnotiz. Wir fanden den Ausflug super.

Die Tour war mir insgesamt etwas zu Stressig. Eine Stunde mehr Zeit wäre besser gewesen. Die Bus-Rundfahrt durch den Nationalpark hat bei mir eine "Seekrankheit" ausgelöst. Die Infos zum Nationalpark waren interessant. Die Hintergrundmusik jedoch sehr sehr speziell. Weniger ist oft mehr.

Viel Bus, an den Sehenswürdigkeiten zu wenig Zeit. Weinverkostung war nur Hetzerei, Aloe-Museum war eine Verkaudfsveranstaltung.

Aloevera Museum war eine schöne Erfahrung, grüne Lagune war interessant, Experimente beim Vulkan waren cool aber hätten gerne länger gehen können. Auf Vulkan - gegrilltes Hähnchen hätten wir gerne probiert

Die Tour wurde sehr gut geführt. Die beiden Informationsstops bei den Verkaufsinformationen über Cremen und Wein waren nicht so unser Ding, aber wir nutzten es als willkommene Pause.
