Squeezed in between the ancient ruins left behind by the Greek, Roman and Byzantine eras, Kos town's harbour is fronted by an outstanding medieval castle. The island's capital is both stylish and atmospheric, and comes alive after dark. You'll be picked up at your hotel and dropped off in Kos town, where you'll have an evening to explore its lively old town and harbour area at your own pace.Fringed by cafés and beautiful boats, you could watch the sun dip down at a harbour-side bar and then enjoy dinner in one of the town's eateries – there's everything from traditional tavernas to contemporary restaurants to choose from.Or why not wander through the streets of the old town, lined with pretty lanterns and colourful bougainvillea. The journey took ages 1 1/2 hours each way from the Blue Lagoon.village to Kos Town. Had to do lots of pick ups and the air conditioning on the bus was not working. It was unbearable. It would have been much better to have a seperate mini bus just for our hotel. Kos Town was worth a visit

The bus into town is a great service you get around four and a half hrs to explore the bus was 10 mins late for pick up and seemed to go around the mountain to get back . A map of the town would be good to be given out on bus

Pick up on time overall very good only thing was people getting off the bus in Kos and the driver forgot to tell the people what time to come back or which bus to get back on at 10 o'clock. He had to shout when people were walking away. And one woman and her daughter never make it back to the

No rep on board! Driver was a little rude and not clear where we going. The write up on the trip mentioned an app so we could get info about sights we were seeing ect we never got given that information. Wasn’t well organised! Literally just picked up and dropped off I’m sure a bus or taxi cheaper. Also several other hotels for pick ups on the way making the journey well over an hour feel should be told this prior to booking

A great trip out to see Kos town for the money. The only issue we had was there was no air con on either of the coaches and it was mega hot especially having to do several pick ups and drop offs. It would also be nice to have some idea where you are when they drop you off in Kos especially for those that have never been before. We managed to find our way though and did what we wanted in the time allowed. Would recommend the trip.

The driver was safe and coach was fine, but the travel time was extremely long with all the pick-ups which we didn’t expect with a baby in tow. What should be a 45 minute drive to Kos Town ended up being just short of 2 hours, very long. The pick-up location was in a very dark part of the port and we felt vulnerable walking to the pick-up in the dark with the children. I would find another way of travel into Kos next time.

Disorganised no rep to tell us where to go. Coming back from Kos town no one to tell us which number coach we were on. Daughter has ADHD and created a lot of unnecessary stress for her and anxiety We cancelled the Greek night because of this

The bus journey and the location of the drop off and pick up were straight forward. The timing of the pick up could have been a little earlier for us as 10pm felt a bit too late when you're with younger children. But otherwise, the trip is great value for money, given our cab fare would have been 47 euros each way! Plus the public bus only did day trips. There are lots of lovely quaint bars and restaurants and shops to explore. We also took the little train around the town which was good too.

Kos Town was worth a trip but our bus was 15 minutes late and we were the first to pick up and last to drop off meaning that it too lo 1.5 hours to get home. No advice on where to go, we were dropped and left and had to figure it out. Glad to see Kos town but wasn’t worth 3 hours on a bus to get there!

Bus drop of at port, met back at set time, and same bus. Bus didn't have any a/c, and driver was on the phone all the time. Also left about 10 mins early, and could have caused some people to miss the bus. However, it was good otherwise! Book the trip if you can!

The best value for money trip we went on. You basically only pay for your transfer from your hotel but as with all the trips it's timed perfectly. Buses could do with more modernising as per air con but we did visit during a heatwave. Kos Town is busy, fun, loads to see and do. More shops than you think selling everything from holiday essentials to knock off designer brands (which looks great). Great choice of bars and restaurants too. All in all a brilliant holiday. Thank you TUI and Kos!

All good apart from the return journey. Waited in the car park in the pitch black. Can’t see which coach we need. Finally saw our driver who says he wasn’t taking us had to wait for another coach. All good. Get on drive back to hotels and this driver was the scariest driver ever

Great value for money - would have cost more than double in a taxi. Coach picked us up exactly on time and dropped us off in the centre of Kos by the castle. It was wonderful to be in the city at sundown and all the shops and little cobbled streets being lit up was a delight to see. The time absolutely flew by. Unfortunately the driver dropped people off in a different order to picking them up causing confusion but otherwise it was fine. Will look at booking 'Zia by Night' next time :-)

Kos town was a brilliant experience, most especially the tourist ships lit up in the harbour after dark. Unfortunately, there was no Tui rep/guide on the trip and many of our party were upset about this. You are dropped in a car park and left to your own devices.

Enjoyed the experience of Kos Town, the restaurant's and bars were plentiful and atmosphere was great. The only concern was the drip off and pick up point. When picked up the area was very dark and some guests felt vulnerable walking back in an unlit area.

Make sure book a great restaurant before u go with views of sunset . Bus in time going and coming back but no TUI rep to be seen just bus driver lets you know what time bus is departing. Amazing views and sunset.

This is just a coach transfer to Kos. It is not titled as this so we assumed we would receive some guidance as to which direction to leave the coach drop off and where to head to. Instead you are dropped and left without a clue as to where the main centre is or any of the main sites are. We plumped to follow the masses and ended up in a pleasant restaurant but more by luck than anything else. There needs to be some form of guidance as to how to get the most of of the short time there.

This trip was a transport coach from Kardamena to Kos town. The coach dropped us off and told us the return bus number and departure time. We left the hotel at 16:30 and it takes an hour to arrive and we departed Kos at 22:00. It was enough time to have some lovely food and do some shopping.

Great value for money picked up 16.45pm took 20 mins to get to Kos town then 10pm pickup back to hotel in good time coach is air conditioned and driver so kind they appreciate a tip if you take a couple of spare euros for them

The trip was good but was essentially only a return coach journey to and from Kos Town. For this it was reasonable value. There was no guide or rep for this trip. TUI gave no information on the destination such as maps, walking routes and places to visit. There was no information given to us about the return journey. People on the tour from other hotels were given a slip of paper with the return bus number and pick up time. The bus was about 15 minutes late to pick us up.

I was a little worried that it wouldn’t be enough time, however it was plenty. We managed to browse the shops, have dinner, go for some cocktails and get a braid in my hair. The bus parked in a slightly different space on the way home, so if we hadn’t have asked we wouldn’t had know it was ours. But other than that it was a good trip out!

Great trip worth visiting kos Town safely and were given enough time to explore Downside was time it took to get there on the coach was 2 hours and then 45 mins to get back , if we were told how long the travel would be we would perhaps not go and make our own was there The coach driver had no patience neither was he friendly ... seemed dropping us off was too far out for him which we felt the whole way there and back

Was a great experience, good value for money, coach arrived 5 mins early so we got straight off, a few pick ups and only 35 mins into Kos Town. We did some Shopping then went to 2 lovely bars and had a meal While watching the boats in the harbour, onward home at 10pm back at hotel for 10.40 , perfect!

Kos town is fantastic it has a old and new part It’s like a maze of shops and easy to get lost but every path takes you to the harbour so once you have made your way up to the centre every rd leads back down ! It’s full of hustle and bustle some incredible shops and plenty of places to eat

A nice visit to Kos town but I would suggest a longer time is needed 4 hours doesn’t give you time see all the sites.
My only complaint is that we had to visit 4 other hotels to collect passengers what was from other hotels. What could have been a 40 minute journey turned out to 90 mins

Kos is a lovely town, but had I known it was going to take 90 minutes to travel 32km I wouldn't have bothered. Stops to pick up at several hotels so factor that into your plans.
