Was expecting a tui coach, but instead 15 of us were expected to travel in a old cramped uncomfortable minibus, also we had a mixed group with 3 Germans which wasn't a problem for us, but the guide had to repeat everything twice and I believe that the Germans did not get value for money. And a British couple wre picked up at 6am so had had to spend almost 8 hours in this minibus. Please advise how this can be a half day tour?

Fahrer: sprach weder deutsch noch englisch , viel zu laute und chaotisch abgespielte Musik im Bus Guide: kam viel zu spät ,machte eine übernächtigten und unausgeschlafenen Eindruck, zudem war er sehr unsymphatisch und überaus schlecht gelaunt, er wollte die Führung in Deutsch und Englisch halten und als eine Französin auf Französisch bestand flippte er völlig aus, schrie beschimpfte und drohte der Frau -die Stimmung war sehr bedrückend danch durch das absolut unakzeptabel Verhalten des Guide .

Un guide très désagréable, ayant payé pour une sortie en langue française ( tout comme d' autres personnes) nous nous sommes retrouvés avec des allemands et anglais dans le groupe et le guide savait parler parfaitement les 3 langues mais à crier et refuser de traduire la visite en français, une grande déception car la visite était intéressante....

Le temps fut notre pire ennemi! L'explication était au top, rien à dire, nous avons partagé le voyage avec des irrespectueux et là l'aventure était décevante, bien que TUI n'y peut rien pour ce point là. Par contre visiter Sidi bon Said en 40 minutes c'était décevant... Nous avons sympathisé avec des locaux et l'appréciation, le temps d'expliquer aussi était au top aussi... Désolé...

Nous sommes partis à 5h50 de Sousse et nous sommes arrivée au Carthage à 9h40 (4 heures de trajets au lieu de 2 heures pour s’arrêter à chaque hôtel). Une fois arrivée, le guide parle pendant 10 minutes puis nous partons directement donc pas du tout le temps de profiter des lieux où d’observer… Ensuite, à Sidi Bou Saïd, nous sommes arrivé à 12h10 pour se retrouver au bus à 13 heures (visite + manger en 50 minutes). Puis, retour en 4 heures. Donc 8 heures de route pour seulement 3 h 30 de visite…

Out guide was knowledge and entertaining. I felt the itinerary was a little rushed due to hosting and having to pick up too many individuals leaving less time at Sis bou Said on particular. I would still recommend the trip as a whole.

Karthago und sidi bou Said sind als solches eine schöne Attraktion. Jedoch die weite Fahrt vom Hotel (Magic Life africana) war mir zu viel. Von insgesamt acht Stunden Ausflug saßen wir sechst Stunden nur im Bus um von a nach b zu fahren.

This was a great half day trip to Carthage and Sidi Bou Said. Comfortable bus, great guide and driver, no ‘shopping stops’. There were no unexpected costs. We had four stops in total, two at Carthage, one at Sidi Bou Said, and one at the Punic harbour. I particularly appreciated the operator accommodating me as a solo traveller and only person booked on the half day, providing a private transfer back at no extra charge.

Un immense merci à mon guide, Firas, qui m'a permis de visiter les beaux monuments de Carthage mais aussi le magnifique village de Sidi Bou Said et enfin de prendre le temps de cheminer dans la médina de Tunis. Plus qu'une visite, un morceau de Tunisie m'a été offert ce jour là.

Terrible, what’s included isn’t actually included! It’s a guided tour but then your taken to the first stop and told you have to pay the guide another £20! Then taken to be harassed by the drivers friends to buy tat, from there it’s much of the same, dropped off in the middle of shops in Sidi Bou Said for the drivers friends to harass you for more money!
