What to expect
This grand tour of Gran Canaria takes in the best of the island's highlands in just one day as you visit the villages of Tejeda and Teror . There'll be plenty of photo stops along the way, too. Pepe, one of our local guides, says, "Teror is one of my favourite spots on the island, with history seeping from the walls in the old quarter. The buildings are so charming and in the main square, you'll get to see the typical Canarian balconies the town is famous for."It's a blockbuster from the go. Our first stop is at the Degollada de la Yegua viewpoint, which by day boasts views of a Wild West-like canyon and by night of the stars. Then it's on to Tunte, where you might decide to visit the Casa Los Yánez Ethnographic Museum, though it is not open every day. Next, you'll head to Tejeda, considered one of Spain's prettiest villages. All pretty whitewashed houses and palm trees nestled in the shadow of Roque Nublo and Roque Bentayga, it's Insta-perfect.There's some free time scheduled here where you can explore on your own and find a spot to buy lunch. When you've had your fill here, the afternoon is then dedicated to the picture-postcard town of Teror. It's famed for its pastel-coloured colonial homes with carved overhanging balconies.

Hotel war sehr schön. Essen war sehr gut. Zimmer toll und sauber. Personal immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einziger Mangel ist, dass um 06.30 Uhr schon die Reservierung der Liegen anfing und dann stundenlang keiner kommt.. Es war später schwer noch sonnige Plätze zu finden. Die Reservierungen der Liegen sollte das Hotel konsequent unterbinden., was sie aber leider nicht machen. Wir haben einen Ausflug in Landesinnere gebucht, welcher durch unseren Guide Miguel sehr informativ gestaltet wurde.

Enjoyed getting to experience the centre of the island taking in lots of stops to see the different villages and experience this part of the island and its micro climate. Tour guide also gave us information about all the places we visited.

I am not happy with this at all. Where do I even start? This was not a good trip. Starting with the guide who couldn’t speak proper understandable English. I get that an accent is hard to get rid off, but if your going to work in customer service, if you’ll call it that, especially that focuses on international sales you should have an understandable English. Then, they gave us around 45 minutes for lunch and we stressed out the poor waiter at the first open restaurant. Only sickness. Hate it.

Die Tour war insgesamt wunderschön, vorbei an wunderschön blühenden Mandelbäumen, schade dass inmitten dieser blühenden Bäumen kein Stopp für wunderschöne Bilder vorgesehen war, man kann durch die spiegelnden Autobus Scheiben schlecht Fotos machen! Der Busfahrer ist ausgezeichnet gefahren, leider hat er sich nicht einmal bedankt für unser doch angemessenes Trinkgeld! Die Reiseleiterin war sehr kompetent und freundlich.

Vi er veldig fornøyd med turen, både når det gjelder guiding, lunsj og hva vi fikk se av vakre områder. Vi var litt uheldig med busstransporten da første buss havarerte dør og ny buss kom etter en times tid. Denne bussen ble etter noen km krasjet i steinkast og ny buss måtte rekvireres. Turen tok således ca 10 timer fra start. Aloveraplantasjen falt således ut av programmet. Uansett var det en nydelig tur.

Die Tour war großartig, Gabi und Andres haben uns viel Neues gezeigt und erklärt. Besonders beeindruckt haben mich die Klimazonen, durch die wir gefahren sind. Das einzig wirklich negative war das Mittagessen. In dem Restaurant war es sehr laut, kalt und das Essen war minderwertig. Wir wurden mit 4 Fremden an einen Tisch gesetzt, was auch merkwürdig war. Dessert wurde vergessen und auf Nachfrage sollten wir dem Kellner dann sagen, was jeder (!) aus unserer Gruppe (15 Leute) vorbestellt hatte.

Das Mittagessen war leider nicht genießbar. Ansonsten hat alles gepasst. Wir haben tolle Eindrücke sammeln dürfen und an einem Tag relativ viel gesehen. Der Guide hat uns sehr viel über Gran Canaria erzählt. Bis auf das schlechte Essen kann man den Ausflug weiter empfehlen.

Die Tour war sehr interessant, sehr gute Reiseleitung und sehr gute Busfahrer. Misereabel war das Mittagessen (Mampf) viel besser wäre ein Lunchpaket oder die Gäste packen sich selbst was ein und zahlen dafür etwas weniger.

Ich und mein Freund waren rundum zurfrieden! Es lief alles sehr unkompliziert ab - wir wurden pünktlich am Bussteig abgeholt, der Bus war sehr sauber und neu und der Busfahrer fuhr auch den ganzen Weg über sehr gut und sicher. Der Guide war auch sympathisch und witzig, hat gut Deutsch und Englisch gesprochen und uns super Eindrücke und Hintergrundwissen gegeben. Die Orte, die wir besucht haben waren toll, auch das Essen war lecker. Diese Tour würde ich Jedem weiter empfehlen :)

A good tour of the central area of the island with good views. We stopped 4 times each was fairly short time. But understandable to keep the tour a reasonable length. Lunch was ok but could have vegetables rather than only fish or meat plus potatoes. Restaurant was very busy but service was ok.

Nach 20 Jahren Guide, hat Miguel immernoch dermaßen schlecht deutsch und noch schlechter englisch gesprochen. Was er erzählt hat war langweilig, uninformativ, unmotiviert, unspektakulär und nicht auch nur die Hälfte des Geldes wert. Das haben wir auch schon viel besser erlebt. Das Essen war eine Zumutung und an Qualität kaum zu unterbieten. Der Busfahrer kannte die Ausmaße seines Busses sehr gut und hat diese auch bis zum Äußersten ausgereizt. Wir waren froh am Ende wieder im Hotel zu sein.

Der Reiseleiter vor Ort, Denis, hat auf Anfrage, ob diese Tour auch rollstuhlgerecht sei gemeint, dass es im Großen und Ganzen für Rollstuhlfahrer durchaus geeignet ist. Wir haben ihm diesbezüglich vertraut und daher gar nicht mehr genau Ihre Bestätigung gelesen, in der Sie das Gegenteil schreiben. Das hat dann das Erlebnis an der Reise verständlicherweise etwas getrübt. Die Reiseleitung bei der Busfahrt war absolut in Ordnung. Leider landet das Mittagessen auf der Tour nur unter genießbar.

Preis/Leistung Verhältniss stimmt nicht mehr. Die Preise sind dermaßen in die Höhe geschossen, das es fast keinen Spaß mehr macht. Sollte da nicht etwas geschehen wird dieser Urlaub der letzte dieser Art mit TUI gewesen sein.

Venlig og dygtig guide, som med stor viden og personlig erfaring fortæller om Gran Canaria. Hans tyske og engelske er ikke fantastisk, men man forstår meningen med lidt god vilje. Turen består af meget bjergkørsel, så det skal man være klar over, så man er forberedt på det. Der var nogle i vores mini bus som blev køresyge. Maden var mildt sagt en katastrofe. Rigelig mængde og hurtig servering, men det smagte ikke godt og var en mærkelig blanding af råvarer

Ive lodged a complaint with my hotel rep about the standard of driving by the driver.I honestly thought youd employed an F1 driver by the way he drove.It was bus 449.I think he wanted to get to get job finished to get home. The guide was good and gave plenty of info.I hope you look into this as everyone on the bus moaned about the driving

Sehr schöne Inseltour, die abseits der Hotelburgen das Leben auf Gran Canaria zeigt.Wunderschön sind auch die unterschiedlichen Seiten der Insel-mal glaubt man in Mexiko zu sein, dann wiederum findet man grüne Ecken im Hochland oder den beeindruckenden Roque Nublo. Der Busfahrer hat uns sicher durch die schmalen Straßen gefahren!Das Mittagessen war gut und der Guide hatte viele interessante Geschichten über die Insel zu berichten. ist auch der Roque Nublo

Die Tour war interessant und erlebnisreich. Der einheimische Guide Carmello gab viele wertvolle Informationen, war umsichtig und unterhaltsam. Die Zeit bei den Stopps war relativ kurz. Es erfolgte in meinem Fall keine Abholung vom Hotel sondern von einem Sammelpunkt.

Die Aufenhaltszeit in dem Städten leider viel zu kurz. Man konnte nicht viel sehen. Das Essen war sehr eintönig und für meinen Geschmack leider ebenfalls nichts, dazu gab es keine vegane Alternative, was mir sehr gefehlt hat. Allerdings war der Guide sehr freundlich und hat uns viele Infos mit auf den Weg gegeben. Sehr authentisch!!

Det var en særdeles smuk tur, bjergene og landsbyerne, vi besøgte. Guiden talte et mærkeligt engelsk og tysk sprog, som vi havde svært ved at høre og forstå. Han viste fra sin plads forrest i bussen nogle A4 plancher, som man ikke havde mulighed for at se, hvis man sad i en afstand på over 3-4 meter fra ham. Ikke en eneste gang bevægede han sig ned i bussen, så andre havde mulighed for at se dem. Frokosten var også elendig. Lad folk betale lidt mere, så man kan servere et acceptabelt måltid.

Sehr gepflegtes Hotel. Service unaufdringlich, aber immer da. Bitten um zusätzliche Handtücher o.ä. wurden umgehend erfüllt. Das Frühstück (bis 12 Uhr und immer alles da, auch Glutenfrei) ist ein Traum, die Betten top, die Massage super, durch die entspannte Stimmung einfach insgesamt Erholung pur. Wir sind zum 2. Mal hier und werden wiederkommen. Die Lage zum Meer und zu den Restaurants ist top. Ausflug über TUI gebucht und war sehr zufrieden mit Abholung & Durchführung.

Det var vakre plasser vi besøkte, og selve turen var veldig bra. Men det var lite tid til å besøke stedene, f. eks. i Tejeda tok det 10 min å gå fra bussen til sentrum, så ble bare stress. Lunsjen var grusom. Minnet om studentkantine, lite delikat. 4 valg til forrett, hovedrett og dessert, men ingenting lokalt eller typisk herfra (unntatt gofio til dessert), ingen forklarte hva vi drakk eller spiste. Ville aldri bestilt eller spist det i en annen situasjon. Heller en sandwich fra en cafe.

The content of the excursion, the guide and places visited were really good. The Guide was so knowledgeable. However we were the first to be picked up in the morning and it took 1 1/2 hours to pick up all those joining the tour before the guide began her talk and the tour really started. I appreciate this is probably unavoidable, but with the amount of time it took for all the pick ups/drop offs before and after the tour, it did spoil our enjoyment of the day.

It was a great trip but only thirty minutes at each stop just wasn't along enough at all. Some of the shops weren't up to bus party's so the queues were so long.You just couldn't get served. Every stop was a rush. Guide was excellent.

Erg leuk, dat we een heel goed beeld kregen van Gran Canaria qua natuur, lokaal bestaan vooral door gids en chauffeur. Perfecte service qua halen en brengen. Enigste opmerking van ons betreft niet de tour. Maar de communicatie in de chat met Tui, om de juiste opstapplek te bepalen.

The tour itself was great, beautiful scenery and places, lots of photo opportunities, enjoyed the food. Main negative was regarding the travel time for the hotel pickups, took over an hour and a half to collect everyone before the tour even started, and then the same again on the way back. Would have been much nicer with a smaller group.

Fantastisk guide og chauffør, de havde helt styr på det, og vi fik fortalt mange interessante detaljer undervejs. Desværre var frokosten meget ringe, intet af hvad vi fik smagte af noget, det var udkogt og meget upræsentabelt. Det var noget af en kedelig omgang det hele, og der var ufattelig støj hele vejen igennem. Pga frokosten vil jeg ikke anbefale turen til andre, jeg ville hellere selv have været på en tur uden frokost, hvis dette er hvad man kan forvente.

when I book the agent said we would see the aloe vera field and we never stop there Out of 8 places to see we only stop to 5. Also asked if the bus had bathroom because my daughter has special needs and she said yes there is, but there was no bathroom on the bus. I would not have book this tour. It took too long for the stop to be able to go pee. very desapointed. Ask the agetat hotel and she was to call me back. she never did. We did not go to the next tour because of did not trust tour

Det var ærgerligt at vi skulle bruge over en time på at hente andre gæster på andre hoteller i forskellige byer. Måske man kun lave større afhentningssteder, så man undgik at skulle køre så meget rundt i byerne for at samle folk op? Varighed af turen var 9,5 time, så det kunne man også angive mere præcist i varighed.

Guiden var virkelig svær at forstå på både tysk og engelsk. Det mad der er inkluderet er så ringe at det nærmest er pinligt. Få lidt bedre standard på det og så lad gæsterne selv betale drikkevarer.

On arrival was allocated the wrong room, but having spoken to the TUI representative everything was sorted out within the hour. Overall the hotel was beautiful and staff pleasant and very polite. The food was good and all areas very clean. The location has all amenities and good for a peaceful break away. The beach has watersports available for the more active person but the beach is black sand and a little off putting if you choose to spend the day on the beach. Bus transport good. Great place

Super sehenswerte Rundfahrt! Reiseleiter sehr freundlich und teilte interessante Dinge über die Insel mit. Busfahrer kann man nur loben bei diesen engen Straßen immer die Ruhe zu bewahren!

Der Guide war sehr hilfsbereit. Er hat sich auch um ein vegetarisches Gericht gekümmert. Wir konnten den Platz wechseln, da meiner Tochter schlecht wurde im Bus. Hut ab vor den Fahrkünsten des Busfahrers.

Die Straßen sind sehr kurvig, wenn einem schnell unangenehm wird, bitte Sitzplätze gleich vorne reservieren (wenn möglich). Ansonsten sehr schön und empfehlenswert. Man besucht sehr schöne kleine Orte mit schönen Boutiquen und Souvenirshops. Das Mittagessen war auch sehr lecker.

Schöne & spannende Tour ins Hochland von Gran Canaria. Halte in verschiedenen Bergdörfern mit Fotostopps oder Aufenthalt. Kompetenter, freundlicher Guide und sehr sicherer & erfahrener Busfahrer. Mittagessen (3 Gänge + Getränk) ist inklusive. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Wer mal etwas anderes von der Insel sehen möchte als nur die Touristenorte am Strand, ist bei dieser Tour genau richtig. Schwindelfreiheit ist von Vorteil, da tiefe Schluchten und ganztägig sehr viele Kurven gefahren werden.

Guiden var lokal og vældig inspirerende, men man skulle virkelig anstrenge sig for at følge talestrømmen der foregik på hhv. engelsk og tysk med kraftig spank accent - ville helt klart være en fordel med dansktalende guid.

Maden var ikke god den var lavet for billigt. Guiden var rigtig god han viste alt om øen og fortalte de på en måde så man forstod de. De eneste med turen var at den var 2.5 time længer en guiden Sage da vi bestilte turen vi var først på hotellet 18.00. de gjorde ikke noget bare man viste de.
