Your first destination is the iconic Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed fortified village constructed from earthen clay that has endured for over a millennium. Here, you'll meander through narrow alleys and age-old kasbahs while your guide explains why this dramatic location has been chosen by filmmakers worldwide for productions such as Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and Lawrence of Arabia.The adventure continues at Atlas Film Studios, Africa's largest film studio. You'll delve into the heart of Morocco's filmmaking process, exploring vast sets, props, and behind-the-scenes areas from international movies and series. Afterward, savour a traditional Moroccan lunch at a local eatery before embarking on the scenic drive back to Marrakech. There will be opportunities to stop at panoramic viewpoints to capture images of the serpentine roads, snow-capped peaks (in winter), and charming mountain villages.

Your driver is multilingual and speaks English, French and Arabic
Photography is allowed at most sites, but please ask before taking pictures of local residents
Wear comfortable walking shoes. Some areas have uneven, steep, and dusty surfaces
Dress in light layers. The mornings in the mountains can be cool, while afternoons in Ouarzazate can be warm
Remember to bring:
Bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen, especially in summer months
Bring cash in Moroccan dirhams for any personal purchases or drinks/snacks
The drive involves winding mountain roads; if you are prone to motion sickness, it's recommended bringing medication
