What to expect
This day out mixes Menorca's countryside and coastal views with a taste of local life. Your morning starts at Binissues Manor House, where traditional farm demos and tastings of the island's renowned cheeses get the morning off to a delicious start. Then, it's off to the RIA Menorca factory for a behind-the-scenes look at how the island's iconic Avarca sandals are made. There's even time to browse the collection and maybe pick up a pair as a souvenir. After that, you'll swing by Playas de Fornells to snap some coastline views.Next, you'll continue to Fornells for a guided tour, followed by some free time to dip into the little shops for goodies like handmade soaps and jars of Menorcan honey. Or, settle into a seaside restaurant for lunch – one local favourite is the classic caldereta de langosta, AKA lobster stew.To wrap it all up, you'll make a final stop at Cala Galdana, a little bay with that classic postcard look. It's a lovely spot to take photos, stretch your legs or pause for a final dose of Menorcan views before heading back.
