What to expect
Swoop into an evening of adventure on this 4x4 evening tour of Olympos. You'll catch your first glimpse of this ancient city from a seaside viewpoint, with plenty of time to fill up your camera roll. Next, stop at Cirali Beach, a nesting ground for endangered Caretta Caretta turtles. There's a guided tour of Olympos' ruins available as an extra if you fancy it, or simply stretch out on the sand. Then, see Yanartas, AKA the eternal flame, famous for its natural gas flames – these have been burning four around 2,500 years – before tucking into dinner at Ulupinar.

Im Grund sind wir mit einem Jeep hin und her gefahren. Habe mal angehalten um Firos zu machen. Olympus musste extra bezahlt werden, nunja sie wissen selbst ob sich da 10 euro lohnen. Kein Hinweis auf den beschwerlichen Weg zur Feuershow. Wir haben es nicht gesehn. Der Weg nach oben ist seh mr steil und uneben der zweite grund: wir sind wieder umgekehrt weil es immer dunkler wurde, der Weg nicht beleuchtet war und keine Taschenlampe da war. wirklich schade. Essen war gut.

Highlight waren die ewigen Feuer und die kurze Off-Road-Tour. Insgesamt war zu viel in der Tour und der Aufenthalt pro Station zu kurz. Olympus in 30-40 Minuten? Unmöglich! Insbesondere weil zusätzlich 10€ Eintritt fällig sind. Und auch der Weg auf den Berg, Zeit zu verweilen und Rückweg sind mit 60 Minuten viel zu kurz, gerade für nicht so geübte Wanderer. Das Essen war ein schlechter Scherz und hätte gerne auch durch eine frühere Rückkehr und günstigeren Preis ersetzt werden können.

Ab abholung waren es 4 Pausen,bis sich alle versammelt haben. Diese leuchtende Steine,der Weg nach oben fand ich sehr gefährlich., und es langsam dunkel wurde war es uns nicht möglich ganz nach oben zu gehen. Der Weg war nach unten war nicht beleuchtet, nicht jeder hat ein Handy zum leichten.

Auto sehr alt, keine Möglichkeit zum Anschnallen, Kein versprochener Sonnenuntergang. Ansonsten aber sehr spaßig. Super nette Fahrer.

War ein toller Ausflug. Olympus-Strand, sehr schön. Man läuft durch Sand deshalb für welche die nicht so gut gehen können nicht so ideal. Antike Stadt besichtigen nur kurz da die Zeit zu knapp. 1 Km Wanderung auf den Berg wo die Methangas-Feuer sind. 20 min. Berg hinauf und runter ist recht sportlich. 4x4 Tour durch den Wald sehr lustig und holperig. Restaurent auf dem Bach mit vielen Enten, habe ich noch nie gesehen. War eine tolle tur. Fazit: Nicht geeignet für Personen die nicht sportlich sin

Can't fault it. Beach was beautiful and plenty of time to relax or go to the ruins which was a bit extra. The chimeara mountain was stunning. Hard climb but well worth the effort . This was followed by a great drive through a off road section through a forest in the dark and ended in a beautiful restaurant situated in a canyon where the tables were surrounded by the river. A mention to our driver who was a lovely guy. I would genuinely do it again tomorrow.

Es war ein abwechslungsreicher Ausflug in einem eher ruhigen Badeurlaub. Der Olympusstrand ist ein schöner Ort aber aufgrund der Masse an Touristen , die da permanent hingefahren werden nichts sehenswertes. Der Aufstieg zu den ewigen Feuern ist sehr anstrengend , lohnt sich aber! Der Platz hat was magisches! Das leckere Abendessen haben wir in einer ganz urigen, liebevoll gestalteten Anlage eingenommen.

Es war zu viel in den Ausflug reingepackt. Man hatte für nichts Zeit. Vor allem der Weg zu den ewigen Feuern war fast lebensgefährlich und für für einen normalen Touristen kaum zu schaffen. Dann war man oben und musste auch fast gleich wieder runter, sonst hätte man die Abfahrt verpasst. Für das Abendessen war auch nur 30 min Zeit. Olympos war überhaupt nicht machbar, da Eintritt nur mit Karte oder Lira. Außerdem nicht genug Zeit. Schade.

There was no guide for the trip around the ruins. The hike up to the fire rocks should have had a warning about the steepness of the climb and that water should have been supplied before and after the hike. The off road track to the restaurant was exciting for my teenagers and probably the best part of the whole trip. The restaurant, although very well appointed, supplied a below average meal and drinks were on top. Would not recommend experience as value for money or worth while - sorry
