What to expect
Take a stroll along the floating platform located within The Dubai Fountain. The Dubai Fountain Boardwalk allows you to get closer than ever, giving you a whole new perspective on the captivating performances. You can start your journey from Burj Park or Fountain Promenade and stroll down the 272-metre boardwalk, with the closest point putting you only nine metres away from the fountains.A captivating water, music and light spectacle in Downtown Dubai, The Dubai Fountain is the world's tallest performing fountain. At over 900 ft in length – equivalent to over two football pitches – The Dubai Fountain is situated on the 30-acre Burj Lake and performs a selection of different melodies. The fountain has a unique design comprising five circles of varying sizes and two arcs and features powerful water nozzles that shoot water up to impressive heights.Over 6,600 WET Superlights and 25 colour projectors create a visual spectrum of over 1,000 different water expressions, while 50 colour projectors provide a full spectrum of colour with a total output of 1.5 million lumens. The fountain performs a range of different songs from classical to contemporary Arabic and world music.

Zeer leuk. De Fountain show is echt de moeite waard. Met toegang tot de boardwalk (een ponton op het water) kom je nog dichter bij en kan je in alle rust van de show genieten. Kleine opmerking: je moet de e-tickets omruilen voor papieren tickets bij de grote shop (At The Top, Burj Khalifa) op het gelijkvloers van de Dubai Mall. Dat was ons niet geheel duidelijk, ondanks de opmerking op onze voucher (er staat niet vermeld bij welke 'winkel').

Esperienza ottima! Arrivati al desk ci eravamo allarmati per la coda di persone, chiedendo alla reception invece abbiamo ricevuto i nostri biglietti in meno di un minuto. Organizzazione direi perfetta. Certo le fontane le si poteva guardare altrove, ma essere a pochi metri dai getti è stato stupendo

Det var svårt att förstå var man skulle hämta ut sina biljetter. Där behöver ni utveckla elektroniska biljetter som man får direkt i mobilen. Att första leta sig fram till biljettutlämningen, och sedan hitta själva entrén till Boardwalk var svårt. Otydlig och otillräcklig info kopplat till bokningen.

Stond vlak voor de fontein, verder was het niet zo bijzonder, je liep over een plastic brug, liep niet erg makkelijk. Aan het einde kon je er niet af, moest je helemaal teruglopen, dat was wel jammer.

Het hotel ligt ver van Dubai centrum. Er is maar 1 shuttlebus per dag en als je niet op voorhand reserveert kun je pech hebben. Gelukkig kost een taxi niet veel en kun je voor 20 a 30€ naar het centrum en/of terug.

We were told to go inside to pick up tickets and the people in the mall said no do we had to go back and forth but we finally saw the show but not the lasers. It was not clear that we would not see the lasers.
