What to expect
Cocoa, chocolate, cheese and sugar cane – these are just a few of the things you'll come face to face with on this full-day, culture-packed tour. You'll journey towards Imbert to learn about Geo Geo cheese, then pass through communities and farms.We'll kick things off with a scenic journey towards Imbert, passing through lots of small communities such as Maimon, to arrive at an artisan cheese factory. See how local Geo Geo cheese is made, then continue your foray into Dominican produce at Las Lajas where you'll visit a coffee plantation and cocoa farm.After a taster of Dominican chocolate, there's more to try over a typical lunch – with the full day option only. At La Piragua, you'll see how sugar cane is produced and visit a local's home where they make baskets and mats out of natural materials. A cigar factory tour will be next, followed by the fishing village of Maimon.

Die sicherheits gurte waren größtenteils defekt!! Erläuterungen waren großartig. Ich habe vorher gefragt, ob ich mit eingeschränkter Mobilität durch einen Bänderriss buchen kann - es waren lt. Meinen Schrittzähler 6km und mein Fuß war immens angeschwollen. Jede Station eine verkaufsveranstaltung … dafür dürfte die Tour etwas günstiger sein, auch wenn alles in allem den Preis wert war. Ein Flyer mit dem Inhalt der Tour wäre toll gewesen oder Infos mit Bildern bei der buchungsbestätigung.

Hat sich mehr nach einer Verkaufsfahrt angefühlt überall ging’s nur ums verkaufen,man hat wenig über Land und Leute erfahren,dasangebliche Haus einer Einheimischen (85 Jahre)war nichts weiter wie pure Zeitverschwendung.Muss man wirklich eine alte gebrechliche Frau so zur Schau stellen um ein bischen Geld zuverdienen dafür reicht mein Verständnis nicht

de ulike besøkte plassene var bra. godt servering med drikke underveis. vann,brus o.l trivelg sjåfør og kunnskapsrik guide, flerspråklig. minus: føles som litt "kjøpepress' veldig mye kommentarer ang kjøp. lunsjen var så som så. ved påmelding sto det at det sku være badestopp, som man så fram til,men det var det ikke. hadde drasset med seg unødvendig badetøy for dette.

The vehicle used to transport everyone from the Hotel to the activities was not adequate because in a rainy day like the day we have ours you could breathe and smell the toxic fumes of the vehicle the whole trip. It is unhealthy and unsafe.

Insgesamt eine sehr informative Tour. Allerdings steht der Verkauf von Produkten sehr im Fokus, was mich doch an eine Kaffeefahrt erinnert. Der Besuch einer Kaffeeplantage und ein Schwimmstopp, wie in der Beschreibung, gab es nicht

Tout était parfait. Alberto notre guide rt Juan notre chauffeur étaient très bien, très professionnels. Nous avons passé une une très belle et ********** journée et appris beaucoup de choses sur la culture dominicaine.

Die Tour war interessant und lehrreich, so daß auch wir als langjährige Besucher der DomRep noch etwas neues erfahren konnten. Leider wurde der Badeteil schon seit längerem komplett aus dem Programm gestrichen, so daß wir die Mitnahme der Badesachen uns hätten kpl. sparen können.

Het bezoeken van de cacaoplantage, koffie drinken bij locals, suikerrietsap proeven, lunch bij een lokaal restaurantje en de sigarenrollers waren allemaal top. De kaasfabriek was minder ons ding maar nog steeds interessant. De laatste stop aan een strandje was minder interessant omdat wij sowieso een strand aan ons hotel hadden. Het was wel een mooi strandje, maar het viel wel op dat de tourbegeleider ons enkel daarheen had gebracht om nog wat te verkopen.
