In a fun and friendly environment, discover how to make a selection of Dominican classics for a delightful culinary experience.It all kicks off with a warm Caribbean welcome by a local chef. They'll introduce you to the array of exotic fruits, vegetables, spices you'll be using. Then grab an apron and be ready to begin.Under the guidance of your seasoned pro, you'll prepare delicious dishes like Caribbean lobster, Dominican-style red snapper or 'Sancocho' – a traditional seven-meat stew. Work up an appetite learning new skills and you'll dine on your creations for dinner. Then adding that last dash of fun, you'll enjoy some post-feast entertainment.Thursdays - Caribbean Lobster delight Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays - Chillo Coco - Coconut Dominican style Red Snapper Tuesdays - Tipsy Sancocho of 7 meats (Sancocho is the most traditional local dish, like a stew)

Hele leuke kookworkshop met een super leuke chef. Wij waren maar met 2 personen dus dat was wel jammer. Maar we kregen daardoor wel alle aandacht. Vanuit het hotel werden we voor de deur afgezet bij een pand waar meerdere workshops worden gegeven. Tevens was er een grote winkel met allerlei producten en souvenirs. Uiteraard mag je na afloop nog rondkijken (en kopen). Als je weer naar buiten komt staat de taxi van de heenweg al op je te wachten om je naar het hotel te brengen. Top geregeld.

À l’hôtel seul petit souci le buffet chaud ne l’était pas. Le reste me paraissait très satisfaisant. Deuxième petit souci, dans l’avion j’avais réservé deux places siège confort avec forcément un supplément de prix là nous avons etait fortement déçu on s’attendait à un peu plus d’espace hors nous étions squatté. Pour le reste tout était impeccable

Roodie, our personal chef, was personable, warm, and kind. We made delicious rice with veggies, tostinos, and red salmon in a coconut milk sauce with vegetables. It tasted as good as it looked! Thank you, Roodie!
