Discover the land of the Kaurna people, the traditional owners of the Adelaide region. Join the local elders to discover the joys of weaving in this private, interactive workshop.This experience will give you the opportunity to discover traditional basket weaving, an integral skill to the First Nations people of Australia used in the creation of baskets, jewellery, and nets.Engage in Kaurna culture by practicing the skills and techniques used in the art of traditional weaving, whilst creating your own souvenir to take home. Explore the authentic gift shop and art gallery after the experience.
