What to expect
Get ready for an authentic experience by riding through the Hurghada desert on a quad bike. Combine your experience with breathtaking desert views and a break for a local tea as you ride through the sands under blue skies.Get with your driver to the quad bike station to receive information about riding and about your safety, then proceed with a test ride to familiarize yourself with the vehicle. Put on your goggles and scarf, and begin your experience by riding your quad bike in the desert for about 45 minutes! Then, settle down in a Bedouin camp to quench your thirst, rest, and learn about desert culture by enjoying Egyptian tea. Resume riding your bike for another 45 minutes until you return to the quad bike station.Live a unique experience of living in the desert surrounded by nature!

Goggles and scarves are not included, but they are available at the quad station for around 5 euros per piece. Payment in cash in local or foreign currencies (EUR, USD, GBP, or CHF)
Know in advance:
It's not advised to wear jewellery during the trip
Please wear a casual outfit covering your legs, and bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, cameras, bottles of water, and some cash money

Shorts, flip-flops, hats and contact lenses are not preferred in this activity

Coole quadtour durch die Wüste. Man muss bedenken, dass die Kleidung danach wahrscheinlich entsorgt werden muss. Mein Foto hab ich leider nicht bekommen, aus welchen Gründen weiss ich leider nicht. Leider verkaufsveranstaltung dabei.

Mitarbeiter waren Top!!! Quads waren teilweise kaputt, beim Fahren flog der Helm auf einmal in mehrere Teile und davon, viel zu hohe Geschwindigkeit, wenn man lange Hosen trägt sind sie vom Motor verbrannt, trägt man kurze Hosen sind die Beine mit Verbrennungen gezeichnet, Abzocke wo man hin schaut im Fake Beduinendorf, man soll überall ********** kaufen und der Ausflug dauerte insgesamt 7 Stunden anstelle 3-4 wie angegeben

Das ganze war mehr eine Verkaufsvorstellung und betteln um Trinkgeld. Der versprochene Spaß begann mit alten ranzigen Helmen und nicht sonderlich gut gewarteten Quads. Danach mussten wir in Reihe und Glied 45 Minuten durch die Wüste fahren. Ständig wurden Fotos gemacht, was soweit ok ist. Dann kam man im "Beduienendorf" an. Dort gab es einen winzigen Schluss Tee aus versifften Keramiktassen. Der "kurze" Kamelritt, der gar nicht ausgeschrieben war, bestand aus 100 Meter vor und zurück.

Once we reached the tea tasting I was horrified by one of the camels health, the head collar of the camel was rubbing and cutting into the camels face which had left a open wound that was being left untreated. I told staff but they did not care. I’m am absolutely horrified and cannot stress enough the poor condition and welfare of the camel. I want a formal response as I will reporting the welfare of those camels.

Cannot recommend this experience enough! Even if you struggle to control the quad bikes, the staff are amazing, and will drive it for you if needed (with you on the back). Our other friend could not stop smiling. It was the highlight of his week! Do this if you can! :D

Very brief explanation of how to start the quad then a few laps on flat sand before our trip began. Remainder of the trip was very bumpy & rocky ground at speed. If you have any prior back injuries-avoid this excursion. Sales pitches throughout - googles, photos, Bedouin items. Temperamental staff.

Der Guide während des Ausfluges hat nur englisch gesprochen sodass ich nur wenig mitbekommen habe. Der deutsche Guide ist während der Hinfahrt mit dem Bus zum Quadcamp an einem anderen Hotel ausgestiegen (Tausch). Die Rückfahrt von den Beduinen war viel zu schnell. Ich hatte stellenweise durch die Geschwindigkeit keine richtige Kontrolle über das Quad.

The quad bikes left most people questioning why they had booked it, and whether they would require back surgery in the near future due to the bumpy and quite frankly awful ride. It’s a 45 minute ride across sand, to a fake Bedouin camp that feels more like a sales exercise than learning anything about the tribe. Countless envelopes were passed round for tips, and you felt obliged to tip as the staff were standing over you. Our recommendation is to avoid at all costs.

It has been a great morning! Driving at high speed through the Sahara is a bucketlist thing. Some people in the reviews complain that the quads are old but I disagree. They drive daily in the sand and rough conditions, you cannot expect an out of the box quad. It did greatly its job! Staff are friend and begg less for tips than an american waiter. I was bot really interested in their tourist trap (their pharmacy) but understand they also need to make a living. All in all i highly recommend!

Schlechtestes Erlebnis mit TUI jemals: Bei der ersten Abholung wurde uns die falsche Zeit genannt, weshalb wir auf Nachmittag verschoben wurde. Der Busfahrer war freundlich und zuverlässig. Alles andere war miserabel: unglaublich lange Wartezeiten (statt 3h dauerte es über 6h), Personal beim Quadfahren sehr aufdringlich, forderte vehement Trinkgeld. Quads waren in katastrophalen Zustand. Das Dorf war eine reine Verkaufsveranstaltung, Guide war weder kompetent noch freundlich. Finger weg!

Eigentlich schöne Tour aber ein dickes Minus für die Strecke. 2 Stunden nur durchgeschüttelt worden. Wer noch keine Probleme mit dem Rücken hatte, hat dann garantiert welche.

Die Quads waren in einem schlechten Zustand. Bei mir war der Lenker schief. Bei meiner Tochter tropfte jaus Ihrem Quad heißes Öl an Ihr Bein. Sie bekam zwar sofort ein anderes Quad nach dem Sie es in der Pause gesagt hat aber schön ist es trotzdem nicht. Deswegen bei Sicherheit nur wenig Punkte.

The quad biking was great fun. The Tour Guide and all the staff around the experience were very friendly. The Camel ride was great although very short would have preferred a little longer ride on the camel.

Coole Quadtour durch die Wüste. Zu Anfang eine kurze Einweisung und dann ging es schon los. Im Beduinenlager durfte man auch kurz aufs Kamel sitzen. Lediglich der Kameramann war meiner Meinung nach etwas lästig, da man ständig Posen auf dem Quad machen sollte für das Foto u. Film Material danach, welches ich sowieso nicht kaufen wollte (20€ auch sehr teuer pro Person). Der Daumen schmerzt danach zwar durch das Gas geben beim Quad, aber das gehört nunmal dazu. Kleines Trinkgeld wird erwartet.

The quad bike was great and would recommend, amazing experience but very bumpy as a warning. The middle part was not. Toilets are broken, dirty, holes in doors or the toilet just missing). The camels also don't seem well treated saw one being hit repeatedly and some in a very small pen.

Also die Quadfahrt an sich ist etwas anstrengend aber ganz gut. Man gibt bei den Quads mit dem Daumen Gas, das tut nach einer Zeit weh. Mir ist der Guide etwas zu schnell gefahren, das hat mich etwas gestresst. Und wie so vieles hier, versuchen die Ägypter möglich viel Geld zu machen. Es werden permanent Fotos gemacht, die man danach kaufen kann. Im Beduinen Camp (reine Tourieinrichtung) wollten sie natürlich auch verkaufen.

Es war einige Zeit lang eher eine Verkaufsveranstaltung anstatt ein Erlebnis. Transfer ca. 1 Stunde zu lange. Quad fahren war super hätte länger sein müssen nicht nur 40 min hin und 43 min zurück, schneller manchmal und mehr auf und ab so kleine Hügel wäre super gewesen. Sicherheit war aber Top gute Quads Gute Helme
