What to expect
Experience Salzburg in the best way possible by visiting the historic Hohensalzburg Fortress with a combined menu and a "Best of Mozart" concert. Take the funicular up to the fortress from where you will be able to enjoy a breathtaking view of Salzburg.Spoil yourself with a romantic dinner at the Panorama Restaurant with an unforgettable view. Afterwards, experience the concert in the historic atmosphere of either the Golden Hall/Arms Hall/Castle Hall with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's most famous chamber music.You can choose from the following dinner and concert options available in the order box:
- Category 1: numbered seats and dinner
- Category 2: non-numbered seats and dinner
- VIP: numbered seats and VIP dinner
- Golden VIP: includes everything in the VIP option plus a pre-dinner aperitif and included drinks with dinner (wine, water, and coffee)
Depending on the option, you can look forward to the following delicious menus (subject to change):Classic Dinner Menu:
- Mini bread rolls with 2 different spreads
- Consommé of beef with semolina dumpling
- Filled turkey roulade supreme with truffle-mashed potatoes and fruity sauce
- Mozart dessert
VIP Dinner Menu:
- Mini bread rolls with 2 different spreads
- White wine soup with roasted Marcona almonds
- Braised veal "Tafelspitz" from local grass-fed veal with port wine sauce on potato gratin and creamy spinach OR Salzburger trout fillet "Müllerin Art" with parsley potatoes
- Salzburger Nockerl - fluffy egg soufflé with vanilla cream and berries

What to remember
Accessibility:
Unfortunately, this activity is not suitable for people with reduced mobility
Golden Hall is not accessible for people with reduced mobility (many steps, no elevator)
Know in advance:
January, February, March, April, September, October, November and December: ascent to the fortress by funicular from 5.30 pm, dinner at 6.00 pm, concert at 8.00 pm. May, June, July and August: ascent to the fortress by funicular from 6.00 pm, dinner at 6.30 pm, concert at 8.30 pm
Private tables in the restaurant are allocated according to the number of guests booked. Weather permitting, the VIP dinner will be served on the panoramic terrace
Please address vegetarian/vegan/allergy requests directly to the service staff in the restaurant
Please note that the restaurant only accepts payment by credit card (Visa or Mastercard)
Please take the included funicular/cable car; do NOT walk up or down

Meeting point:
Please take the cable car up to the fortress starting 30 minutes before dinner. The entrance to the station is at Festungsgasse 4 in Salzburg. Dinner and concert take place at Fortress Hohensalzburg, Mönchsberg 34 in Salzburg.

Ein toller Abend mit sehr gutem Essen, zuvorkommendem Personal. Auch das Konzert war sehr schön, gute Liedauswahl und Musiker, denen man die Freude beim Spielen anmerkte.

From the ascent to the fortress to the end of the evening it was a night to remember. Our waiter explained all our options on the VIP menu and the food did not disappoint. The concert was a small intimate room and the orchestra was of the highest quality. The pianist showed her love for the piece

Super freundlicher, lustiger Empfang. Sehr professionelle, freundliche Bedienung, das Essen war sehr gut, allerdings fehlte ein Salat und ausreichend Gemüse. Der große Herr aus Vorarlberg war äusserst freundlich und herzlich. Der Herr beim Empfang hat sofort mit seinem Schmäh für gute Laune gesorgt. Konzert war ebenfalls sehr professionell und beeindruckend, da nicht nur Mozart gespielt wurde. Der erste Geiger war außergewöhnlich gut! 👍

Dinner was very good.
Concert was disappointing. Paid for Tier 1 seats but we were seated right at the back to the side so the view was poor.
Orchestra played very few Mozart pieces. Felt disappointed at the end of the evening.

A fantastic evening - dinner in the fortress restaurant (with incredible views over Salzburg and the Bavarian Alps) followed by a marvellous concert. Wonderful!

Tutto piacevole e ben organizzato. Cibo buono, ma il vino presentato come unica opzione nel menù (un tipo di bianco, un rosso) non era disponibile, e ci hanno portato un'altra bottiglia "Jakobi Sauvignon Blanc" CON TAPPO A VITE, prezzo su Vivino 17€, pagato a "FESTUNGS-GASTRONOMIE" €42, eccessivo.
