I undertook this trip with a young family. There was a walk from the coach into town where the festival took place. There was no pavement and heading kids along a road with traffic and other pedestrians on was not ideal. When we reached the centre the crowds were much larger than expected so we could see very little. We were told to use loos at restaurants., which had no water and the public loos were vile. We returned to the coach, but we had a great time waiting in a bar enjoying fireworks.

The actual festival was great but the trip advertised and provided by TUI was very disappointing. Advertised as a Tour and with 2 TUI tour guides I expected just that! We were picked up and driven to Zakinthos and dropped off. The TUI tour guide read detail of the festival from her notes, she couldn't pronounce half of the details but told us about 10 times we would be picked up at 11pm. There was NO tour and they were not tour guides! Local bus cost €2 each, this cost €20 each. Not worth it.

Trevliga guider och bra transfer. Informera gärna kommande gäster att ska de äta på restaurang så gör det direkt. I princip omöjligt att få ett bord någonstans senare på kvällen. Galet lång väntetid. Annorlunda upplevelse, men lite väl trångt och stökigt för min del.

De activiteit was leuk, maar was op eigen gelegenheid, geen juiste informatie. Een gids die zo hard liep en niemand in de gaten hielt en ook nog eens op de bestemming ter plaatste zo weg was. Bovendien de prijs duur ten opzichte van andere aanbieders met wel een betere begeleiding.

I er beskrivning skriver ni höjdpunkter, i tidigare resenärers rekommendationer beskrivs en båttur. Den omnämns även av er guide Maria på information om resan. Det är falsk marknadsföring att beskriva det på 2 ställen och att man sen inte får reda på var man kan göra det. Ser man hela informationen kan man även tolka det som att den kommer arrangeras av Tui. Det bör tas bort och ej marknadsföra en båttur om det ej är aktuellt för resan. För mycket betalt för denna korta tur.

Pick up both ways was on time. Guide give good background on festival on bus en route. Walk route to festival was clear and easy to follow on return. Festival itself was interesting and fireworks were fantastic. Market was a bit patchy mostly fake goods and animals in cages which did not appear to be in healthy condition. Only problem was reps lost passenger list for return journey which caused a short delay checking numbers. Luckily driver had a printed copy which was used as a register

Tour guide took us to the church then disappeared,no mention of where to find them in case of difficulties. Everywhere we went was o lying open for food not just drinks,found a little bar where we could get a drink and all the tui staff were there. On return to the coach the map and QR code was wrong location.

The festival it’s self was absolutely amazing and the fire work display was out of this world but TUIs side of this was less than satisfactory the reps raced off left us with no information other than a piece of paper and a bus a number they didn’t show us where to find the the TUI reps and information on what was going on and where things was non-existent very overwhelming over all, not what I expected/was sold

Virkelig flot arrangement og fejring af de lokale. Men alt for mange mennesker på et alt for lille areal. Så flere blive dårlige. Meget svært at få plads på en restaurant. Men alt i alt meget imponerende med alle de handlende, lokale, bådene i havnen osv.

Pinsamt att ta betalt denna summa för bussresa på under 5 min, mindre än 2km, för att sen promenera extremt fort och ostrukturerat (guiden tappade stor del av gruppen så man fick chansa) i 20 min. Vad har vi betalat för? Guiden berättade mycket kort om högtiden under den mycket korta bussresan. Så vi har betalat för <5 min bussresa och sedan kort info på 2 språk under den korta bussresan, med andra ord ca 2 min info. Sen va bussen mycket sen vid upphämtningen, riktigt riktigt dåligt!

The procession and the fireworks were phenomenal. Staff should have taken names when guests got on bus; the delay was exceptionally hot and uncomfortable. The trip was too long, and it would have been better to get the coach back an hour earlier. Very difficult to find somewhere for drinks; with the amount of guests, could TUI book a space in a taverna for arrival in Zante town? TUI Guides IN Zante town were excellent.

I do feel that the Rep should have been given a dry run through on the route from where the bus was parked to the church rather than being told that morning and having to rely on google maps. This is a once a year festival with many reps never having attended one. Also the directions to the information/meet point for the boat trip were very vague. However having said that Matt did a fantastic job and we had a great time/

Trip overall was great though cost for travelling there & back on the bus was pretty high. Others booked their own bus for a fraction of the price. Also, there weren’t many bathroom facilities to speak of in the area so it was a bit ‘precarious’, our guide & other TUI staff at the meeting point were really friendly, helpful. The fireworks were awesome. It was a lovely night but the heat with virtually no ‘cover’ and lack of usable toilet facilities in the town did make it uncomfortable.

Es war ein Tolles Erlebnis mit total netten TUI Guides. Wir hätten uns etwas mehr Infos in Deutsch erwünscht. Der Guide war super nett hat aber nur Englisch gesprochen uns das leider mit ziemlichen Dialekt (Schottland?) Das war etwas schwierig zu verstehen. Ansonsten ein tolles Erlebnis.

It was a good opportunity to experience a local festival. Matt the rep was very informative thanks matt. However as a mother and daughter together on the trip we felt we should have met at the main church and walked back to the bus all together. We didn't feel safe walking back to the bus on our own. Also...the fireworks finisheded at 10 and we had another hour and a half before we left we felt too long a wait. The fire works were excellent. Thank you.

Båtturen kunne vært bedre beskrevet da det knapt var en båttur, da båten kun plasserte seg ute i havnebassenget. Videre var guidene var dårlige på å gi felles informasjon, samt at guidene ga ulik informasjon, dette spesielt etter ankomst til Zante.

We did the trip and the boat viewing it was quite simply " incredible" and an absolute must see. The local community are so friendly and the market is the best we have ever visited.

The festival was great but the cancellation of the fireworks was unfortunate as we promised the children we would see them from the boat. Hanging around the harbour for an hour or so was very disappointing.

Overall the trip was ok. Firstly, where the coach dropped us off too far away from Zante town and I found the walk difficult especially the walk back. Secondly, there was a lot of waiting around in very hot temperatures to board the boat and the TUI staff from our coach didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Another TUI lady took control. Thirdly, the fireworks that we were meant to view from the boat had been cancelled by the Greek authorities, we were not told until we had boarded.

Was an awful trip. Had a long walk when we got off the bus. Across roads, dangerous really. There were no fire works and we were only told once we were on the boat sailing around the harbour in the dark. Was told to go to meeting point after the boat. Waited half an hour for reps. Then made our way to the bus our self's. Was not worth the money we paid for it. Very disappointed

Dat het vuurwerk niet doorging vanwege brandgevaar en/of empathie met actuele branden is voor een ieder overmacht. Echter door de Tui leiding ter plekke had men anders kunnen besluiten: niet ronddobberen op de boot, gratis drankje en de bussen eerder beschikbaar te hebben voor terugreis

There were 3 major defects with this. 1. Bus pick up was at the most busy and dangerous junction in Tsilivi. Nobody knew in advance which side of the road to wait on, or which bus number, and we had to cross the road with a toddler several times - stressful! 2. Guidance stated wheelchair inaccessible. There should have been more clarity that it IS suitable for a child's pushchair. 3. Tell us the fireworks were cancelled before departing on the boat and allow us the choice of staying on land!

De boot gekozen om het vuurwerk te zien maar niets gezien. Voordat we vertrokken met de boot ging het vuurwerk af, waarbij wij hier voor op de boot niets van hebben kunnen zien. Vooral de kinderen waren teleurgesteld. Je kunt niet voor vuurwerk kiezen en er dan niets van zien, ondanks dat er nog een stuk werd gevaren. Tui is hier ook niet op terug gekomen.

Airco in de bus stond niet asn met 36 o/c, vuurwerk ging niet door ivm kans oo bosbranden op zich logisch, dit was bekend op de boot nadat het testvuurwerk werd afgestoken. Hierna nog ruim een half uur in de haven gelegen voordat de boot vertrok: had dan de mensen de keuze gegeven om weer naar het feest in de stad te gaan! Of aan boord te blijven en nog 1 1/2 uur naar een oer saai donkere gat te kijken. Zeker geen aanrader.

We had booked the festival and fireworks, sadly the fireworks were cancelled as we left the harbour. We were left bobbing about for an hour or so, with 6 very unhappy children, it would have been better if we could have disembarked and spent more time ashore , amongst the festivities.

It was all very good to experience the celebration with local Zante people. Trawled the market, had some local food and enjoyed watching the procession and fireworks from the harbour. A lovely experience all round.

It was such a moving experience to see some of Zante's history. Fireworks were tremendous, rep was brilliant. The walk from the bus to the harbour was quite long, which didn't bother me as enjoy walking but for some of the older people may have been a bit of a struggle.

Vuurwerk was mooi. Ons is verteld dat de tocht eerst langs de haven zou gaan. Wij zijn langs de haven gaan staan maar hier kwam de tocht pas op het laats en tegen die tijd moesten we alweer op de boot zijn. Wij hebben hier dus Niks van gezien!!!!
