Guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Enjoyed all the tour had to offer. I would maybe suggest swapping the salt lakes to the last stop in the trip as it slightly uncomfortable in the botanical gardens, couldn’t apply sun cream so ended up getting burnt

Insgesamt war es ein sehr schöner Ausflug. Unsere Reiseleiterin war echt super. Guter Busfahrer und klimatisierter Bus. Was enttäuschend war, war das Blue Eye Cave. Nicht spektakulär. Wir hatten das Mittagessen mit Languste gebucht, dieses hat 20€ pro Person mehr gekostet. Leider war es das Geld nicht wert. Kleine Languste, kaum Fleisch und trocken.

Without a doubt, this was the best experience we have booked with you! The guide Entonio (?) was absolutely riveting with his stories of the island, and even when he was just playing music, he was still entertaining us. The trip was well organised, not rushed, we never felt pressured and were able to absorb the different aspects of the trip. The food provided was really good and the location superb. Don’t change anything, and DON’T LOSE your guide!!!

Our guide really made our experience- if we enjoyed our time with him Ramiro is an experience on his own. I would pay just to have him with us for the day. Some other guides ( not tui ) didn’t give the same experience as we definitely had with Ramiro. Double his salary.

The tour guide Tony and his driver are amazing ! Tony is so knowledgeable about the island giving us lots of interesting information and facts, in an appropriate, friendly and fun manner, about the culture, local history, financial climate, education, trade, food and much more including football of course ! We really enjoyed the day! The only thing that was not good was the ice cream at the restaurant! Thank you for a great day !

Die Stationen wurden alle angefahren, es war meist auch genügend Zeit. Am 'Blue Eye' hätte die Zeit länger sein können, um die Anlage mehr erkunden zu können, Besuch eines wohl obligatorischen Souvenirladen in Palmeira informativ, was sind typische Souvenirs der CV plus Info, aber die Preise waren höher als in Santa Maria. Also Achtung! Essen top. Salinen top! Botanischer Garten top. Inselhauptstadt kann man auslassen - nicht spannend, schön oder mit Wow-Effekt. Unser Guide Philippa war super.

Die Ganztages Tour auf Sal hat uns sehr gefallen. Philipa hat uns sehr viel über die Geschichte der Kap Verden erzählt, über die Kultur und wir konnten ein Eindruck gewinnen wie die Leute dort leben. Das Baden im Salzsee war ein Erlebnis! Es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht mit der Philipa - toller Guide! Diese Tour muss man gemacht haben wenn man auf Sal ist.

Tony was our guide, he was amazing and so Knowledgeable of his Island, we learnt so much about the life and culture of Cabo Verde. The stops we made were great, we got to see the blue eye which was awesome, floating in the salt lake was a surreal experience and worth doing. The meal was lovely, we had such a great day and would recommend it, 10 stars from us ✨️

Leuke trip om heel het eiland en de meeste mooie en interessante locaties in een keer te zien. Service is top, ook het eten en drinken onderweg. Reisleidster was super. Enige puntje wat ik zou aanpassen is het zwemmen in het zoutmeer. Dit zou ik als laatste activiteit plannen omdat men daarna moe en "vol met" zout zit.

Only issues was we waited to long to see the blue eye.. we were sat waiting for our number for atleast 30/45mins. Finally getting to see the blue eye, the viewing point felt really unsafe as small slip meant you could fall. Apart from this the rest of Experiance was great

Filipa unsere Reiseleiterin war einfach wunderbar! Highlight war für mich der Salzsee! (Vielleicht könnte man den botanischen Garten an den Anfang der Rundfahrt setzen, damit man mit dem Salzsee als Highlight endet und dann auch sofort danach unter die Dusche kann 😄

Overall, the trip was a great way to see the best of what Sal had to offer - lived up to what Kelly your rep within the Melia Tortuga Beach Resort & Spa described. Only downside was the brief visit to the picturesque village of Palmeira which wasn't that as picturesque as we were led to believe. We could have spent the extra time at the Buracona lagoon where there was a lot to see, and the local guide were very helpful taking pictures of the "eye" for my wife who has slight mobility issues.

Die Rundfahrt ist sehr zu empfehlen. Man kann sich ein umfassendes Bild von der Insel Sal machen. Die Reiseleiterin Philipa ist sehr freundlich und kompetent. Der Höhepunkt ist der Salzsee in einem Krater.

DIE Tour war sehr interessant und gut erklärt durch Filippa. Sie hat sehr kurzweilig erzählt. Mann hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt auch danke an den Busfahrer. Wir hatten eine nette Truppe und auch die Langusten sind eine Empfehlung wert. Also es war ein gelungener Tag und wir können es sehr weiterempfehlen

The guide we had is really invested in his job, he knows everything about Cabo Verde and the history of Sal Island. His knowledge was brilliant and he is so enthusiastic about his job and showing off Cabo Verde to everyone possible

Für uns hätte es kein aufwendiges Essen sein müssen. Darüber hätte man sicher das Angebot etwas günstiger halten können. Ansonsten eine sehr schöne Tour mit einem super Guide!

Tony was a fantastic and entertaining guide and we spent the whole day exploring the Sal island, seen many little towns and villages, fata morgana and Salt Lake dip was amazing parts of the trip. Lobster lunch was very tasty and finished the day with visit to a little farm/zoo. Left the trip with lobely souvenir of a little clay turtle which was very thoughtful. Would 100% recommend to anyone whi wants to explore the island of Sal in its fullness.

Our guide Clovis was friendly, warm and witty and full of great knowledge. We felt very well looked after. We loved learning all about the island and its history and felt safe and comfortable the entire time. There were a good amount of stops included to make you feel like you had gotten your money’s worth but without feeling rushed around - the island motto ‘no stress’ really shone through and we had a brilliant day. Would definitely recommend!

Hotel rep Yashna was very helpful. Guide Lucy was knowledgeable of all areas but bus arrived late . Botanical garden was in poor state . Food Market was irrelevant . Salt Lake was good but unsuitable changing area & dirty. Best part was the Blue Eye. Paid extra for lobster but it was overcooked. Definitely NOT V. I. P. & not value for money compared to other tours available .
