Firstly the initial offer said the tour had a duration of of 2 hours when the ticket arrived it stated 90 minutes. The initial offer also stated price per person but the ticket stated that I had to pay for three tickets as that was the capacity of the Tukxi. Incidentally 3 average sized adults would be most uncomfortable in the Tukxi so I think that this is a scam to hike the price. This is misrepresentation as you TUI should be more transparent with your offer!

Abholung am hotel, klappte super .Direkt sehr freundlich Begrüßung. Die Fahrerin L. war sehr freundlich nett und hat uns mit eingebunden in die Tour, dazu bekamen wir super Tipps für Restaurant, Bars ,Orte . Mit der Sprache klappte sehr gut und war unkompliziert . Danke für tolle und lehrreiche Stunden durchs Fischerdorf und funchal. Danke

We very much enjoyed our Tuk Tuk tour of Funchal. It was a great way to get an overall view of the city so we could plan where we would like to visit. My wife has some mobility issues so this really helped us decide where was accessible

Die Zeit mit unserem sympathischen Guide Jup verging wie im Flug. Pünktlich holte er uns von unserem Hotel ab. Wir haben viel über Madeira, besonders über Funchal erfahren und viele interessante Stellen entdecken können. So erhielten wir an unserem ersten Urlaubstag einen kleinen Eindruck von der Insel.

We loved the freedom of the tour. As we had seen some sights they changed route to take us places we hadn't seen including a madeiran wine tasting. Really enjoyable and next time we visit Funchal will do the toboggan ride with them. You see the city from a completely different perspective. Lydia excellent guide.

A great way to see the old town of Funchal especially as the tuk tuk can get into narrow places which a taxi cannot. The only criticism is that the guides voice is too often drowned out by the engine noise. It would be really good if the guide and the guests were able to communicate via headsets /microphones and then it would be 10/10 for every part.

Sehr schöne Tour durch Funchal. Vorteil an einem Sonntag: wenig Verkehr in der Stadt und somit konnten wir sehr viele kleine Gassen abfahren. An Kirchen etc. öfters Halt, um hineinzugehen. Unser Guide Mark hat viel erklärt, als Deutscher natürlich in fließendem Deutsch. Er war super! Leider war das Tukxi nicht elektrisch und somit sehr laut, was die Erklärungen während der Fahrt manchmal schwierig zu verstehen machte.

Man wurde gemütlich durch viele interessante Punkte in Funchal gefahren und erfuhr schon einmal sehr viel über Madeira und deren Hauptstadt. So konnte man schon mal sehen, welche Ziele man vielleicht noch einmal selbst ansteuern könnte, um das Ganze dann zu vertiefen. Der Guide war super nett , sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Also Topp das Ganze!??

Wir waren gefühlt das einzige Tukxi unterwegs in Funchal an diesem Sonntagnachmittag. Schuld war sicher nicht der Regen, sondern dass fast alle Besichtigungsstädten, die TUI benennt sonntags geschlossen sind, ausgenommen Parks und Forte de Sao Tiago. Wir hatten eine deutschsprachige Tour gebucht; der durchaus freundliche Guide gab sich Mühe, informierte aber in einem Mix aus Niederländisch, Englisch und dem Versuch Deutsch zu sprechen. Dadurch sind eine Reihe an Informationen verloren gegangen.

Our 1st visit to Madeira, and 2nd day here, so we wanted an early personal tour of Funchal to help us find our way around and identify places to return visit. Our guide was very friendly and informative,, and he adjusted the tour to our wishes. We saw parts of the cobbled old town we wouldn’t have found walking around on our own. Comfortable ride and a fun excursion.

Bijna twee uren zijn we rondgereden in Funchal. We hebben ook plekken gezien waar we anders nooit zouden zijn gekomen. We mochten aangeven waar we afgezet wilden worden. De chauffeur gaf ons informatie en geschiedenis over Funchal. Het was super! Tip: Geef bij de informatie direct de prijs aan per 2 personen of 3 personen. Want je betaalt ook voor de chauffeur.

Das über die TUI-App gebuchte Tukxi kam nicht und leider konnte TUI nicht weiterhelfen im Chat. Mitarbeiter vor Ort oder Rückrufnr. gibt es von TUI nicht, niemand an den man sich wenden kann. Rezeption unseres hervorragenden Hotels konnte Kontakt mit Tukxi herstellen und die Sachlage klären plus Alternativtermin vereinbaren (Fahrzeug war kurzfristig defekt). TUI-Service ist leider hier sehr schlecht!

Einziger Minuspunkt: Abholung hat mit deutlicher Verspätung und erst auf Nachfrage durch die Rezeption stattgefunden. Dafür gab es eine Fahrt zum Pico do Barreiros. Sehr schöne Tour durch die komplette Altstadt mit vielen Tipps und Hintergrundinfos. Sehr nette und kompetente Fahrerin / Führerin.

Super war, dass man hiermit auch die engen Gassen in Funchal durchfahren kann und dies im Cabrio. Geeignet auch für gehbehinderte. Noch besser wäre vielleicht, wenn es hinten eine Vorrichtung gäbe, die es ermöglicht einen Rollstuhl mitzunehmen.

Das Angebot hat mir nicht gefallen. Pro Person 20 Euro heißt für mich, wenn ich 2 Personen buche 40 Euro, wir mussten aber für ein Tukxi 60 bezahlen. Wie 3 Personen auf die Rückbank passen sollen ist mir schleierhaft. Unser Guide war sehr nett, aber wusste leider auf viele Fragen keine Antworten. Man kann auf diese Weise viel von Funchal sehen, das hat uns sehr gefallen.

For some reason, TUI only allows you to book this in multiples of 3 passengers. This was a shame as we were 4 adults and one of us couldn’t come. Furthermore, the tuk tuk is really designed for 2 people. It’s a squeeze with 3 and not the most comfortable ride. TUI you need to sort this out. Nevertheless, our guide was delightful: really knowledgeable, we felt safe and she was very friendly. I think her name was Nidha.

Eine sehr gute Alternative die nähere Umgebung Funchals zu entdecken. Mit dem Tuktuk kommt man durch Gebiete die mit einem Bus nie fahrbar wären. Unser Fahrer war sehr gut und nett und hat uns viele Sehenswürdigkeiten gezeigt. Sehr zu empfehlen.
