You'll get up-close to more than 300 marine species in Poema del Mar aquarium, drive through the green valley of Guayadeque and tuck into a light lunch before wrapping things up with free time in the colonial town of Agüimes. Miguel, one of our local guides, says, ‘There's so much packed into one day. But for me, the most interesting part is Guayadeque, which represents a very important part of our prehistory.'First up is one of the most popular attractions in Las Palmas. With panoramic curved windows and countless exhibitions, Poema del Mar is where you'll get lost in a hypnotic underwater world that's home to hundreds of sea creatures. There are electric eels, bull sharks and fish that look just like Nemo. You can also take advantage of their state-of-the-art cinema, showcasing hourly screenings of interesting and fun short films.Next, you'll journey through the island's greenest corner to Guayadeque Canyon. It's famed for its cave homes, which the ancient aborigines built in lava bubbles, and winding hiking trails. After exploring, you'll refuel with delicious traditional tapas made from locally sourced ingredients. Then it's on to Agüimes, where you'll have some free time to wander through this pastel-coloured parish perched above the green ravine of Guayadeque. You can see the elegant church, stop for a coffee in a local café or take some selfies by the town's many statues.

Het mooiste van deze excursie was voor ons het poema del mar aquarium. Niet echt een vriendelijk reisleidster was bij de lunch zelf zo bezig om mensen de eetzaal in te krijgen dat zij zelf een gezin kwijt was . Deze schoven zelfs een kwartier later aan dit kan echt niet !!!!.

Die Tour war an und für sich schön allerdings ist sie mit mindestens 8 Stunden ausgeschrieben. Und wir waren schon nach 6 Stunden wieder im hotel. In der Schlucht waren noch 15 Minuten Aufenthalt nach dem Essen und für Aguimes 40 Minuten. Das war einfach zu wenig. Wir wurden da durchgeschleust. Schade das wäre sonst ein schöner Tag gewesen. Wir hatten uns sehr geärgert

Aquarium super. Geen Nederlandse gids terwijl dat werd aangegeven. Bij de bergen was bij uitstappen vd bus iedereen weg, ook bus reed weg. Maar gaan wandelen. Weer terug, zien we de gids eten. Iedereen zat in een achterzaal te eten. Ze had ons gezocht. Waarom wachte ze niet op bij het uitstappen. Bij de volgende stop was veel plezier en die tijd terug zijn. Toen kregen we een klapband. De chauffeur bleef doorrijden. Bij stop ff kijken en doorgaan met kapotte band. Ik was doodsbang niet normaal

De excursie was mooi en leerzaam. Het enige minpuntje is dat wij de gids in de bus niet konden verstaan, niet omdat het in het Engels was maar hij praatte heel zacht door de microfoon en super snel en dat was jammer.

Das Aquarium war sehr schön sehenswert. Die Fahrt in das Höhlendorf war schön , nur leider war die Zeit nach den Tapas , Wein und Wasser zu kurz etwas mehr von der Gegend zu sehen. Sonst sehr beeindruckend.

The activity in general it’s great, the aquarium is amazing the lunch was good and Agüimes is beautiful. The bad part was that the bus broke down and we stayed 30 minutes less in Aguimes which I didn’t like it was supposed to be 1 hour why stay less because the bus didn’t start. The guide was friendly but not too enthusiastic and happy about the tour. But aguimes was beautiful it’s a pity we stayed only 30 mins

Nicht gefallen hat. Man konnte den Guide sehr schwer verstehen auf Deutsch. Die Abfertigung im Restaurant war auch nicht perfekt. Viel zu schnell am Tisch war fast kein Platz mit den Mahlzeiten. Die Besichtigungszeit in Teror war viel zu kurz. Gut gefallen hat das Aquarium und die Fahrt selbst und der Fahrer. Mit den Guide waren wir nicht zufrieden.

Reisleider vertelde veel over het land en de geschiedenis (Hij is daar zelf geboren) in verschillende talen (Helaas geen Nederlands want die tocht was al volgeboekt) maar konden hem goed volgen. Bezoek aan aquarium in één woord geweldig een echte "Moet je gezien hebben" Lunch in een oude grotwoning met plaatselijke gerechten is een leuke ervaring en mensen zijn heel gastvrij en behulpzaam.

En fait c'est simple j' ai tout aimé,l acceuil ds le car par la guide était parfait, elle a communiqué avec moi en français durant tte l excursion,les visites étaient belles et originales, j' ai passé une très ********** journée.Merci pour l organisation de cette journée. Le repas excellent.

Prima tour fijne reisleiding en top chauffeur. Overal net te weinig tijd. Bij het aquarium was een half uurtje extra prettig geweest(vooral omdat we een kind van 2 bij hadden en dan blijf je overal wat langer kijken. Met een bakkie koffie halverwege hadden we geen tijd meer voor de foto's aan het eind. Bij de lunch die meer dan prima was ook weinig tijd na de lunch om de grotten te bekijken.kwartiertje extra zou fijn zijn geweest. Zo ook in Agüimes kwartiertje extra vrije tijd nodig....

We werden op tijd op de afgesproken plek opgehaald door een bus met Engels sprekende gids. De gids vertelde tijdens de rit een hoop over het eiland en de geschiedenis ervan. Het aquarium en de andere plekken die wij hebben bezocht waren erg leuk en mooi om te zien. Wij vonden de tijd die we er met zo’n tour per plek hadden echter wel te kort.

+ Poema del Mar heel mooi maar 2 uur niet voldoende om rustig alles te bekijken. + Tapas erg lekker en ruim voldoende..😋 - slechts 1 toilet in restaurant voor 5 bussen !!!! Toilet erg vuil en onhygienisch in restaurant ☹️

Wasn’t just English on trip and foreign people were talking very loudly when the rep tried to speak English. Rep wasn’t English Really enjoyed the aquarium and the meal. Again when the rep was trying to explain what would happen at the restaurant we couldn’t hear properly

De gids vanaf dat we in de bus stapten tot get einde aan toe ratelde maar door. Soms us het ook fijn dat he even stilte hebt en kunt genieten van het uitzicht, want dat was prachtig. Op n gegeven moment waren de mensen in de bus aan get praten met elkaar, maar de gids bleef stug door praten door de microfoon

Ansprechpartner im Hotel - Michael -hilfsbereit, informativ. Miserabel hingegen der Reiseleiter. WIEDERHOLT ERLEBT. Bei früherer Fahrt - in einem Dorf bei einer Markthalle bei Kälte für ca. 1 Stunde abgesetzt um nicht zu früh am Hotel zu sein! Das Aquarium war topp, nur zu kurz, von allen bestätigt. Essen war gut, aber ungemütlich in kaltem "Bunker". Spricht gebrochenes Deutsch! Versteht Fragen nicht! Setzt seine Gäste zum Schluss in Dorf ab wegen Zeitplan. NICHT GUT -ENTTÄUSCHEND

Amazing trip, beautiful aquarium! After that we had a lunch (tapas), bread with alioli, jamon, tortilla, tomate, meat, fish and potatoes with mojo. It was alot, very good and tasty! After that we he had a little time to see the mountains and at least we went to agüimes also beautiful. To be honest there wasn't a lot of time to see the little countries. But a great experience!

It was very good experience. Bus came 10 min late. And restaurant in the cave mostly paid attention to first 4 tables, not the rest of us. But all was very good anyway, the guide tried to joke about it. I would recommend it, and would take it again

Bis auf das Aquarium war alles schlecht geplant und schlecht durchgeführt. Wenig Kommunikation. Nichts erklärt. Während Siesta uns für 30 Minuten rumlaufen lassen. 2 Stunden früher im Hôtel angekommen, als geplant.

Akvariet var en fantastisk opplevelse. Lunsjene i fjellene var nydelig! Skulle ønske vi fikk mer tid der, og litt grundigere informasjon om folket som bodde der. Agüimes var en nydelig by, fint å få tråkke litt for seg selv der.

Zu kurze Zeit im Aquarium verbracht, der Bus der gefahren ist hatte seine beste Zeit längst hinter sich. Das Tapas essen war gut, lecker und ausreichend. Leider konnten wir die angebotene Höllen nur von Bus aus sehen.

Grundsätzlich war der Ausflug sehr nett, jedoch hat mir insgesamt das Zeitmanagement nicht gefallen. Das Essen war sehr gut, aber man hatte keine Zeit sich im Anschluss noch einmal die Schlucht anzusehen. Raus aus dem Bus-rein in den Bus, weiter geht es. Im Dorf hätte man eine Stunde Aufenthalt gehabt, aber es hat geregnet, also haben die meisten Gäste die Stunde im Bus an der Straßenseite verbracht. Fazit: schade ums Geld....

Der eingesetzte Reisebus war eine Katastrophe. Klimaanlage nicht in Ordnung. Der Regen drang ins Innere des Fahrzeugs. Im Aquarium war es ein geschiebe und Gedränge der dort befindlichen Menschen. Die Fahrt zu dem Höhlen Dorf war nicht das was man sich vorstellen konnte. Massenabfertigung in einer Gastronomie und von einer Höhlen Wohnung weit und breit nix zu sehen. Ich selbst kannte die Tour anders. Bin nicht zum ersten Mal in Gran Canaria. TUI verbessert eure Angebote.

Wir hatten 2 Stunden Zeit im Aquarium. Das war zu wenig. 3 Stunden wären besser, um sich auch Zeit für das große Becken mit der riesigen Scheibe nehmen zu können. Auch die ca. 35 Minuten in dem kleinen Dorf waren etwas knapp. Zwar war im März wenig los. Um sich einen Kaffee zu holen und ein paar Gassen zu erkunden, hätte man sich mehr Zeit nehmen können.

Aquarium was amazing. And lunch excellent in the cave house. But the visit to the little village was a waste of time there is so little there. A church a shop and cafe!!!!! This trip was advertised as 8 hrs but we only had 4 hrs there. Each way was 2 hours due to so many pick ups. We expected more time on the actual trip

The Poeme del Mar aquarium is spectacular and a sight to see. It was only marred by a troop of school children with teachers wearing louspeakers, which could be heard throughout the aquarium. We visited in early March when there wererelatively few visitors, I can imagine it will be jam packed in the summer. The visit to the Guayadeque Canyon and the cave houses was interesting, but the highlight of the day was the lunch at the cave restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff were wwelcomin.

Das Aquarium war absolut sehenswert - die Vielfalt der Fische, die Präsentation, die Sauberkeit und Wegführung, auch die Preise für Kaffee usw waren voll i.O. Die Führerin hätte, während der Busfahrt, ein bisschen mehr informieren können, über die Menschen, die Wohnungen, die Arbeitsplätze, Energieversorgung, Probleme durch den Tourismus. Ansonsten gute Organisation, Hinweis auf Treffpunkte und Uhrzeiten und auf Wesentliches vor Ort, sehr klar und deutlich.

Ticket info said to wait at bus stop outside Spa but the coach picked up at bus station on other side of block. Aquarium excellent. Wonderful displays, nicely laid out, informative. Guide did the minimum. Commentary felt very unspontaneous and unenthusiastic.. No communication about the day until all passengers on. We were first on and wanted about an hour and a half before getting any information. Lunch, cave and village bot particularly interesting or unique. Cave houses- couldn't see much.

Und wurde ein 3 stündigen Aufenthalt zugesagt, jedoch waren es lediglich 2 Stunden, viel zu kurz. Wir mussten das Mittagessen in Kauf nehmen, obwohl wir nur am Besuch des Aquariums interessiert waren, eigentlich ein Halbtagesfahrt.

Vår guide Gabi drog all info på både tyska och engelska, och talade lagom högt och i bra takt. Bra chaufför! Turen i sig var 45 min med buss till akvariet, där det tyvärr bara var 2 timmar. Hade jag vetat att det var så kort tid, så hade jag åkt på en egen utflykt dit och varit där i kanske 3-4 h då det var detta som lockade med utflykten. Tapas i grottrestaurangen var enkel men god, delas med medresenärerna. Sista stoppet var okej, men man hann knappt besöka både souvenirshopen och köpa kaffe.

Das Aquarium hat 10 Punkte verdient. Die Besichtigung der Höhlen und das Essen waren soweit in Ordnung. Der letzte Teil der Fahrt hätte es nicht gebraucht (Agüimes). Diesen Teil würde ich ersetzen (Bsp. Kathedrale Las Palmas). Busfahrer 10 Punkte.

Es war ein toller Ausflug! Die Zeit im Aquarium hätte etwas länger sein dürfen, es gab so viel zu sehen. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen.

Die Aufenthaltszeiten Höhlen und Dorf waren zu kurz!. Keine Gelegenheit zur genaueren Besichtigung und kurzem Verweilen. Sehr schade. Aquarium war die Zeit ausreichend MfG
