The guide and coach driver were both very friendly and welcoming, which created a pleasant atmosphere for the trip. During the coach journey to Limassol, the guide shared a lot of interesting information with the group, including historical facts and useful background about the area. The coach itself was clean and comfortable. When we arrived in Limassol, the guide clearly explained the meeting points and timeframes for returning and offered the option for people to either stay with him split.

PA system in the coach was poor, couldn't hear a word the guide said. The " guided tour of the Old Town " was virtually none existent.

The journey from our hotel to Limassol was most enjoyable. We had time to admire the dramatic scenery. The driver was very competent. The guide was friendly and welcoming. However, the sound system needs some improvement. Passengers at the rear of the coach had trouble hearing the guide's descriptive talk, announcements and history of the area.

De gids was moeilijk verstaanbaar mede doordat de geluidsinstallatie in de bus niet goed werkte en de shopingwinkels waren ook niet bijzonder zijstraatjes wel gezellige terrasjes verder was het opstappunt voor meerdere mensen onduidelijk er kwamen mensen niet opdagen die zijn achtergebleven en daardoor vertrok de bus ook nog eens een half uur telaat

Looking at the image for the excursion it looked as though it would have been more of an old town vibe visit. Obviously not knowing anything about Limassol, one tends to rely on the images and descriptions. At a cheap price of €22 each, it did signify a basic experience. Literally walking around a small area of new v’s old. To be honest it was ‘ok’ but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone as I have been on far better Excursions on the TUI website that were unforgettable. Cheaper to get the bus?

From the start of the trip the guide was unpleasant I had a spare ticket as my sister did not go and a man asked if he could buy a ticket as someone in his party wanted to go. I heard him and said to the guide the man could have my sisters ticket she became angry about my suggestion and said she was not having all this politics at this late time and if the person wanted a ticket she should have bought one sooner than this. I thought what is the harm in giving the place to some one else

Good day out. We were told half day trip. Did enjoy but longer than expectedand already had full day out day before. Not really a complaint but an awareness. The guide Andrea( think that her name) brilliant. So knowledgeable and interesting. Lovely lady.

So enjoyed the guided tour of the old port, the history of Limmasol and the cathedral. Had lunch at McDonald's and tried pistachio mcflurry it was excellent. Shopped for souvenirs and got some cheap presents to take back. We had more time than needed to shop and so sat by the old port to use up the time.

The guide was very impatient.she wouldn’t wait for slower people and started talking before everyone reached her. Even on a toilet break she marched in to the ladies and told some older people to hurry up. We arrived at the old town too early in the morning as the majority of the shops were closed. The guide seemed as if she didn’t want to be there at all

Could hardly hear the guide. 1 person trying to explain and give info when there is 54 people isn’t really clever as a lot couldn’t get near to understand what’s going on. Spoke to quite a few people on the trip and they explained how disappointing the trip was. The guide was lovely but tui need to actually go on the trip and see how their customers feel

Unfortunately a lot of Limassol was closed so there was little for us to enjoy (for four hours) whilst we were there. The Tui tour guide was a lovely lady and very knowledgeable. The tour lasted about half an hour before having free time to explore. But, I wouldn’t recommend this trip, we’d have preferred to stay in our hotel for the day. I will say - we visited from 11am onwards in early September so perhaps this is why it was very quiet.

Guide was awful. 51 passengers on board the coach , we sat near the back and could t hear her for 95% of the time. Other guests were also complaining . Old town Limassol was a waste of time effort , a days holidays wasted and money. On arrival no ear pieces given out. 4 hours far too long. Guides directions to shops incorrect. We spent the free time waiting to be picked up. Nothing to see or do. Awful experience. Visit should have gone to newer part . Too far to walk to that area from old town

Pick up time go by voucher time not rep advised time as we stood in the sun for 40 mins before we started. Rep was informative but vague on dome bits so didn't really actually really know what we were looking at . Bus had a temporary breakdown . So the journey to limassol was not the best. Arrival was at the port area guides gave good direction for all areas & meeting point and time . Unfortunately for us the place was dead when we went most was of our time was at castellos bar . Prefer paphos

Guide was very informative. Lots of detail and history provided on the bus journey. Very clear instructions regarding pick up location, and advice about the area when we arrived. Enough time to explore a range of things (Castle, Paradox Museum, lunch, walk around the harbour/sea front, bit of shopping). Smooth journey back after a very warm day was much appreciated.

Wir buchten den Besuch der Altstadt, um etwas über deren Geschichte und der Geschichte Limassols etwas zu erfahren. Da es keine Führung auf deutsch gab, wählten wir Englisch. Während der Fahrt erfuhren wir etwas über Zypern Ansonsten aber wurden uns nur verschiedene Möglichkeiten der Besichtigungen, Toiletten, Restaurants und schließlich Uhrzeit und Ort der Abfahrt genannt. Die Erwartung einer Altstadtführung wurde somit leider in keiner Weise erfüllt.

Collected on time. Guide explained the days schedule well. Guide explained history of the island well on the trip to Limassol. After a short guided trip with the guide in the old town we had a few hours to explore Limassol. The weather on our visit was extremely hot ! It is fair to state that we are not particularly interested in the historical features so we were basically visiting cafes and shops. The old part of town is pretty.

The tour guide was informative, but went on a bit too much once we were there. Hardly anything to see and hardly anything open. There was one nice little strip covered by umbrellas and the harbour, but that was all. The main shops were all closed.

Naar onze mening hebben we enkel betaald voor de busrit ( elk €25), want het bezoek zelf was echt de Moeite niet. We hadden 5h vrije tijd in Limasol terwijl je dit makkelijk kan afleggen in 1,5h- Veel meer valt er daar niet te beleven- Kleine haven, wel winkels, maar ook dat is snel gezien.

Our guide was very informative . On the bus on the way to Limassol she gave us a brief history of the occupying powers throughout time . Once we arrived in Limassol she walked with us for a short time , pointing out the various areas of interest before leaving us to explore on our own .

Er waren veel souvenirs winkels in de oude stad Limassol dat was plezant wat ik minder vond dat je te lang moest wachten in de nieuwe gedeelte van de stad op een gerecht de mensen waren niet zo vriendelijk maar als je dan zei we moeten ons bus nemen en hebben niet zo veel tijd dan stonden daar ineens met het gerecht verpakt om in de bus te kunnen op eten

It was advertised has a guided tour, the the guide took 20 minutes showing us around a church then we was on our own for just over 3 hours which I felt a disappointment as I would have liked a bit more from the tour guide,but overall it was a good day

Guide and driver were excellent. It is good value for money, we enjoyed our trip, the weather was extremely hot,, so 4 hours was a long time in hit Simon the town. There is limited shade along the beach front, although lots of benches very few in shade. Walking a lot in that heat was draining. The town was lovely.

The choice to follow the guide or do our own thing was good. She informed us of all the interesting places to visit and off we went independently. Had plenty of time to relax, have a meal and drink and nothing was hurried. Everyone was also on time, which was great. Lovely trip! Would recommend it.

We found the trip overall a little disappointing as there was no real description on the email of what to expect from the day. After spending almost two hours on the coach with the guide we were dropped in Limassol to tour the town on our own and then told a pickup point to be at 4 hours later. In reflection we wouldn’t have booked this trip had we known there was so little guidance in Limassol. We were expecting some time with the guide in the town and to be given some history and local facts

Although Limassol was lovely, I felt there was far too much free time given for the small place that it is. 3hrs would have been plenty to see the place and get some food however we were given 5hrs and we were at a lose end for 2hrs.

The cathedral and castle were good to visit but the latter took only 35 mins to walk around the cathedral 5 mins. That then left us with 5 hours to walk around streets of empty shops. What shops there were, repeated themselves. Not worth the trip!

Es war ein schöner Ausflug nach Limassol! Der alte Hafen und die Altstadt waren sehr interessant und sehenswert! Die freie Zeit, die zur Verfügung stand, hat zur eigenständigen Erkundung ausgereicht! Leider wurde die Tour nur auf Englisch angeboten, auf deutsch wäre es für uns noch schöner gewesen!

We felt it was so unorganised, the guide seemed very inexperienced, he put everyone in danger crossing them over busy roads, the meeting point to return was at a very busy crossing on a roundabout. Then the bus stopped somewhere completely different so everyone had to run across a dangerous crossing. He wasn't waiting for people and when we arrived he walked off and people were still getting off the bus.

Teleurstellend. De oude binnenstad is maar 4/5 straten groot en je bent er op 15 minuten klaar mee. De ‘winkelstraat’ is deze naam onwaardig. Kort bezoek aan de oude en de nieuwe haven. Mooi, gezellig maar ook daar ben je rap rond … bij toeristische dienst kan je een gratis kaartje van de stad bekomen. Daarmee zijn we zelf dan mee op ontdekking geweest. Aanrader : flaneren op de mooie promenade en bezoek St Catherines Catholic Church. Oh ja, niet doen indien je slecht te been bent …

The guide left the coach before all passengers had been dropped back off at hotels. Sold as though there was lots to do at limossal but there wasn’t.
