Embark on a new immersive, sensory adventure to discover the cultures and civilizations of wine!In an open exhibition space occupying more than 3,000 m², nearly twenty different themed areas invite you to take a voyage of discovery and enjoy a unique experience exploring the many and varied facets of wine across time and space.A visit to the permanent exhibition also includes the visitor's guide, a free, innovative tool available in eight languages, and access to La Cité du Vin's Belvedere, where you will discover a 360° view of Bordeaux whilst tasting a glass of world wine (50 ml), or two glasses (depending on your ticket selection).

Show printed or e-ticket directly at the entrance of the permanent exhibition located on floor 2. Cité du Vin is located near the Chaban-Delmas Bridge in the Bassin à Flot area. Nearest tram stop: 'La Cité du Vin' (line B). Nearest bus stop: 'La Cité du Vin' (line 7).

Musée extrêmement bien conçu très interactif vraiment interessant et j’ai appris plein de choses. Je recommande vivement.

Excellent organisation of the floor space. Clear language on the headsets. Fascinating presentations from the major wine producing countries around the world. Plenty of space to walk around. Overall most impressive. the "smell" section was fun but also interesting. I learnt much but with the overall size of the building and the huge amount of information present felt ideally one needs a full day to absorb everything with a break in the middle in the cafe.

La personne à l'accueil pas sympa du tout. On voit bien qu’on l’ennui avec nos questions. Ne nous a pas donné les renseignements demandés. Heureusement qu’aux audiophones la dame était souriante et charmante. Et avec ses explications on a passé un bon moment au sein de la cité du vin

Un peu déçu par la visite audio guidée. Il y avait surement beaucoup de monde et donc beaucoup d’attente devant les explications. Il faudra mettre plus de texte à lire. Et pour les personnes âgées ou handicapées il manque des chaises pour se reposer.
La dégustation était très bien conseillée

Unfortunately due to an incident on the tram line we didn’t make the tour. The museum wouldn’t validate our ticket for the following day as we hadn’t booked directly- we had 20 mins for a rushed glass of wine on the roof bar which was nice. Recommend booking directly with museum

Comment on cultive le vin dans le monde ? Depuis quand boit-on du vin ? Et dans quoi ? Reconnaître les odeurs ? Quel vin fait la paire avec mon caractère ? Qu’en pense un neurologue ? Un œnologue ? Un journaliste ? Toutes ces questions et 1000 autres encore sont posées de façon passionnante !

Realment val molt la pena visitar la Citè du vin. Molt interessant tot el que podem veure, gaudir i aprendre del món del vi. Ens ha agradat molt com funciona (amb l’audioguia és molt pràctic). I molt agradable prendre la copa que et regalen a la part de la terrassa.
Recomanem totalment la visita.
