You get to drive the speedboat yourself, zooming through the natural ecosystem of Nichupte Lagoon for two hours, passing by wild fauna and flora in one of its four mangrove areas. And if you choose the added snorkelling tour, you'll also get to see what lies beneath with a spot of underwater exploration.

Pick up was at 11 o’clock for a one hour and 15 minute transfer and we were over 45 minutes early for our boat trip. The bar area where we had to wait was not somewhere we would’ve chosen to wait with a lot of very very loud music which wouldn’t suit some people and certainly didn’t suit us. Plenty of safe locker space and once we were on the speedboat a great experience although I wouldn’t call driving through the mango Groves, where we were a “jungle” trip.

The driver Antonio, and Leon the guide, were very good. We were surprised at the length of time it took to get to the destination. On top of this long journey we had to wait an hour before the tour started. The speed boat seemed old. The tour wording suggests that manatees crocodiles and turtles can be seen on the trip: "You can look out for" , but the busy environment makes sightings unlikely. The reef is dead. Changing facilities rudimentary.

Transfer was late and not particularly comfortable however the excursion itself was amazing and excellent value for money. Leo was our speedboat guide and he was wonderful. We had great fun and his knowledge of the area meant we saw lots of crocs and wildlife. The onsite photos were also good value.

Positief was dat we met maar 1 ander koppel aanwezig waren, dit maakte wel dat we bij aankomst op hen moesten wachten voor vertrek. Er mocht na uitleg flink door gevaren worden, wat het spectaculair maakte, alhoewel er bij de mangroven waar rustiger doorheen gevaren werd, (in tegenstelling tot het snorkelen) maar weinig tijd werd genomen om wild life te kunnen spotten. Heen hadden we privé vervoer, maar de gecombineerde terugrit met andere touristen duurde ruim 2u-dit vonden we n groot nadeel

A little underwhelming. I know the spotting of wildlife can’t be controlled but the mangrove trees didn’t seem to house a lot of animals. Neither did the place where we snorkelled. There was a a lot fish but no turtles or manatee or birds. I also felt it came to an abrupt end when another tour came over to snorkel in the same area. The only positive was driving your own speedboat. That was quite fun and our guide was nice.

This trip was awesome. We were lucky and the only ones booked. So we had a private excursion. Speedboats were great and good fun. The snorkelling was excellent. Saw a few statues on the reef. Loads of fish. Barracuda, Squid and lobsters. A 3 hour round trip from Grand Sirenis but totally worth it for the 2+ excursion. Highly recommend this trip.

The snorkelling was cancelled. But we were only told this after travelling from riviera maya for 90 mins. They said we should have been told by TUI. But this is not true as we would have cancelled

If you read the other reviews you would avoid this one, but don't! We had a fantastic time. Raul look2d after us brilliantly and we speedboated from one end of the lagoon to the other and then had 45 mins snorkeling. Again Raul was fabulous and showed us the statues and lots of fish and other interesting sights. We then got to speedboat back the length of the lagoon. Brilliant fun, even with a long journey to get there. Brilliant VFM too

Really enjoyable trip. Couldn't fault it and Raul, our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful during our excursion. The speedboating through the lagoon was brilliant and the snorkeling was enlightening. Loved every minute. Would gladly do it again and highly recommend.

We had our bus transfer pick us up from TUI BLUE El Dorado Seaside Suites, was quite a long way to Cancun but was all absolutely fine. Once our guide arrived we were able to leave our belongings in lockers (free of charge), and carry on. We followed our guide in our 2-man speedboat (my wife piloted first, I piloted the way back). We snorkelled at the halfway stop at the coral reef, checking out the tropical fish, and it was a perfect trip. And our guide was great too, we felt in safe hands.

The tour was excellent, like a dream come true for us. The guide was incredibly friendly and supportive and the trip overall was brilliant with plenty of time to enjoy the power of the boat, see some jungle and get a decent snorkel experience. We saw hundreds of fish and some underwater statues! Would definitely recommend this trip to anyone wanting to drive their own speedboat and see some mysteries under the water. Thank you!

Die Anfahrt ab Riviera Maya zurück nach Cancun lief ok. Vor Ort angekommen, wurden wir nach dem CheckIn im eigenen Restaurant (Zusatzkosten) zum warten platziert. Nach einiger Zeit ging es dann in der Gruppe los. Leider ging es nicht wie beschrieben durch einen Fluss, sondern es geht durch Mangroven Wälder an einer Lagune. Da es die Ausfahrt diverser Häfen und ähnlicher Touren ist, sieht man auch keine Tiere. Auf den Rücktransport mussten wir trotz ausgiebigem Duschen ca. 40 Minuten warten.

Great natural tour and swim in a reef snorkiling with the fish. Photos at 35 dollars for 2 are a bit pricey. I negotated 40 for 3 . Lovely photos though.

De gids was aardig. We waren de enige mensen en kregen dus alle aandacht. Deze tour zou in de "jungle" moeten zijn, maar we hebben 2x een stukje mangroven gezien, voor de rest was het alleen maar varen op het water. Geen zeekoeien of schildpadden gezien. Er zou een stop zijn bij onderwaterbeelden, hebben we niet gedaan. We hebben 45 minuten op hetzelfde plekje gesnorkeld in dezelfde school vissen. Heel teleurstellend.

Leider fährt man zu 95% auf dem Meer geradeaus. Mit einer Jungle Tour hatte es wenig zu tun. Man fährt ca. 3-5 Minuten durch naja „Mangroven“ würde ich es fast nicht nennen. Das Tempo wird dort auch sehr herabgesetzt, unter anderem auch der Fahrspaß. Auch die Tiere blieben aus. Das einzige was man sehen konnte waren ein paar unspektakuläre Vögel und Fische. Krokodile, Seekühe oder Schildkröten waren Fehlanzeige. Der Guide war nett und hilfsbereit. Gute Taucherbrillen gab es auch.

Pick up going early but then had 45min wait for time slot. Toilets were disgusting filthy both ladies and gents, arriving back from boat trip had to wait 1hr for pick up. A 4hr trip took 6hrs in all. You need to check what you are selling to your customers and check it out first.

Reklamen lovede en guidet jungletur. Hvor man kunne se søkøer, krokodiller og andre større dyr. Vores guide havde så meget fart på at vi umuligt kunne nå at se noget i den meget korte tid vi fløj gennem mangroven. Vi har også betalt for en engelsk talende guide. Vi forventede at få noget viden om de forskellige dyr. Men han snakkede ********** ikke til os. Vi måtte bare prøve at aflæse hans håndtegn og følge med så godt vi kunne. Vi holdt snorkel stop ved et koral rev og det var fint nok
