We booked Tui blue Makarska thinking we would easily be able to access Makarska. We wanted to use a local bus, but the hotel TUi rep. Didn’t recommend this option. But instead sold us a transfer to Makarska. This was very expensive €28 x 4 people to travel just a few miles. The pick up was 8.30pm which was late if you wanted to eat there. The bus dropped us outside of town by a supermarket. We had no instructions by the driver on where to go and had to walk in the dark, which we didn’t feel safe

Der Fahrer ist viel zu schnell gefahren, hat dabei häufig telefoniert (ohne Freisprechanlage) und hat uns leicht verspätet in Makarska abgeholt. Der Aufenthalt in Makarska war sehr schön aber etwas zu lang.

Happy with the transport however the length of time in Makarska is simply to short. You need more time, lunch would of been nice to stay and not rushing around. When we tried to sort our own transport out to go on our own on another day our hotel rep wasent very helpful.

Our driver there was fabulous and told us to return for 11:30pm for the bus back to the hotel. The driver that collected us later (not the same driver) was nearly 20 minutes late and laughed about it when he dis finally arrived. This didnt go down well with the party of people he was picking up.

The shuttle bus going was fine. The return bus was 20 minutes late with no apology from the driver just a sly comment of “did you expect me to fly here”. By this point we were trying to find alternative transport as we didn’t think it would come. I would not recommend this service.

There was not a guide, we were dropped off outside the town. The pick up from Makarska was delayed by 10mins. Makarska is awesome but we did not have enough time or any help of what to do.

Shuttle bus didn't run frequently- only once in morning and once at night. It was very expensive for a service offered by a 4* all inclusive hotel.

Finns inget som är bra med denna resan. Hade Tui tagit sitt ansvar så hade de ställt in denna resan. Har aldrig varit med om sådan blåst och storm tidigare. Affärer stängde tidigare, gick inte att sitta på restauranger utomhus därför att stolar blåste omkull. Svårt att hitta plats till alla inomhus, de stängde dessutom tidigare. Svårt att hitta något att göra då bussen inte gick hem förrän 23:30. Chauffören hade inte en aning om hur många som skulle åka hem, hade ingen lista!! Skärp till er!

The bus ride was fine and the driver dropped us off in the centre which was very helpful as I had been told we would be left at a stop off away from the harbour . My only criticism is that the time allocated at this time of year was too long . Our pick up time of 23.30 could have been at least an hour earlier.

The bus driver (I forgot to ask his name) was so so fun and kind and made us all feel comfortable. He deserves the 10 stars!! The meeting times and locations were also clear and makarska itself was beautiful. We had a great time!

Der Shuttle Bus war zur vereinbarten Zeit nicht da, wir mussten bei der Rückfahrt über 1 Stunde warten, bis wir uns entschlossen ein Taxi zurück zunehmen, da der Shuttle Bus niegekommen ist. Das müsste man besser organisieren.

Gut organisierter kleiner Ausflug nach Makarska. Ein guter Ort um ein paar Stündchen zu verweilen. Rund um die Kirche gibt es in einigen schöne Gassen nette Restaurants, Bars und Cafés.

Wir wurden am Hafen von Maraskar abgesetzt und auch wieder abgeholt. Der Shuttleservice funktionierte einwandfrei. Der Stadtteil ist total auf Tourismus ausgelegt. Ein Ramschladen neben dem anderen. Die Cocktails die dort angeboten wurden waren unterirdisch, schlechter als im Hotel ??. Reine Abzocke. Wir waren total enttäuscht.

Only thing I would say is leaving at 7.50pm is a bit late in the evening. I imagine this is because we are in an all inclusive hotel and the option of having a meal beforehand has to be offered?l Having said that people tend to go out for a meal when on an evening trip like this.

Beautiful, worth a visit if local I travelled 2.5hrs each way and had a 1.5hr guided tour. Although the tour guide was lovely and informative this did drag. We were picked up from our hotel at 11am and after a long journey it was only around 3pm that we got taken to a restaurant to eat (lovely but tiny and so had eat straight after again in our free time) I went back into the restaurant to use the bathroom and was refused even after saying I would buy a drink so hospitality wasn’t great

Lovely experience visiting this town. The driver was unclear about the time we were to return to the bus. So got back too earlier, and missed time could have spent enjoying the area.

The Shuttle Bus to Makarska was defiantly worth it. It's not that long of a journey and you also get dropped off and picked up and the same location. It has beautiful views of the harbour and many restaurants also. Lots of little streets and lanes with shops so you can go shopping too.

Shuttle bus as described. Nice guy, on time in a minibus took us and guests from Tui Makarska to the destination. Where you had around 3 hours to eat and explore before they picked you up.
