Kefalonia's hidden beaches, pine-cloaked hills and timeless whitewashed villages serve up some of the best scenery in Greece. And there are few better ways to discover them than this six-hour off-road tour. Star turns include the National Park of Mt Ainos, Mt Roudhi and the Omala Valley.You'll climb into a 4x4 to see the places you wouldn't be able to reach by coach. Drive through rugged countryside, passing craggy, wind-whipped cliffs and meadows freckled with wild flowers – you might even see the island's famous wild horses. You'll pass through the National Park of Mt Ainos and by an eerie ghost town abandoned after a devastating earthquake in 1953. Plus, you'll visit Mt Roudhi, too.Your driver will take you along some of the island's best coastal routes, too, so fantastic views are par for the course. Last but not least, you'll drive to the Omala Valley and visit the Aghia Varvara church.

The mountain tour was a great experience. I think the trip could be made cheaper, shorter. It’s not necessarily needed to visit an olive or Honey companies. We carried our swim stuff as listed in the trip details but didn’t actually get to use them or visit any beaches. This was disappointing

Vehicle should come with a step stool to help get in and out. You advertise going to a beach? Nothing was mentioned, we went to a bee keeping place. This was really interesting though. The driver we had George was an absolute delight and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this trip.

An excellent day out. Crazy George our guide was very good with his knowledge of the island and it's history and culture. We learnt a lot about Kefalonia and discovered things we wouldn't have on other tours. Great safe fun and experience.

Would give more than 10 if I could, excelent excursión , totally different compared to beach or cruise trips, Jorge very knowledgeable and cares about the expierance he gives, even changing the itinerary around so as to keep the trips fresh for returning customers, gives a unique view and understanding of the island, over and above expectations

De reis was heel leuk om te doen, de eigenaar George heeft ons op een leuke wijze het eiland van een andere kant laten zien! Je moet niet bang zijn voor hoogtes.

Great trip going up the mountain on a narrow track with sheer drops (not for the faint-hearted). Magnificent views. George the driver was very entertaining. Great fun.

My Son and I went on the Outdoor Kefalonia jeep safari and it was the best day of our holiday. Alex and George were fantastic, funny and very informative. But my 16 year old autistic son told them information they never knew and they was very grateful. We stopped off several times visiting many places off road and on road. I would definitely recommend this trip if you like something a little bit different to the norm.

All adverts state transfer included, not true if staying in Lixouri as you have to get yourself to Argostoli. Also stated ending the day on the beach - also not true as we had a swim stop in an underground cave. Never the less a good day out taking you to places you could never get to otherwise. Very knowledgeable guides make the experience.

Zeer vrolijke en deskundige gids die ons prachtige plekjes heeft laten zien een minpuntje was dat we door de verkeerde taxi opgehaald werden en bij de verkeerde excursie terecht kwamen maar door adequaat optreden van de reisleidster is het toch goed gekomen

It was great fun although scary at times on the mountain roads but worth it to see the views. Had a great experience. Giorgio was knowledgeable and very friendly and funny. All the places he took us were fabulous.The drone was good for the videos. Would recommend but not for the infirm

George was a great host, funny, friendly and informative. He took us to some great places out of the way of the usual tourist spots. The only downside was spending an hour and a half in a cafe. At 11.30am I didn’t want to eat lunch and the coffee we had was €1.50 more expensive than the ones we’d had in the resort. I felt this was a waste of time and slightly resented the over pricing. The excursion was advertised with a snack and this was reiterated by the reps. It insinuates a snack would be provided. Maybe include a tea, coffee or soft drink which would probably encourage people to but more, but instead felt slightly ripped off paying €9 for 2 coffees and water. Other than that it was a great trip.

Great
Onze leuke gids George heeft een feestje van onze dag gemaakt. Het was hobbelen in de 4x4 jeep over de overharde wegen door de bergen waar de krekels je om de oren vlogen.
Hij heeft ons heel veel verteld over het eiland en ons de mooie verborgen pareltjes laten zien. Het was zeker de moeite waard.
