If it's a typical Spanish ‘pueblo' that you're after, then Mojacar's your town. You'll cross some pretty Wild West-looking scenery on your way, heading across the Tabernas Desert. And you won't be disappointed when you get there – the town is made of white, sugar-cubed houses that tumble down the rocky hillside. There's also a visit to a coastal fishing village.Mojacar's a tangle of cobbled streets which are lined with quaint shops and cute cafés and there are plenty of Moorish leftovers to admire including a spring water fountain and flower-filled terraces.Then take a trip to a typical coastal village. Head over to the beach for a dip or you can wander along the beautiful promenade.

Eventueel indien mogelijk de lunch in één restaurant, allemaal tesamen lunchen is veel gezelliger. (Zoals de Sierra Nevada tour ) voor de personen die dat willen. Nu was het ook ok ,we hebben een tapas genuttigd in de bar aan de Iglesias kerk.

Mojacar was heel mooi en leuk. Lekker eten, mooi uitzicht, ... Het zou nog beter zijn moest je 3u vrije tijd hebben in het stadje ipv. 2u want als je er wil winkelen en eten is het nipt.

In drie talen alles vertellen is niet leuk ,beter in 1 of twee talen, je luisterd 3 keer naar hetzelfde. Els was een zeer goede gids de tabernas was het leukste .

L’accueil l’aéroport par Mme Antoinette : parfait. Moi:ravie de découvrir Roquetas de Mar: aspect humain: pas de hauts buildings. Personnel de l’hôtel: professionnel; Ma chambre(860): avec penderies & bcp d’espace pour visualiser ses affaires personnelles, tr bon état de la sdb (eau chaude venant aux robinets sans traîner; WC: chasse bien réglée; Splendide jardin; Piscine grande&belle, chaises longues ;;Restau :beaux buffets+********** cuisine variée; ??personnel de salle: fait bcp de bruit

La visite de Mojacar était bien, l'arrêt au Route 66 ********** pause, ainsi qu'à Fort Bravo. Très bonnes explications de la guide. Un arrêt pour le dîner très bien avec un bon repas.

Took over an hour to get there arrived about 9.30am and had to be back for the coach at 12.30. Had read was a full day. Was told the boat trip doesn’t run anymore which was ok with us but thought we would have more time to actually explore. But felt rushed. Price was €98 and wasn’t worth the money. A beautiful village though but wouldn’t go again.

11 uur onderweg . Alleen Mojacar voldeed aan de verwachtingen. Andere bezochte dorpen ???? Waarom bezocht? Ik had gehoopt op een mooie tocht in de Tabernas woestijn . Niet dus.

Both the planned stops at Carbonaras and Garrucha were excellent surprised. Mojocar quaint but too touristy for me, but that is the case anywhere you go these days. Would have liked a couple of stops actually right in the Tabernas desert itself.

De buschauffeur reed netjes. Bus was prima. Onze gids legde alles heel goed uit in het Nederlands,, En ook in andere talen. Ze nam overal goed de tijd voor. Wij vinden het een aanrader

beste, zoals ik al liet weten: de gids (Els) was heel goed! Een heel mooie uitstap MAAR - te duur - All-in formule hotel: dus ontbijt, middagmaal en avondmaal inbegrepen!! Het middagmaal in hotel waren we kwijt. GEEN middagmaal gekregen tijdens daguitstap. Je moest bijbetalen!! Niet oké: ALL-INN IS ALL-INN!!

Echt heel bijzonder is de streek rond Almeria en Roquetas nou ook weer niet. Niet de schuld van TUI natuurlijk, alles was perfect geregeld. En de bezochte plekken best leuk voor een keer. Maar een aanrader? Nee, dat helaas niet.

Ik had geboekt voor Mojacar en Tabernas, helaas was dit een gecombineerde trip. Deel van de groep had in de ochtend een boottrip langs Cabo de Gata en het andere deel dus een ruime twee uur vrije tijd had. Voor het plaatsje Carboneras is dit echt teveel tijd, er is afgezien van een klein aantal winkeltjes en een wandeling over de promenade weinig te zien en te doen. In de middag hadden we weer iets meer dan twee uur vrije tijd in Mojacar maar was dit eigenlijk te kort. Advies, Carboneras eruit

De tijd die wij in de bus moesten zitten is wat minder. Als eerste opgehaal 7.30 en als laatste tbuis 18.45. Dat is een hele zit. Leukste was de stop met de winkeltjes halverwege de dag.

Mojacar in combinatie met tabarnas woestijn is echt de moeite waard om te bezoeken! Tui heeft het programma zo goed georganiseerd dat je genoeg vrije tijd krijgt om je eigen dingen te kunnen doen en de reisleiders wisten veel te vertellen over de omgeving/geschiedenis. Kortom zou zeggen boeken!
