Known as ‘Little Dubrovnik', Korcula town is full of historic sights and it's more than easy on the eye. Along with the wine-producing area of Peljesac and the walled village of Ston, it's one of the star turns of this fascinating excursion.Korcula town is perched on a peninsula in the northeast corner of the large island of Korcula. After a short stop in Ston, we'll reach the town after a boat ride across the Adriatic from Orebic. And once you've stepped inside the honey-coloured town walls, you'll find a slice of vintage Croatia that's all red-roofed tiles and marble streets. Explore a bit and you'll be rewarded with sights like the ornate St Mark's Cathedral and the house where locals claim Marco Polo was born. Dip into the galleries, admire the churches or drop into one of the pocket-sized cafés. The journey back takes you through the vineyards of the Peljesac peninsula - where you'll get to stop and try some local wines.

I had done this trip the year before. I like the views from the coach from Cavtat to Korcula and is a great day out. Our guide Sanja was excellent!! But due to time of boat to Korcula we were given a short time at Ston which is an authentic Croatian town.I would have liked another 30 to 45 mins extra in Ston.However the day out was brilliant and I recommend it to any traveller who likes history and sightseeing.

Enjoyed every moment of this tour. Great guide (Sonya) and Driver (Josef) Well balanced with plenty of free time to enjoy Korcula and the Wine tasting. Maybe a little longer at Ston but understand we had a boat to catch. Sonya was excellent. It was a mixed group of English and French and she handled it really well. Must have been very tiring for her having to speak in two languages all the time. Would highly recommend this trip.

The Guide Tom was excellent, kept us informed for both French and English people. He was friendly and amusing, as well as a fountain of knowledge. The coach looked older, however the driver was great and we did have air conditioning. Most important!

Korcula was breathtaking from start to finish. Only negative was that we had a guided tour which was split into two groups english and French speaking. We had the tour last and was advised to go to the left to explore and come back two hours later. The tour took us in the areas we had already visited in our free time. Overall it was fantastic and guide friendly.

Guide très mal aimable nous faisant courir très peu de temps surtout que le bus a eu un accident perdu 1h et ensuite accident sur la route perdu 30mns. Ils nous prenaient pour des scolaires.

Nice mix of coach tour up to Korcula, boat trip across to the island (only a few minutes) and a walk around the island (time to eat and a guided tour around for about an hour). Then finished up with the wine tasting at Peljesac on the way back.

Transfert ALLER nous avons été pris en charge à l'aéroport , on nous a donné un billet de bateau puis mis dans une navette et ensuite on nous a déposé au port: sortez c'est ICI mais sans que personne ne puisse nous dire quel bateau prendre. Heureusement que je parle anglais pour trouver ce bateau! Arrivés à destination, une navette devait nous attendre pour les bagages ... PERSONNE! Je suis partie avec deux personnes dont ma mère de 76 ans, heureusement que mon fils était là pour nous aider!

Belle excursion visite de Ston et de Korcula, magnifique. Cependant arnaque touriste sur la visite du musée du vin, rien d exceptionnel. Dommage guide qui nous réclame pas moins de 2 euros pour le chauffeur !

Les visites guidées de Ston et Korkula étaient super, notre guide était vraiment très intéressant. Par contre, l'arrêt au musée du vin et la dégustation n'avaient aucun intérêt : les objets présentés sont les mêmes que chez nous et le vin n'était pas bon.

Visite intéressante mais beaucoup trop longue. 1h de temps libre a Ston, c'est trop. 2h a Korcula également. Trop de monde dans cette excursion ou il est très difficile d’ente´dre le guide qui commence ces explications alors que.nous ne sommes pas encore sortis du bus. Panier repas fourni par l’hôtel digne d’une colonne de vacances.

The experience was advertised as an English tour, but it was mostly conducted in French because 95% of the group were French-speaking. Had I known this, I would have cancelled. The guide tried, but on the coach I couldn’t focus on the limited English commentary due to the constant French narration. The bus was almost full, yet my family of three — including my disabled wife and young daughter — were forced to sit apart. Several passengers kept bags on empty seats and refused to move them.

Très bien dans l'ensemble mais beaucoup trop de monde sur l'îlot de "la vierge au rocher" et pas assez de temps dans la ville de KORCULA (1h15). Le trajet en bateau était très long pour le peu de temps que nous avons passé sur place. La guide était très bien !

The island of Korcula was beautiful. The guide was very knowledgeable of the area and history. We had been led to believe when booking that there would be food at the winery visit. This was actually tiny pieces of bread and jam and a few dry crackers. Had we known this we would have had lunch at one of the many restaurants in the centre of Korcula.

Excursion où beaucoup de temps dans le bus, la guide commente en français et en anglais; le passage d'une langue à l'autre fait rater les éléments commentés. De plus, il n'y a pas d'accompagnement sur ce qu'il faut visiter que cela soit à Ston ou bien à Korcula. Korcula reste un très joli village, à voir. La dégustation de vin n'a aucun intérêt.

it was a good excursion. But we were disappointed that the guide Sandra focused most of her attention on the French guests.. As we departed to take the boat back to the mainland. Sandra was the last person to arrive kept us all waiting and made no apology.. I would recommend you remove the wine history tour from the itinerary as it was very boring

No working seatbelts on the coach at the back. H & Safety issue. Couldn't always hear talks especially when standing under church tower with bells chiming. Wine tasting experience very disappointing. Would have preferred to stay in Ston a lot longer instead.

Apres retour de Korcula avons récupéré le car non climatisé, celui-ci est resté en plein soleil. La clim du car a mis plus d'une heure pour atteindre une température supportable. Dommage.

Notre guide Sonia nous a fait passer une excellente journée, en partageant sa passion pour son pays et toutes ses petites anecdotes, tout au long des visites. Le trajet fut un peu long avec la passage dans plusieurs hôtels ou souvent les accès en car sont périlleux. L'arrêt au retour pour la dégustation de vin n'est pas indispensable , surtout pour des Français, nous aurions préféré avoir plus de temps pour une visite de Korcula a notre rythme.

Beaucoup d’heure de route entre l’hôtel et le bateau pour rejoindre l’île. Prix un peu trop élevé, car il n’y avait pas de repas. L’île de Korcula est magnifique, c’est à visiter !

Une excursion variée car nous visitons deux villes et nous avons fini par une dégustation de vins. Dommage, peu de temps sur la ville de STON mais assez sur KORCULA. Visite agréable mais départ très tôt de l'hôtel. Par ailleurs, le prix de l'excursion n'est pas le même sur le catalogue et à l'hôtel. Le guide était bien.

A preciser que chaque vacancier peut faire sa visite sans le guide afin de déambuler tranquillement dans cette cité de caractère sans oublier le magnifique musée de Marco Polo (gratuit) et pouvoir monter dans la tour

Korcula was beautiful. However it was not explained that we would spend 8.5 hours of the say on a coach or ferry. We were needlessly asked to arrive at Gruz fir 7.15 pick up. We were then driven round a series if hotels for over an hour only to drve past Gruz again at 8.30. 85 minutes of our day wasted. Then a further 5 hours on a coach there and back before being dropped back at Gruz 90 minutes before the next ferry back to Kolocep. 3 hours in Korcula. A pointless wine tasting. €180.

Nous avons aimé la découverte de Korcula par la beauté de la ville. Néanmoins, très touristique donc peu d'immersion avec la population croate. Nous n'avons pas toujours entendu les explications de la guide (un guide pour un bus de 50 personnes semble très peu). La dégustation des vins à Peljesac ne nous était pas nécessaire. Nous aurions préféré continuer notre route vers un village typique croate.
