Dive into Takua-Pa's history on this half-day guided cycling tour, where you'll learn about the effects the 2004 tsunami had on this town – including stories of the community's resilience. You'll start by visiting some of the key sites affected by the tsunami, before heading into the Old Town to see local life in action. Then, you'll stop by the iconic Iron Bridge, a symbol of the community's recovery, as well as visit Baan Tharn Namchai, a home for children who lost their families during the tsunami. You'll wind things up with a traditional Thai lunch before returning to your hotel.
