A day visit to Silves and Monchique encompasses history, culture and breathtaking landscapes.At Silves, the first Arab capital of the Kingdom of the Algarve, you'll have free time to visit Silves Castle and Silves Cathedral, both built with red stones indigenous to this area.After that, a bus will take you through the Monchique mountains to Fóia, the highest point in the Algarve, with free time to take pictures and an opportunity to taste one of the typical liqueurs of the region.
