Man sollt noch auf die Dauer der Überfahrt hinweisen, nicht nur die Aufenthalte nennen. Es wird auf der Fähre sehr voll. Auf der Hinfahrt mussten wir stehen, bzw. auf dem Boden sitzen, weil keine freien Plätze mehr da waren und wir als letztes an Board gegangen sind, da es durch den Bus nicht schneller ging. Es ist zu empfehlen rechtzeitig wieder and Board zu gehen, um einen Sitzplatz zu bekommen. Guide war sehr freundlich und kompetent, auch wenn wir die nichtgeführte Tour genommen hatten.

Loved the minibus, pick up was on time driver very friendly. The rep was lovely & very attentive & helpful when we arrived in Rhodes, boat transfer was smooth sailing with lovely views of Turkey. Symi is a very beautiful island and has plenty of shops & restaurants for such a small area. The swim on the way back was very much needed as we were so hot it was very refreshing jumping into the sea. I would definitely recommend this trip a long & tiring day but worth it.

Nous avons aimé l’île de Symi ainsi que la visite du monastère et beaucoup moins la navigation !sur les 9 heures de prise en charge il y a 5 heures de navigation sur un vieux bateau avec très peu de confort ! On aurait aimé le savoir avant .

We really enjoyed Symi island but we thought we would have longer on the Island. It took over 5 hours travelling time which u dont get told about . Ferry very uncomfortable too no decent seats as last on . Very tiring as the travelling is a long time

Nous avons réservé cette excursion sans guide par défaut puisque à l’hôtel, il n’y avait plus de place pour une visite avec guide. Nous ne l’avons pas trop regretté. La visite de Symi est superbe et nous avons eu le temps nécessaire, peut-être une demi-heure de trop, pour visiter. La visite du monastère est aussi intéressante mais nous aurions eu besoin de la demi-heure de trop pour Symi… Le montant de l’excursion (avec guide) ne correspond pas avec ce qui nous a été fourni par l’agence.

Boottocht duurde te lang, 2 uur heen en 2 uur terug. We hadden de vrije tijd tour geboekt. Dit was een fout op de website zei de gids, je dient nu altijd langs het klooster te gaan. Daarom een extra reis op de boot naar het klooster en daar maar 30min geweest dus amper de tijd. Simi is wel een mooi eiland. Op de avond van tevoren werd de vertrektijd met 1 uur vervroegd. Het is geluk dat we dit gezien hadden.

Irini our TUI guide looked after us well. She was such a pleasant happy person. The drivers in both directions from and back to the hotel were pleasant people too. All in all a trip worth going on. Lovely harbour and no walking up steep hills necessary.

Boottocht prima, maar doordat ik minder mobiel was beneden op het dek moeten zitten en advies is om oordoppen mee te nemen voor het lawaai van de motoren. Mensen van de boot erg behulpzaam. Bij het klooster veels te weinig tijd binnen drie kwartier weer op de boot. Je bent langer onderweg om er geen te varen dan dat je daar bent.

Ordered the trip to Symi island for 5 hours only and then back to Rhodes but the Rep gave us the wrong trip the one we had was 3 hours In Symi then a trip via boat to the monastery we we were both not interested in so not happy we could of done with the 5 hours in Symi instead we got 3 so trip not as described thanks to the TUI rep who got it wrong

Pick up time changed to 55 mins earlier than booked. However on time, 3 hour stop and a 45 min stop in two places. Ferry 2 hrs. All in all from hotel pick up was 11.5 hr day Symi was lovely and worth the effort. I think the trip was worth £36 including pick up and drop off and the ferry ticket

It’s a waste of time stopping at the monastery, if we’re not going to have a guide as it wasn’t clear what you had to do in the chapel and I was refused entry and I was wearing a dress with shoulders covered. I would much rather have had longer in Symi

Le + l'île est une pure merveille ! Le - 5 h de transport pour rester 3 heures sur l'île ça me paraît un peu court surtout quand on voit la beauté de cette île on n'aimerais restée un peu plus longtemps. En accès libre sans guide peux être voir pour retirer la visite du monastère à panormitis et pouvoir rester toute la journée sur l'île à flâner et visiter .

Nous partons toujours avec TUI : plus jamais . 15 jours en all inclusive ....dans un hôtel pareil avec de tels services ......inacceptable...... 4 jours pour changer de chambres : humidité...pomme de douche cassée. Ménage très moyen....tout rouillé ou cassé....climatisation bruyante.....nourriture très moyenne....Un remboursement serait la moindre des choses pour clients fidèles et généreux.....catastrophe

Not sure when I would have been alerted to the change of pick up time-just happened to see the notification when on the app for another reason! I think this was not the only change as a visit to the Monetary was not expected-although very picturesque none of our group were dressed appropriately for entry. Reading the information I'm not sure which trip we were actually part of as the Monestary description didn't match what we received either. TUI rep didn't even say a goodbye before departing.

Départ de l’hôtel plus tôt que prévu pour quand même attendre 1h à Rhodes avant de prendre le ferry (avec des enfants). Le délégué Tui nous annonce une traversée en 1h30 qui est au final de 2h! Le transfert entre les deux points de l’île est donné de 40 minutes il a duré 1h. Au total 5h de ferry sur la journée dans une chaleur étouffante mais surtout dans les effluves d’échappement des moteurs (une horreur mal de tête à l’arrivée le soir qui empêche d’apprécier la beauté de l’île).

On nous avait annoncé 1h30 de bateau aller et autant pour le retour. Hors on nous à modifier le programme la veille vers 21h et au lieu de rester la journée à Symi, nous sommes restés à peine 3h. Pour aller visiter ensuite un monastère. Au total 5h de bateau pour un retour à 19h à l’hôtel. Lamentable les prestations Tui.

Booked this trip via rep at the hotel, advised on ticket to be at the bus stop at 8.20 on the day. Arrived at bus stop 8.05 and waited for bus but didn’t turn up, waited almost an hour and gave up. Advised by rep the same morning that the bus time had changed to 7.30. Only communication was via message on the to app, nothing via email which was the original method of booking. Something as important as a time change you’d think that they’d do everything to notify you. Wasted morning unfortunately

Wir haben bewusst die Tour ohne das Kloster gebucht, da wir mehr Freizeit auf der Insel haben wollten um selber zu entscheiden was wir machen. Sehr verwundert waren wir dann als es hieß wir haben nur 3 Stunden auf der Insel weil wir dann weiter zum Kloster fahren. Wir waren insgesamt über 12 Stunden unterwegs mit Bus und Boot. Die effektive Zeit auf der Insel, i kmisove ungewollten Kloster, waren weniger als 4 Stunden. Das ist mit einem 8-jährigen Kind kein Highlight.

Bezoek aan het klooster hoefde voor ons niet, je was verplicht om je volledig lichaam te bedekken (als vrouw). Het bezoek aan symi island was TOP, heel gezellig eiland met veel leuke winkeltjes en restaurantjes. Geen aanrader voor mensen die zeeziek zijn, is een heftige en lange reis op zee.

Our Tui rep Milena was extremely helpful when we were booking the trip, explaining about the itinerary and the island. Everything was well organised, from being picked up at the hotel, the boat transfer and the return journey. We thought the cost of the trip was good value and we had a lovely time. There is nothing we didn't like.

Symi est très joli. Mais énormément de monde. La traversée est assez longue.. pour quelques photos.. et une balade dans la foule. Au mois d'août les rues sont bondées. Parfois difficile de circuler en sécurité avec toutes ses mobylettes et autres.. Sinon dans l'ensemble l'organisation est **********. Bus à l'heure, bateau aussi. Guide agréable.

The island itself was stunning. As for the experience through tui. The bus turned up 25 minutes late without any email or message regarding this. When I spoke to the hotel rep, he was very rude and stated that as I didn't book through, he couldn't help me, even though I booked through the tui app. He then rang the experience guide and he informed me that the bus was due at 915 and I should have received a message about this, which I hadnt

Uns wurde von unserem TUI Guide eine Fahrt mit einem Segelboot mit Liege Möglichkeiten und Badestopp versprochen. Bekommen haben wir eine Fahrt auf einem alten Frachter der uns nur an einer Bucht vorbei gefahren hat ohne anzuhalten, wo wir den anderen Booten zusehen durften wie sie schwimmen gehen. Zudem saßen wir 2 std hin und 2 std zurück auf alten brüchigen Plastik Stühlen wie aus einem Fußball Stadion. Im Großen und Ganzen war das ein vergeudeter Tag den wir so nicht wieder bekommen.

Départ prévu à 7h30 mais finalement decale à 8h30 dans prévenir. Arrivée sur l ile à 12h15 Départ de l'île à 16h alors qu'il était noté 18h!!! Déplacement sur l'île pour une durée inférieure à 4h alors qu il était noté " journée sur l ile" Déplacement non rentable Impossible de faire quoi que ce soit sur une su courte durée. Très déçu de ce déplacement car 6h de transport pour moins de 4h sur place.

La visite de l’île est très jolie, maintenant le temps de trajet hôtel-bateau-île de Symi est bien trop long ! Nous aurions aimer avoir les précisions de ce temps de trajet (7h dans la journée ). Trop long pour le peu de temps sur l’île de ce fait.

Overall, a really nice little day out. What I would suggest though is a better way of getting people back on the boat at both Symi and the monestary. No queueing system resulted in what could only be described as ‘a mob’ of people all pushing through a crowd to get back on the boat- absolutely no regard for children in this group of people, and even the poor crew were shouting trying to get people to stop pushing and show some regard for children trying to get on.

Mauvaise information lors de la réservation. Nous pensions être libres toute la journée sur l île nord. Nous avons pris Simy libre pour louer un bateau sur place, pas pour visiter le monastère. Concernant le ferry c'est inadmissible. Il polue ÉNORMÉMENT. Les gaz d échappement sont tellement énormes que l'odeur était présente partout. Obligés de se mettre sur le pont en plein vent pour limiter l odeur. Résultat, nous sommes rentrés à l'hotel complètement nauséeux !

Ma mère est en fauteuil roulant mais l'équipage as pris en charge immédiatement,ils soulever le fauteuil pour passer la marche. A bord ils nous prévenez au fur et a mesure.nous avons pu visiter l'île de Simy Pour la visite à l'église de St Michel (1H) ma mère as préférée resté dans le bateau, elle as vue l'équipage nettoyé les tables et le sol . La guide as été aussi très bienveillante malgré le monde en retour.

The guide was very helpful and gave a clear overview of the trip. The boat going was only 50 minutes. Three hours is more than enough time to spend on the island. Our only complaint is the added stop for the Monastery as we had not booked this. Most people were tired by this point and we did not arrive back to Rhodes Port until 5pm so it was a very long day. Overall, the experience was great and a definite must do!

It was a long walk from the coach to the boat we were told it would be a few steps. My mum is 92 and it was very tiring. Rep English was not good and she not understand us nor us her. Only 3 hours on Symi as we had to back on boat to honestly which we had not booked and did not want want to see. We would of preferred hour time on Symi and boat straight back but it took 4 hours with the trip and wait. Another long walk to coach when we got of boat our coach was along way again other coaches

Lovely day out, well organised, plenty of time to relax in Symi, grab some lunch, paddle in the sea and do some shopping - visit to the Monestry afterwards was very interesting as we had never visited a monestry - TUI rep was very helpful - letting us know which coach and boat to get on. Highly recommended day out, Symi is simply beautiful.

Le bateau au départ de Symi est parti avec 5 mn d’avance et nous laissé sur le quai alors qu’il n’avait pas encore relevé la passerelle. Nous avions choisi la formule visite libre et non le monastère ce qui nous aurait permis de rester 1 h de plus sur l’île . Rien n’indiquait que ce détour était prévu et grâce à un passager resté en rade comme nous nous avons rejoint le bateau au monastère en taxi. De la même façon le bateau est à nouveau repart avec 5 mn d’avance .au total 6 h de traversée AR !

Volgens de tourgids bestaat de trip Symi free time tour niet meer. Bezoek aam het klooster is verplicht. De boot brengt je naar Sym ongeveeri 2 uur varen, dan 2 5 uur vrije tijd op Symi. Dan vaart de boot naar het klooster en vertrekt na 45min daarvandaan weer naar Rhodos Stad. Het is een soort veerdienst, let op. Afvaarttijden zijm zeer strikt 1400 is 1355 trossen los. Ben je niet op tijd laten ze je staan, is gebeurd. Tourgids checkt niet of je weer aan boord bent, eigen verantwoordelijkheid.

We zijn maar 3 uur in het dorpje geweest wat veel te kort was en daarna een uur mett de boot naar een klooster waar we maar een half uurtje hadden. Dit stond niet in de beschrijving en dit hadden we ook niet gewild. We hebben meer op de boot gezeten dan daadwerkelijk wat gezien te hebben

Lovely trip but the boat was overcrowded and that is in low season Also doesn’t mention that if you have data roaming on your phone it will pick you up as arriving in turkey as you sail back to the monastery and charge you

Symi ust eine traumhaft schöne Insel. Schade dass man nicht informiert wird dass man mehr auf dem Schiff anstatt auf der Insel verbringt

This trip is very good value, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. The stop on the way back to go visit the Panormitis Monastery was an extra special treat we were not expecting. The three hours in Symi gave us plenty of time to walk around, get a coffee, and later a lovely lunch right on the harbour side. It certainly was one of the best days of our holiday.

Un peu dommage que l on a du prendre le car plus loin que notre hôtel alors que le chauffeur est repassé juste à l hotel a côté de celui où on etait dommage , le trajet du bateaux est asser long aussi sinon tout etait bien

Thoroughly enjoyed the trip to the beautiful Island of Symi. Well worth a visit and highly recommend really glad I went.

Ultimately this is a 4 hour ferry trip for a 3 hour visit to Symi, so plan accordingly. If you want to visit the monastery, then you will need to either go on a different TUI tour with this included or get a taxi/walk to the top of the hill. The town was busy in some places, peaceful in others. We had snacks and drinks, swam in the sea and wandered around but found we struggled to kill the time as we hadn’t planned properly.

Je bent lang onderweg voor korte tijd op het eiland. 2u heen en 2u terug per boot om 3 - 3,5u op het eiland te zijn. Symi is wel het bezoek waard. Prachtig eilandje!

Der ganze Ausflug hat uns sehr gut gefallen aber wir wurden nicht richtig über die Zeiten die wir auf Symi verbringen konnten informiert. Wir waren anstatt 5 Stunden,wie es uns gesagt wurde, nur 3 Stunden auf der Insel .Den Rest der Zeit waren wir auf der Fähre,sehr lange

Den Service würde ich mit 0 bezeichnen, da wir nicht das bekommen hatten was wir gebucht hatten und darüber wurden wir erst bei der Ankunft bei dem Boot informiert. Da etwas mit dem Boot nicht stimmte, mussten wir die Reise zum Kloster mit antreten, was wir nicht gebucht hatten und uns somit Zeit auf der Insel Symi genommen wurde.

We would have hoped a little more free time in Symi. Please be aware that the free time in Symi is 3 hours, many were surprised by that. The trip included a lot of sitting in a boat, but overall was a good experience. Symi is beautiful! 9.00 boat leaves Rodos 11.00 arrival in Symi town 14.00 boat leaves Symi town 15.00 arrival at the monastery 16.00 boat leaves the monastery 18.00 back in Rodos

Symi war sehr schön,aber der Ausflug ist nicht wie geplant abgelaufen. Wir hätten eigentl.Symi mit Transfer gebucht,hatten dann aber noch einen 1stündigen Aufenthalt bei einen Kloster,und insgesamt eine 3stündige Rückfahrt,bei der Hitze nicht so toll. Wir waren statt 8 Stunden wie geplant 11 Stunden unterwegs

Received a message from Tui the night before to say pick up time had changed from 8:05 to 8:25. However we decided to go outside a little earlier and the coach was there waiting for us. It seems we were late and nearly missed the trip . The pick up time had not changed! When we arrived at Rhodes we were told that we had to go to the monastery adding a minimum of 2 extra hours onto our day. This was not communicated prior. The reps reply was she would rather be at home and couldn’t do anything

Gute Organisation der Fahrt. Alle Informationen bekommen, die wichtig und spannend waren. Leider war die Zeit auf Symi recht knapp. Es gäbe noch so viel mehr zu entdecken.

Het eiland Symi is prachtig en zeer de moeite waard. De boot is best een lange zit, maar wel goed te doen met de kennis dat je naar Symi gaat. De bustransfer bleek vrij overbodig, en zeker na een 2 uur durende terugtocht op de boot vonden wij het wel fijn om even te kunnen lopen ipv de bus te nemen.
