Excellent

Our driver Andreas was brilliant; funny yet informative and he really helped to break the ice and get the group to bond. He also took great photos for us! The scenery was lovely and the itinerary was exciting and varied. Our favourite part of the day was Privelli beach- absolutely beautiful! We could have had a bit longer at Spilli as we had to dash around the folk museum which was run by a really friendly and enthusiastic man. I’d recommend this trip- it was a holiday highlight for us!

A lovely scenic trip, with a great informative guide in Yohannes. Only criticism is that I would have preferred to spend a bit longer in Spili village and less time at the beach stop off - an hour & 45 mins was too long. Definitely recommended.

We had an amazing day trip. Our guide was brilliant, getting us all to introduce ourselves to each other which certainly broke the ice. His knowledge was tremendous and the off road tracks taking us to otherwise unseen parts of the island, were indeed brilliant. Photo opportunities were given at all stopping places. The vultures he "whistled in" were great. Crete is a place we will never forget and this trip brought the island to life in a way we didn't think possible. Thank you Tui.

The trip is well thought, with stops highlighting all the kind of places of interest you can find on Crete (bio farm, gorges, tropical beach, traditional taverna) and putting everything together, guides are entertaining and great at making everyone comfortable, breaking the ice when the group meets.

The guide was excellent, really polite and informative. A great variety of places visited and a wonderful, plentiful lunch. A minor note that the journey to Preveli beach is rather steep and a little slippery in places so the emphasis on sensible shoes should maybe be more explicit.

The tour guide (Andreas) was excellent and the tour itself offered a greater insight into Crete. We stopped off at a gorge, farm where we tasted lovely produce, an amazing beach where we then had lunch. The value for money was excellent and I think the description actually undersell how good it is and what is on offer.

What a great day, highly recommend this experience. We were picked up promptly from our hotel, our guide was so informative and interesting as well as being good fun. We saw so much of the island, lots of hidden away gems and offroading, a good pair of trainers is needed. Stopped off at a beautiful local farm where we were treated to local honey, jam, herbs, bread and some local drinks. Saw gorges, birds of prey, beaches and explored the mountains. A fabulous lunch in a taverna at Preveli.

Loved the day....our driver and guide, Michael was lovely, very friendly and knew everything there was to know about Crete. Ask him anything and he will tell you. The drive was fun and the views were amazing. Stopped for a lovely coffee break and was given some traditional snacks to try before we set off for more amazing views then a beach stop with a lovely Cretan lunch. Would definitely recommend this trip, a brilliant day out!

Wat problemen gehad met boeken van de excursie wat door TUI erg beroerd is opgepakt. Zelfs op de uiteindelijke dag van excursie was het nog bijna mis gegaan gezien TUI ons onjuiste informatie had gegeven. Zelf gelukkig kunnen corrigeren. De informatie welke vooraf over de excursie word gegeven via de website van TUI komt nauwelijks overeen met hetgeen we daadwerkelijk gedaan hebben. Gelukkig waren we gezegend met een ontzettend leuke, spontane gids welke het voor ons een topdag heeft gemaakt.

Great local guide and lovely trip to see more of the middle of Crete down off beaten tracks into small villages. Bumpy in a 4x4 so be prepared to be slightly uncomfortable but worth the views, great day out.

Our driver "Michael" was great; he knew a lot about the history of Crete, the local culture, forna, flora, geology, etc. He also drove very well! We also had a superb traditional lunch.

Michael was an a wonderful guide and full of information about the local places we visited plus an insight beyond because of being local. A fantastic lunch was prepared and an encouragement to mix with others- very welcome if you so wished. Our boys said it was the best day out!

Jason our driver was excellent. He had great history knowledge and he was very funny too he involved everyone which was great. Lunch was excellent and very tasty.
