Durante tu tiempo libre en la ciudad, puedes visitar la catedral gótica, dar un paseo por el paseo de la Talvera para disfrutar de las vistas de las montañas desde la orilla del río, o pasear por las bonitas calles y plazas de la ciudad, curiosear por las tiendas y probar algunas especialidades locales como el strudel de manzana.Y en la siguiente etapa del viaje, subirás a un teleférico en Bolzano y ascenderás a la meseta de Renon en cuestión de minutos. Entonces llegará el momento de emprender el viaje en tren de vía estrecha a través de paisajes bucólicos y bonitos pueblos. A 20 minutos a pie por la naturaleza se encuentran las famosas pirámides de tierra de la meseta, que bien merecen una visita, aunque hay que tener en cuenta que hay que caminar aproximadamente un kilómetro en ligera subida. Estos extraños pilares pueden alcanzar alturas de hasta 30 metros y, mientras una pirámide desaparece, más arriba en la misma ladera, la naturaleza ya está formando una nueva.

This was an amazing experience. Balzano was beautiful. The views from the cable car were breathtaking and the Alpine railway was very cute. The final stop felt as if you were in Austria and the lodge were we had lunch was stunning. If you are being picked up from Garda it is a very long day. We got on the coach at 7.30am and finally got back at 6.30 pm.

I didn't enjoy the bus journey, the bus had terrible air con as did the Verona trip. The bus to lake Malveno was a massive upgrade. Otherwise it was a fantastic trip.

We didn’t go on the trip in the end. We only found out the truth about the duration of the trip on the night before. It was 13 hours in total after we were originally told 8 hours and we would have to pay for our own taxis to and from the pick up after we had already paid 75 euros each. I was told I couldn’t have a refund. I also have a disability that restricts the amount of time I am able to spend on these trips. I felt it was just hard sell with very limited supporting information.

This trip runs on Mondays, Bolzano is a pretty town and is noted for its museum containing mummified remains of ‘the ice man’ The museum is closed on Mondays, so why do the trip on a Monday? The cable car and panoramic train were very good. We then stopped at a pub near the earth pyramids, that required an uphill walk to view. The average age of the customers was over 70.There was nothing else to see, why not visit a small village like Merano. 2 hours at pub not acceptable. Very disappointed.

The trip was on the high side of cost for what was involved. The length of the trip was advised as being eight hours but ended up being nearly twelve. As we were some of the first people picked up we expected to be an early drop off this but this was not the case as we were the last.

This tour could have amazing but turned out to be an opportunity missed. We are a couple in our 70s and generally in good health but we and others could not keep up with the tour guide! At times the line of guests was 70 metres behind her. On the bus her information was limited. It felt like she was taking to herself and making jokes where she was the only one laughing! The train ride was not panoramic. We and other had to stand throughout. Could see the scenery or take a photograph.

I know that this is probably outside your control but the fact that the bus was almost 30 minutes late impacted our ability to make the most of the tour eg we didn't have time to get to the viewpoint of the earth pyramids and reduced the free time in Bolzano.. Additionally, the tour was on a Monday and we were unable to visit any of the museums in Bolzano. (Museums closed). As a coeliac, more information of food choices ahead of the visit. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative.

Despite the long time spent on the coach, the journey was enjoyable as the scenery was quite magnificent. The agency guide was perhaps a little underwhelming in her contribution, but that didn't detract from the experience. The only downside for us was the last stop to see the 'pyramids'. Even allowing for the fact that access to them wasn't possible because of a landslide, the time there was too long and most people were just waiting around. The journey back was slow and late arriving back.

A great opportunity to see a different part of Italy and to hear about its history and culture. The town of Bolzano was charming with lots to see. We thoroughly enjoyed the cable car ride, which delivered 15 minutes of panoramic views.

Everything about the trip was very enjoyable. From pick up to our return we had a fabulous day. The weather was perfect which helped us enjoy the incredible views along the way, and whilst in Bolzano. The cable car and train ride opened up magnificent mountain vistas and the stop for lunch in a typical hostilary was equally enjoyable. Highly recommend this excursion.

There are too many on this tour for one guide. Bolzano was nice but not enough information about the place provided before the tour to understand the topical places to visit in the small Amount of time there. The so called panoramic train journey was a joke. It was so packed that it was clearly unsafe., uncomfortable and without a view. The restaurant at Renon was so full that they struggled to serve everyone in the available time. The food my wife and I had was horrible. Views were good.

The tour itself was great, enjoyed time in Bolzano, loved the cable car and little train ride. We had a problem with the length of the tour. Even given the traffic problems. You advertise it as an 8 hour day, acceptable, but it was 12 hours in total. The restaurant stop at the end was far too long, 1 hour would have been plenty, not 2, especially as some people took a picnic and there was nowhere to sit and eat it. The time we left the restaurant was the time we expected to be back in Garda

Tui Rep recommended tour and his description (Andres at Hotel Kristal Palace, Riva del Garda) was accurate. A full day with time in Bolsano and great scenic cable car and train ride which had wonderful views, including the Dolomites. Tour guide was friendly and informative and ample opportunities for refreshment and toilet requirements.

We traveled from Garda. The main issue was the quantity of time spent travelling. This pick ups in the north part of the lake added significant time to the overall journey. Approx 30 minutes to the morning and more than 90 mins on the return for a total of 6 passengers. The guide was superb though and the trip was pleasant aside from the time spent on the coach.

Trip was to long on the coach took us 4 hours to get home from final destination in the Dolomites. Which was never explained when we booked. 12 hours with around 6 hours on a coach is far too long for a day trip. All the people I traveled with said “if we wanted a trip in the mountains we would of booked a holiday in the mountains” Personally we booked a trip to Verona the next day and my Wife didn’t make it as she was to tried the next morning.

The trip took over 12hrs, most of which was travelling. The Guide and Driver were fabulous but 50+ people is too many for a tour like this. It took 2hrs to pick up and same again for drop off. Could add half hour to Bolzano to allow linch and sightseeing then do the cable car, with time to explore at the top then the train ride and miss out the stop for lunch at the end to cut time off the whole day.

Benzano was lovely but the shops are high end so expect to spend a lot or grab yourself a coffee in the square. Cable car is a 10minute walk and train gets busy so dont be polite and just jump on. Renon for the earth pyramids which is a 10 minute walk is on a slight incline from coach drop off. Its a little anticlimactic. The restaurant where the coach drops you off takes forever to get served, people left without paying. The Rep was amazing and very informative. Very long day overall.

Our guide (sorry, can’t remember name) was fantastic - clear info about the day’s schedule, friendly personality and excellent historical / geographical commentary. The itinerary was probably just right - starting in Bolzano with optional visit to the Oetzi museum, cable car, train ride. Not perhaps in Tui’s control but 3 of 4 in our family picked the “wrong” meal for lunch but appreciate the location was great for earth pyramids. Overall, maybe the best day trip we’ve ever had on a holiday.

The only complain is that the coach didn't pick up from our hotel as all the other trips had. We had to meet at the bus station in Garda. Our hotel was a good 25 minutes walk and having mobility issues I couldnt manage it, especially as pick up was for 7.25am. We had to get a taxi at considerable cost of €25 and again potentially return of €25. Yes I have claimed the cost back and there was no quibble from TUI, how is this viable for TUI if everyone complained? Max 5 minutes for coach. A rethink

The cable car was amazing as were the fantastic views. Train ride was fun also. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely value for money. The downside was Tui must make it clear that the journey time to Bolzano is 1 1/2 hrs from last pick up, our journey took 3 hrs. Too much time given at the restaurant on the way back, the 2hrs would have been more interesting and fun if allowed to stay at the top by the cable car. The restaurant had tasty apple strudel and pancakes.

Your coach on both our trips are far to hot other tourists also very very uncomfortable on them in extreme heat ,tried to talk to tour guide but said it was maximum air con on coach,really not good enough, duty of care to your tourists whilst travelling with your company

The guide was excellent as was the time management and the time in each location. Having done the Dolomites day with TUI 3 years ago, which was amazing, this was just a nice excursion. Bolzano was very city like, with some intermingled pretty buildings and lots of beggars. But I appreciate it worked due to the rest of the day. Re the train and the cable car I would have scored way higher if we'd had unique access to these and not squished in with members of the public.

Great sightseeing up in the mountains, guide Frederick was very nice,friendly and informative throughout the day. It was lovely in Bolzano it has history lots of bars and shops, slow paced day then cable car ride to Renon then long wait for train plenty of seats amazing views but nothing to do in Renon just food in one restaurant (not the best) then back on the coach. Too much time on the bus 3.5 hours each way, probably could have done this trip ourselves quicker by public transport or car.

The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The free time in Bolzano was nice as it meant we could explore as we liked rather than walk round in the group of 50+. The cable car was excellent and we had fantastic views, similarly the panoramic train was good and most of our group got a seat on the train. Personally, the stop for lunch at a hotel followed by another small walk after could have been left off to make the day shorter as it ended up being a 12+ hour day with travel time.

Well organised and structured. Frederick, our guide was fantastic. Giving lots of information. Plenty of free time in Bolzano or time for the museum. Walk to cable car, hardly any waiting time. Cable car journey was great and then a short wait for the train. Glorious views, stop for lunch and then walk to the Earth Pyramids. Wonderful day. Would thoroughly recommend.

We were stuffed on to the cable car all i could see is people's armpits. The train ride was just the same absolutely rammed. Dont get me wrong I enjoyed the 1 hour in Bolzano but would of liked more time. All in all we travelled for 8 hours for 2 hours split by 1 hour in Bolzano and 1 hour in a German restaurant. They do not offer what is advertised.

A bit more time in Bolzano would have been nice. Rather than walk group up to main square slowly, just point it out and let folks go. Train ride up Renon valley was like sardines in a tin. Depends on how many are waiting at time. The views are good though, and spectacular when you get near ‘pyramids’. Wouldn’t have got here otherwise, as was staying at Bardolino, so well worth the trip.

Way, way to long on the coach just getting to Balzono. The stop here seemed pointless, it was just shops. The cable car ride was excellent offering great views across the countryside. The train ride however was just like being on a commuter train in rush hour. No seats and views of people's armpits! All in all a waste of money and wouldn't recommend this trip to anyone.

Some beautiful scenery however it was spoilt by the tour guide who constantly repeated the same information. The walk from the bus to Bolzano town and return was awful, the guide just walked too quickly for 50 people in. Busy town to keep up. The cable car and train ride were absolutely crammed and so much so that we could not enjoy the scenery at all on the train....it felt dangerously overcrowded. Did enjoy the earth pyramids, the scenery around there was beautiful.

This experience had its good points, but bad points too. Firstly, the guide was excellent, especially having to work with a group of over 50 people which was just too much. The bus trip along the lakeside was excellent as it was a clear day. Bolzano is a pretty mundane city, not much to see other than the ice man, but not enough time for that. The 20 minute cable ride to Rhenon was spectacular. The train ride was far too busy, standing room only. The pyramids were excellent. A 6/10 trip.

pick up on time, interesting guide, good toilet stops, unfortunately the museum the guide got us all interested in and walked to was closed on Mondays which was a bit of a let down , but great trip otherwise

The weather wasn t great which I know can t be planned for - couldn t see much on train ride and also couldn t do rock statues at all. However to walk a tour group through a town for 15 mins to a museum which is never open on a Monday shows poor planning!! Also didn t particularly rate the place for lunch - little choice, expensive for what it was and no alternative places although had been built up by guide as amazing place which makes you feel they must have been on commission.

The train journey part of the trip is meant to be a short journey on small mountain train to view the beautiful panoramic scenery, In reality you are all rammed into the carriages, as there are so many other tours visiting at the same time, and you therefore get to see nothing, as you are more concerned about keeping upright and not standing on other people’s toes. The times of the journey could be planned so other tour groups where not using the train at the same time.

The guide was amazing apart from her really good knowledge, she had a great personality & made the day very special indeed. The scenery was spectacular, we also had fantastic weather which made such a difference in the mountains.

Very scenic trip worth every penny but a long day. The guide was very knowledgeable. The cable car was quite an experience and the train trip was relaxing. It does get busy depending on how many tour groups arrive at the same time but our guide was fantastic at getting our group on with most getting a seat. The views of the south tyrol were fabulous

The Guide staff made the day with her explanation of the areas we drove through and the people who live there. My wife and I enjoyed the cable car ride and train ride up to the plato. It’s was a long day and if a make a comment would be the pick up of passages at the north of the lake made the homeward journey long back to Bardolino especially as it was during rush hour.

Our guide was friendly and well informed. She managed the group well with humour, keeping to the timings. The trip had different components, ie Bolzano, cable car and rail journey which complemented each other well. We were fortunate with the weather and the views were spectacular. There were opportunities for comfort breaks. It was a shame that the museum was closed so we didn’t have the opportunity of seeing Otsi, however I suspect that viewing him would have put us under some time pressure.

I thoroughly enjoyed this trip - the tour was extremely knowledgeable & very friendly. The bus driver was brilliant at navigating the narrow & hairpin bends. Not everyone was able to sit on the train, but it was such a lovely ride with beautiful views, which I thought made up for the slight inconvenience

The Guide and coach driver were excellent. I felt the trip was far too long at nearly 12 hours. Going to look at the mud columns and have 1 hour 30 mins there was a waste. We would of preferred to have a little more time in Bolzano and after the Train ride head home, so you got back about 4pm instead of 7pm.

Enjoyed the experience . Guide went out of her way to make sure we had a lovely time . However . 2xhourscin Bolzano too long . Canke car experience amazing . Train ride broke all health and safety rules . Absolutely packed . Even our guide didn't make it . Not a,great experience . Spoiled it for everyone. Restaurant wonderful .

A fabulous day with the most amazing scenery. However, there were some challenges which did impact on the trip for everyone. TUI need to make alterations to their descriptions of the day to include activity levels and the mobility required. An elderly lady walking extremely slowly using a frame made it extremely difficult for everyone. The whole group was left on the train, the guide and lady were behind because she could get on the train, not what we paid for.

The train trip was worthless . You couldn't see anything,train was packed with people . On arrival to destination no time to explore , we were taken to a restaurant.The excursion was clearly advertised no suitable for those with walking difficulties however they were allowed on trip . Therefore consideration had to be given to them which slowed the group down. That shouldn't be allowed to book when severe walking restrictions . Not impressed . Guide and driver couldn't do much . Tui rep fault !

The only part of this tour i dislike was the train part. We were on the train which was to full and i and my wife were pushed against the train window and they were still more people being allowed on. Not a good way to travel. The rest of the tour spot on glad we seen this part on Italy. The tour guide was very good.

Very informative guide. Only negative and not the guides fault. The train was busy and a lit of older people had to stand for the journey. Hotel for meal was excelkebnt

We really liked the cable and train ride with amazing views didn't think bolzano was worth it and journey home took 4 hrs to get home ,so I think bolzano should be dropped and go straight to the cable car and train ride
