On this full day tour, you'll have the chance to see the sights on a panoramic drive, then get the lowdown on a guided walking tour of the heart of the city. Martí, one of our local guides, says, "Valencia has really come out of the shadows in recent decades, and now stands shoulder to shoulder with Barcelona and Madrid in terms of art, culture and cuisine. Our old town, one of the largest in Europe, is packed with sights, with the Silk Exchange shining brightest of all."You'll start off with a panoramic city drive for an overview of the town and an explanation of some of the major sights. Next, you'll set off on a guided walking tour around the city. Your expert local guide will show you around, sharing local insight into the history and explaining some of the highlights. When the tour is over, you'll have free time to explore further, grab a bite to eat or browse the shops.The streets around Calle Colon, a modern boulevard, boast all kinds of stores – from global high street brands to luxury goods shops as well as the latest in technology. There are also smaller, original boutiques selling haute couture clothing. Martí adds, "If all that shopping tires you out, pop over to the art nouveau Colon Market. It's evolved into an epicurean food hall and is a go-to, not just for the nibbles but for the design of the building itself. It's a good spot to take a break at one of the cafés."

Pick up and drop off was perfect as we had a taxi from Calpe to catch the excursion coach, very smooth transfer. Unexpected fiesta time in Valencia added to the fantastic experience, maybe could have done with more time in the city of arts and science and less free time in Valencia.

Weather was atrocious which is nature. If guides are available as they were then split into language groups, instead large group soaked in pouring rain enduring English then Dutch at each stop could have been avoided by splitting group. Ensure everyone is off the bus before walking off, tour left whilst people still on bus, rep using bus clock which was wrong to state return time which gave everyone using real time less available time off bus. Would be a good tour as a lot to see and learn.

It was raining so heavily the tour should have been cancelled , we were like drown rats with squelching feet. Surly we could have waited until the heavy downpours finished. The tour guide was speaking more in Dutch than English

Het goot water zodat de tour letterlijk in het water viel .Daardoor was het een zeer ingekorte tour .De vrije tijd was daardoor ook niet leuk.Het was echt een verloren dag en weggesmeten geld.Ik zou hem wel eens willen herdoen met mooi weer.

De bustour door de stad was totaal zinloos, geen enkele toegevoegde waarde. Zonde van de tijd. Gids/reisleider wist wel veel maar praatte eigenlijk teveel. Was mooi dat hij vertaalde wat de lokale gids zei maar vertelde ook nog in het Engels wat de lokale gids ook vertelde. Duurde veel te lang, schoot niet op. Eigenlijk niet veel bijzonders gehoord of gezien. De afgelegde route was ook in 15 minuten te lopen. Had beter AI als gids kunnen gebruiken.

Mail ivm start uur is belangrijk. We hebben het uur van vertrek van een andere reiziger moeten vernemen. We kregen te weinig info op voorhand. We hadden ook te weinig tijd voor ontbijt.Dit terwijl we met juiste info wel de tijd zouden gehad hebben. Ophaling was om 08:37 u aan Madeira Centro.

Hadden speciaal deze tour geboekt omwille van de Nederlandse begeleiding. Spijtig dat de tour uiteindelijk in 2 talen werd uitgevoerd en waar wij juist niet voor gekozen hadden. Gids kent goed de informatie maar had nogal vlug de neiging om steeds in het Engels de info te geven. Dit ter grote ergenis van de grotere groep Nederlandstaligen. Chauffeur had behoorlijk last van vermoeidheid wat te zien was aan zijn rijstijl.

Would have been better to have split the English speaker and dutch speaking group for the tour as the guide spoke more in dutch, it took a long time to translate so we were stood about waiting. Anne-Marie was wonderful (rep) very good info on booking. The coach trip was good and Valencia was beautiful.

Als we dan toch wat moeten zeggen: De gids deed het in het Engels vervolgens kwam de Nederlandse gids. Had gesplitst kunnen worden. Mensen gaan dan toch kletsen onder elkaar etc. Kost ook wat tijd.

Un grand dommage , nous français . Notre guide ne parlait pas un mot français , nous étions 8 qui avons écouté pendant 2 h du hollandais et de l’anglais !!! Heureusement notre guide sur place parlait un peu notre langue et nous a fait partager la visite

Sariel was een top gids en is dus zeker aan te raden als gids.Ondaks dat hij zich niet echt fit voelde heeft hij het voortreffelijk gedaan met het uitleggen over bezienswaardigheden die we hebben gedaan.Onderweg naar Valencia kregen we ook goede Uitleg over wat we te zien kregen.

In 202 de toer ook gedaan . Verschil korte rondleiding met 2,personen Spaans dame vertaald in Engels en de tui gids vertaald in Nederlands kost veel tijd . Rondreis in de zelfde bus en niet in een panoramische bus . Gewoon een bus met wel heel maar ook heel wijnig been ruimte . De gids niet te verstaan

The tour was dual language, Dutch and English, which meant that some of the points of interest during the coach trip had already missed by the time they were mentioned in English. Although the split of people was about 50/50, I felt that the guide concentrated more on the Dutch customers

The Valencian guide frogmarched us from square to square. She stood waving her arms about, we couldn't hear her but the snippets we did hear she just said what kind of food the various restaurants sold !!!!! We left the group and wandered about on our own. We were then taken to the museum of arts and science. Very large buildings but we did't get much time to look around. Waste of our time and horrible day.

opgestapt op bus om 8u30, dan tussenstop 30 min wegrestaurant autostrade was voor mij overbodig, kwamen maar aan in Valencia om 12u, gegidste toer van ruim 1 uur met hele goede gids (Maria), het was dan al 13u geweest en de resterende tijd tot 15u30 was vrije tijd en die was voor mij te kort om nog andere bezienswaardigheden te bezoeken, bij terugrit nog een stop van 30 min aan kunst- en wetenschap gebouwen is te kort, reisleider van TUI was Sariel en dat was TOP

Juan was a very informative and knowledgeable guide. He talked us through the history of both the area and the city. He was thoughtful when choosing shady spots to gather the group together and allowed us free time to explore and grab lunch. It was topped off by routing our departure by The Mestalla, the home standoff Valencia CF. His namesake coach driver was a professional personified.

Veel in de tourringcarbus ipv panoramische bus,veel gezeten in de bus. Wandelroutes was waardeloos,werd afgeraffeld en geen tijd om foto's te maken werd geen rekening gehouden met de ouderen die wat langzamer waren, waardoor de helft verloren ging over wat er verteld werd. Na de tour weinig eigen tijd, je wilt wat eten en drinken en daarna op tijd bij de bus zijn.daarna naar moderne gebouwen. Half uur de tijd. Ook druk en toilet bezoek en toen weer naar de bus om terug te gaan. Teleurgesteld.

We zouden met een panoramische bus door Valencia gaan, had ik begrepen, maar dat was niet het geval. De reisleidster had er flink de pas in, voordat we bij haar waren, had ze haar verhaal al gedaan. Er waren best veel ouderen bij, die konden het ook niet bijbenen. Al bij al vrij teleurstellend....

We were 4 adults, and we enjoyed this trip a lot. Sario was an excellent guide and explained the day well. He gave us lots of information regarding Valencia. Maria was also our guide who took us through the streets of Valencia and gave us the history of the churches and other monuments. They took the time to answer any questions that people had, and once we reached the centre, we then had free time to go off and explore on our own. This trip is definitely one to do!!! Will return on a city break

De gids vertelde heel bevlogen in de bus over wat er te zien was onderweg en over de stad. Ik had gekozen voor de guided tour, dus kreeg eerst een uur uitleg over de architectuur. Jammer dat er er er verplicht een Spaanse gids mee moest. Zijn Engels was slecht en eigenlijk wist onze eigen gids meer en zijn Engels was perfect. Daarna eigen tijd om deze prachtige stad te zien. Om elke hoek was er weer iets moois. Ook het nieuwe gedeelte kunnen zien. Lange dag, maar zeer de moeite waard.

Ingen velkommen før etter en halvtime, bortkastet 30 min pitstopp på veien, guide oversatte til nederlandsk hele tiden blir mye prating, tui guide var nederlandsk tolk for guide i València veldig forstyrrende, tui guide står med røyken i handa under guide turen, tui guide hadde en forventning om tips på slutten av turen.

Zeer fijne Nederlandstalige gids met erg veel kennis . Veel bijgeleerd. Ik was tevreden. Heel mooie uitstap. Ook de tocht met de Engelstalige gids in combi met de Nederlandse vertaling was super. ?? Leuk dat we na de oude stad ook nog naar het moderne gedeelte gingen voor een stop. Thx

De wandeling door oude stad met de Spaanse gids was geen succes. De man sprak alleen Engels en was moeilijk te verstaan. We hebben wel mooie dingen gezien. De hele dag. De panoramische tour herken ik niet. We reden met de bus naar het centrum en de gids van Tui vertelde eea. Hoezo panoramisch?

We saw some lovely historical and interesting buildings, the only criticism of the whole trip was the guide taking us round was too broadly Spanish speaking and therefore made it difficult to understand what he was saying which was a bit annoying, The TUI rep on the coach was fab.
