Only accessible by boat from Puerto Vallarta, Las Caletas beach has a lost-world feel to it. You'll sail over to this jungle-backed cove and live a day of thrilling adventures in Mexico's very own Garden of Eden. Snorkelling, kayaking, nature trails… the list of available activities is incredible. And when you need to chill, there's always a floating hammock to decamp to.From the moment you arrive, you're free to live the dream. Head to the coconut seller to have a fresh coconut drink. Or snorkel in the crystal clear water in search of colourful fish or master the paddleboard. Away from the water, there's a cooking lesson, a nature trail to discover tropical vegetation, or a visit to the parrot and monkey centres.And for the kids, there are plenty of adventure areas too. Lunch will be served in the beachfront restaurant and there's entertainment provided on board the boat back to Puerto Vallarta.

Due to local transportation laws, you must take a taxi to the meeting point to start your excursion. The cost varies from hotel to hotel but is around USD 10.00 each way
Excursion meeting points will need to be confirmed with your TUI Rep in resort (or call the number shown on your voucher)
If your hotel is based in Downtown Puerto Vallarta, and you use the API Marina to access your excursion, an additional tax of MXN 32.00 (approximately) pesos per person will be required. This is a federal tax
Daily schedule may vary without notice due to weather or sea conditions
Access to the Adventure Cove (optional activities like Flowrider, ocean-bound zipline, banana boat etc) is USD 20.00 per person and needs to be paid on spot or during check-in
Optionals for an extra fee (height and age restrictions may apply): Flowride surf pool, rattlesnake waterslide, slide'n'fly waterslide, spinner rotating inflatable, banana boat, ocean zip-line, climbing challenge step-up, spa treatments, scuba diving activities, marine life encounter (stingray and sea lion), paddle board with a sea lion and open bar
Bring a valid ID for snorkel equipment
Daily schedule may vary without notice due to weather or sea conditions
Life jackets are mandatory during all water activities
Guests have the option of paying for alcoholic drinks upon arrival for USD 20.00 per person
For RattleSnake slide, Step Up, Ocean zipline, banana boat and Flowrider, minimum age is 9 years, minimum height is 120cm and maximum weight is 118kg
For Slide'n'Fly slide and spinning, rotating inflatable, minimum age is 15 years, minimum height is 150cm, minimum weight is 50kg and maximum weight is 118kg
Children must be supervised by an adult (over 18 years) at all time

Mescal tasting was both fun and very informative. Abril was an engaging and funny hostess. The snorkeling was very fun, we saw lots of interesting fish. The parrots were also very cool. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

The island itself was great however having to pay your travel to and from the dock was very disappointing. I feel the excursion itself was expensive and then having to purchase a taxi both ways along with all the tipping was not worth it. For that reason I would not recommend and I would not return.

Loved the whole experience. Only thing we wish we had an option for a longer stay, at least 2 or 3 more hours. Maybe offering a full day experience like 9-6 would have been perfect.
