Wat te verwachten
Als shoppen en sightseeing in de op twee na grootste stad van Spanje je wel aanstaan, dan is deze dagtrip naar Valencia echt iets voor jou. Je gaat per bus naar de stad waar je vervolgens in je eigen tempo rondkijkt. Je bepaalt helemaal zelf wat je wil doen. Snuif gewoon de cultuur en de sfeer van deze historische stad op.Vanuit Benidorm reis je per bus naar Valencia, en het mooiste is dat je niet vanuit de buitenwijken je weg naar de oude binnenstad hoeft te vinden: je wordt pal in het centrum van de stad afgezet. Vanaf hier kun je de dag doorbrengen zoals je dat zelf wil.Shop erop los en strijk neer in lokale eetgelegenheden - de paella komt oorspronkelijk uit Valencia. En kuier op je gemak door de oude binnenstad, die een van de grootste van Spanje is. Er valt veel te ontdekken. Aan het einde van de dag ontmoet je je gids op het afgesproken tijdstip om terug te keren naar Benidorm.

The guide on the coach talked a little too much, & repeated himself often. But he was a really nice young man & better to have too much information rather than too little. I was on this tour last year too, therefore this time I went for the 'Valencia Your Way', giving me time to go to the other side, Bullring' of the city & take in the architecture. I had priced up to go by bus from Benidorm, but the price difference wasn't great, compared to this tour, & I knew where getting dropped off.

We hebben een leuk dagje Valencia gehad.had wat langer bij de stad van de wetenschap gemogen. Nu alleen stukje tuin en toilet gehad dat was jammer .bij andere excursies naar Valencia konden we makkelijk door het park over de brug trap naar beneden toiletten en koffie drinken.nu niet

Voor ons was de excursie naar Valencia geslaagd, de bus heeft ons afgezet bij het oude centrum van Valencia en hebben op eigen kracht al het moois kunnen bezichtigen. Daarna de mooie moderne bouwwerken van cultuur en wetenschappen kunnen bewonderen. Onze gids heeft ondanks dat hij eigenlijk onder de wol had moeten liggen vanwege verkoudheid en griep een anderhalve uur durende uiteenzetting gegeven over alles van Valencia en omgeving op de heenreis, dit zowel in het Engels als Nederlands, Top.

De panorama tour met bus hebben we niet gehad maar wel betaald, en 84€ voor door Valencia lopen vind ik toch best prijzig. En de eerste excursie begeleid door een Spaanse gids werd niet om fooi gevraagd, bij deze excursie dus wel.

We did the València your way excursion and the guide was so informative the views we saw were amazing we left at 8.40am and arrived back at 6.30pm we had 3.5 hours in Valencia to explore at our own pace it is well worth the money and the sights are unforgettable

I don't feel that we were dropped.in the right place as not a lot around. The main shops were quite a way to walk so never got to see them. The tour was in English and Dutch so half of the tour was repeated so don't feel enough time was spent explaining things. We were bored and ended up just sitting waiting for the coach way before the time. Then we were dropped by the museum of sciences for 30 mins, again not enough time to do anything but get a drink.

We hebben met zessen deelgenomen aan de excursie. 2 van ons in de leeftijd van 91 en 93. Zowel de chauffeur als de gids waren zeer behulpzaam bij het in en uitstappen en het opbergen en tevoorschijn halen van de rollators. De bustour is zeer aan te bevelen. De gids wist veel te vertellen over de omgeving en over Valencia. Samen met onze kinderen ook deel genomen aan de wandeling door de stad eveneens complimenten daarvoor. Een inspirerende dag met een mooie mix van oude en nieuwe architectuur ??

Erg leuke excursies het is natuurlijk een flinke rit vanaf albir maar daarin tegen hebben we bij deze excursie en de excursie naar guadalest en de watervallen reisleider sariel als ik zijn naam goed typ. een zeer fijne reisleider wist erg veel over de omgeving te vertellen en was ook erg enthousiast! We waren daarom ook de 2 de excursie erg blij dat hij er weer bij was al met al zeer aangename excursies

Genoten met een hoofdletter! De gids Sariel heeft veel informatie verteld in de bus; hij deed dat zowel in het Engels als in het Nederlands! Ook een tussenstop op de heenweg zodat iedereen nog even kon ontbijten/koffie drinken! En de stad Valencia is zéker een must see :-)

Guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable. Great idea to give his number to us incase of emergency. We were picked up first and to our delight we were dropped off first, great idea!! For us we would have preferred more time in Valencia rather than visit the science areas. Maybe that could be an option.

Valencia was a fantastic trip but could have been better if we had more time to explore. We didn’t want to venture to far from the pick up point incase we missed the bus. We had two young kids with us and at one point we stopped at a cafe in at a small square in the old town and we were approached by a ground of around ten young teenagers asking us to go on a trip to Barcelona for €3 each there were two older gentlemen with them. Hi we was dropped off at the old town and was told free time which was only 3 half hours.But we were dropped off so far away from the main town.So as I suffer with joint and back trouble saw nothing.So we ended spending our time in the train station getting a coffee and cafe for something to eat.So not what is advertised.Other people were not happy either.So we wasted our money.First time ever disappointed with a tui trip

Emilio absolutely made the trip. He gave us lots of information about the area. This was done with a great sense of humour & he made the whole experience very enjoyable. Valencia was beautiful but really the star of the day for us was Emilio as the guide.

We went to Valencia on the 16/01/25 ,first the tour guide Ellie was very good with her knowledge around the area and the driver who went out of is way to drop myself,partner and son at the football stadium . We then spent some time around Valencia itself ,what a lovely place to visit and then onto the science museum. We chose the free way cause we wanted to do our own thing, if you like to visit the cathedral and likes then the guided tour is best, but great value either way .

There was an addition to the tour that was not advertised,that cost us an hour in the city. It was the visit to the city of Life's and Science's. We were taken there with limited notice as the "second part of the tour" but the 30 minutes available made it little more than a toilet / coffee stop. If this is to be a part of the tour it should be advertised as such - it does not fit with "Valencia Your Way"

Great value day. Tour guide - excellent, interesting & knowledgeable about the journey and Valencia old town & history. Gave good suggestions about priorities to see. Coach poor, not only were the windows dirty but the seal in the double glazed unit in the large window next to us, was actually gone, meaning all we could see was a window that effectively was covered in condensation all the journey. Poor for 4 hours of travel and a panoramic tour of the city! as part of the day.

Pedro the driver and Juan the guide were both excellent. We left on time and arrived back on time, and the guide was very informative. The only real downside was the area in which we were dropped off in, it was a long way from the actual city centre with some good shopping.

The trip overall was very good and the guide very knowledgeable. My problem was and to be honest has been with a number of these guided trips is it doesn't take into account people with slower mobility so by the time you reach each place of significance/history you've missed their dialogue which is such a shame.

The guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. Driver gave us a nice smooth journey there and through the town. A little more time in the city would have been better, leaving at 15.15 after just a few hours felt too soon especially as had to squeeze lunch in as well.

Our TUI rep Tricia recommended the oceanographic aquarium in Valencia and it was amazing. We spoke to the guide on the bus and he dropped us a 3 minute walk away from the aquarium which was amazing as we were able to spend the whole day there. Everyone involved with this trip made it unforgettable for our family and we cannot thank them enough.

We enjoyed our day in Valencia, it is a very beautiful city. The coach does have people of multiple nationalities on board, not just British guests. The tour guide was brilliant, incredibly knowledgeable and spoke multiple languages, very helpful and gave us his telephone number should any issues occur during the trip. My only complaint is that we felt TUI could offer a trip/excursion to the City of Arts and Sciences and aquarium in addition to this trip.

In my opinion, the tour should be conducted in one language and in English, I think that for a few people, speaking the same thing in Dutch, where the Dutch speak excellent English, does not make sense and spoils the whole message. By the way, English is also my second language
