Wat te verwachten
Tijdens deze adults-only tour door het Troodosgebergte, waar eten een onmisbaar onderdeel is van de lokale cultuur, proef je het authentieke Cyprus. Je bezoekt Laneia, Agros en een ander bergdorp waar je wijn proeft. In deze dorpen aan de voet van de bergen, waar oude culturele tradities een integraal onderdeel van het dagelijks leven vormen, komen doorgaans maar weinig buitenstaanders.Vanuit Paphos begint de tocht in Laneia met een korte rondleiding door het dorp, waar je de warme Cypriotische begroeting van kopiaste - 'kom erbij' - in actie ziet in de bloemrijke, fotogenieke straten. Vervolgens ga je naar Agros om het beroemde huisgemaakte lepelgebak te proeven, gemaakt van in siroop en rozenwater geconserveerd fruit. Je ziet zelfs hoe het rozenwater wordt gemaakt in een kleine fabriek waar je ook de kans hebt om wat producten te kopen als je ervan houdt.Dan rij je noordwaarts naar het grootste van deze bergdorpen, Kyperounda, waar je aanschuift voor een typisch Cypriotische lunch in een traditionele taverna. Om dan je dag af te sluiten bij een wijnmakerij in de buurt. Hier, in het hart van het Troodosgebergte, kom je meer te weten over de kunst van het wijn maken en nip je wat van de wijn tijdens een proeverij.

Very informative, good food and portion size. Jolly guid. Was sold on the tasting in every village and a welcome in each village but didn't see many people and the food and rose place just wanted us to buy things. Wine guy did not stay with us during tasting and talk us his products. Bit flat on the winery.

Onze gids - Chris deed het geweldig. De chauffeur Pyres, inmiddels een bekende voor ons, was ook prima. De tour was geweldig en leuk. De lunch geweldig. Van het bezoek aan de wijnproeverij had ik iets meer verwacht

Both guide and driver were excellent, although the guide talked too much for our liking. The included meal was exceptional, and the winery visit was so interesting. The owner explained everything with such passion and knowledge it was a pleasure to be in his company. A very nice small tour, made easier with nice company.

The wine tasting experience was excellent. The knowledgeable owner explained the processes and showed us how the wine is stored and then allowed us to sample three of his products. The midday meal was good with generous portions in a traditional setting. We loved the small village, Lania, that we were able to walk around. However, the sweet factory visit felt somewhat uncomfortable. They were processing tomatoes not sweets. The Rose water visit was more interesting.

We’ll organise see. Tour guide was really great. Food was excellent. The only negative thing was that we were picked up 10 minutes early and were one of the last stops. This was ok for us. The guide then really see that there were 2 people short but did do anything about it. They acted like the people didn’t turn up but they shouldn’t have left as early from each stop.

Good guide lovely information about the areas we visited. As most would say not that comfortable on the mini bus it was full an myself and the others at the back of the bus were squeezed in but that was the only minor grumble

We have done an wine tasting experience with Tui before in Cyprus and it was a lot better . We stopped of in another village and had a nice meza in a small restaurant in a lovely village with shops , high up in the mountains. And the wine tasting was also better at a different winery.

Everything I have to say about this trip is positive. The selection of local enterprises we visited was excellent, the lunch was outstanding and the wine tour and tasting was just right, coming at the end of the tour. I can thoroughly recommend this engaging tour to anybody, especially as it was a small coherent group trip.

Was amazing trip enjoyed every minute and the guides knowledge was interesting to hear so much history and way of life in Cyprus . All stops were were interesting lunch was amazing and the wine was perfect. Would do the trip again next time I stay in Cyprus.

Wine tasting was not particularly good in our view. Tour of site a bit vague. Wines were only dry variety. All other visits and stops were good. Guide very well versed on the subject.

Busreis te lang voor hetgeen we maar gezien hebben. Gids veel te lang aan het woord in de bus en heel dominant. Behandelde ons allemaal als kleine kinderen. Uitleg geven op de plaats zelf is reeds voldoende.

Everything was well organized and the tour guide was very informative. Each stop was excellent . Especially the winery . The lunch was the best lunch we have had on any other trip. The walk around the village was very interesting. The experience of watching the workers make jams etc was eye opening all in all an expensive trip when purchasing but at the end of the trip . You realize that it was worth every oenny

Tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the places visited and the areas on the journey there. We had plenty of time to visit the mountain villages and sample the sweets and wine. I would highly recommend anyone to book this experience.

Foot tasting? Alleen een heel klein hapje bij het verkooppraatje. De maaltijd was wel lekker en ruim voldoende. Ook leuk om een andere omgeving van Cyprus te zien. Maar de rozen en fruit fabriekjes stelden niets voor, ging alleen maar om de verkoop. Wijnproeverij was wel interessant. Ik vond 99 euro voor deze dag te duur

Das WLan reichte nicht immer war etwas schwach , einige Engländer holten sich Essen an den Pool ..Sie selbst waren im Wasser Assen und mit Ihren Fett fingern wieder ins Wasser. Sonst alles mega .. Service Problem Kaffee Autimaten stiegen oft aus ..Topping verklebt. Sonst kann man sagen 9 von 10 Punkten .. Managerin am Empfang ist absolut Top .. fühl Dich zu Hause ,wenn nicht haben wir etwas zu Tun ! Küche .. Köche Top eine Weltreise .. Jeder ist für einen da !!

Chris the tour guide was very informative and knowledgable and very approachable. The trip was planned so that we didn’t have to spend too much time on the bus at any one time and each destination was very interesting. The driver ( Pambos ) was very good also
