Ancient history and heritage have stayed strong on Malta's scenic southwest coast. This tour takes you to a limestone quarry museum celebrating one of the island's oldest trades, plus Hagar Qim temple – a UNESCO World Heritage Site overlooking the Med. And if you've opted for the full day tour, you'll have lunch, before spending the afternoon in Marsaxlok and Ghar Damar cave – an insight as to how archaeologists proved Malta was once part of European landmass.

The guide was amazing - very friendly, knowledgeable, and she was perfect. The mixture of activities was a lot, but absolutely fascinating. The pace was fast - it wasn’t a relaxing day, but that wasn’t what we were looking for. We learned a lot, and really enjoyed ourselves. It was the perfect end to our holiday. The lunch was perfect. The only issue is that, initially, the guide had us put down as a half day rather than the full day we paid for. However, she sorted this quickly for us.

We really enjoyed this tour. Transfers all on time and stress free. It was fantastic to get an insight into the ancient history of the island at the limestone museum and Hagar Qim site.

Het kalksteen museum was interessant en leerzaam. Een duidelijk beeld van hoe men stenen maakte om de huizen te bouwen. De Hagar Qim tempel was indrukwekkend, een mooi stuk geschiedenis. Het bezoek aan de baai viel helaas in het water (veel regen op de dag). Daarna de lunch, deze was iets minder dan vorige lunchen. De grot Ghar Damar was het bezoeken waard. Ondanks de regen een mooie dag gehad

Hele prettige gids. Mooi om wat geschiedenis van het land te weten. Lunch was ook erg lekker. Een aanrader als iemand naar Malta gaat.

De bezichtigheden was zeker leuk en interessant. Echter vonden we dat er weinig tijd was om de Limestone te bezoeken. Elk bezoek van iets moest snel gaan. De gids hield ook geen rekening met ons of we al dan niet mee waren met de groep.

Goede dagtrip om het zuidwesten van Malta te zien. Maar je zou het ook zelf kunnen doen met uber trips. Marsaxlokk is echter overrated. De lunch was matig en de organisatie vrij masaal. Je krijgt meer waarvoor je geld met de kleinere trips van Tui zelf.

Freundliche und kompetente Führung., jedoch zeitraubende, nervige Organisation: Teilnehmer verschiedener Ausflüge wurden zunächst bei ihren Hotels eingesammelt und dann zu einem großen Parkplatz gebracht, wo sie den definitiven Bussen zugeteilt wurden. Nach diesem zeitraubenden Prozess war bereits über eine Stunde vergangen.
