Great

A very long day and enjoyable. First we went to a plantation trying different fruits. The wife loved the bananas ?? ?? . Then we carried on . Arrived at this village. Learning the history of these people. Then taking to a very small school to meet the children. Which was great fun . Back on the bus to go for our meal

You need to review the travel agent you are partnered with in Jamaica. This is the 2ndtrip we had book and it was not value for money at all!! It was described as a full day tour by 13:00 we were on our way back. It was stated we would have lunch at a restaurant by the sea, this was a lie it was in a local food stall in an alley way. The actual maroon tour was not a tour just someone speaking to us for about 20 mins with no actual time to look around for ourselves. POOR!! I would like a refund!!

The visit to the farm was really enjoyable..great host ..Miss Lorna…the visit to the local school was so nice ..the children were so friendly..really lovely children ..the Maroon experience was is little to heavy for us ..a long day..we were picked up at 7am and didn’t have lunch until 3pm..we were not offered any drinks from the host team ..no water or anything on board the bus ..which I think was a big mistake..because of the money I paid for the trip ..

The bus was too small so very very uncomfortable, the food was too small, I was given a kids portion, the school kids part didn't make sense, wasn't given any beverage in between the day so thank god I had my own. Too much money for what it was.

Loved the trip! Went to a fruit and vegetable farm tasted and learned about all the produce then went to a local school and then went to a maroon village and their way of life really great to visit the authenticity of Jamaica

Loved the experience, lovely staff and the tour was really informative, you will definitely return with some knowledge of the plantation and Maroon culture. Transportation was comfortable and very safe. Lunch was amazing choice of pork or chicken both 5* . Would highly recommend for an older crowd leave the kids.

I really enjoyed both parts of the tour. I wished there could have been more time spent in strawberry field and the maroon museum. The only downside of the day was the length of time it took to get to the place where we had lunch, despite its location and the lovely food it took too long to get there. This did not hamper my experience of the tour and it is definitely something that I would recommend to someone else and I would like to do the whole thing again but a little longer please…..

Nikki is een zeer aangename, enthousiaste reisleidster. Eerste stop was plantage Sun Valley, het beste onderdeel. Goede uitleg van een bevlogen eigenares. Heel leuk ook dat er kolibries te zien waren. Het museum in marrongemeenschap Charles town stelde niet veel voor maar dat werd goed gemaakt door de uitleg die we kregen. Late lunch (voorbij 15.00!) in Strawberry fields. Mooi uitzicht maar meer was het niet. Was een omweg zonder veel meerwaarde.

Only major issues I have on all the trips to jamaica is the forced stop we all have to make to the same venues . Which are usually overpriced stores, offering items all half price and it seem to be the same outlets over and over . In future ask customers whether they would like to make this stop rather than forcing it on them . Your safe enough here to go to other venues close by and support locals . Also , a shop is available at the Maroons on site selling local crafted items .

Die Tour wird nur auf deutsch angeboten!! In der sun Valleyplantage konnte der Guide deutsch , das war unser Glück . War sehr interessant,mag bek auch was angeboten zum probieren. Maroons Stadt war eigentlich nur ein Museum, nicht das was wir erwartet haben die die Leute da Leben usw. Wir besuchten keine Schule !! Man bekam nur zum Essen was zum trinken sonst den ganzen Tag nix . Das Essen war nicht aufregen nur Reis , Hähnchen und Salat ! Alles keine 150 Dollar wert. Sehr lange Fahrten

We enjoyed the plantation and the maroons village very much. The strawberry Fields together meal seemed to far off the beaten track. We would have preferred more authentically Jamaican, somewhere like scotchies where we went for lunch today and it was amazing. If you have a bad or sensitive back, I would avoid this trip.The side roads that lead to the strawberry Fields together is really uncomfortable. Keisha and Dennis our guide and driver were just amazing. They make the trip more informative.

This is an excellent trip. A chance to see the real Jamaica and learn the truth about how enslaved people fought against British and won. Getting to taste the fruits of Jamaica at source was wonderful. The guides were amazing, and Lorna at the plantation is an exceptional person.
