Tick off two holiday must-do's with this boat trip and dolphin combo. You'll set sail early on a catamaran and the adventure starts before you even reach Isla Mujeres, with a snorkel at Meco Reef. Then, after a walk around downtown Mujeres, you'll head to Isla Discovery. Here, you can take advantage of a buffet lunch, beach club and an optional bike tour. Meet the friendly dolphins, with three packages to choose from:Catamaran + Dolphin Encounter: 15-minute briefing and 40-minute dolphin encounterCatamaran + Dolphin Connection: 15-minute briefing and 30-minute dolphin swim adventureCatamaran + Dolphin Royal Connection: 15-minute briefing and 60-minute royal swim adventure, access to VIP lounge and Fantasy Snorkel

Use of cameras in the water is prohibited. Professional photos will be available for sale
Maximum number of people per group is 12 to ensure a better experience
The use of life jackets is mandatory in all water programs
For Royal Swim experience: All participants must be at least 120cm to perform the snorkel activities. Children over 140cm will be allowed to participate alone in any of our dolphin programs by paying the adult rate
To participate in the Swim Adventure or Royal Swim programs, children over 120cm up to 140cm must be accompanied by a paying adult (1 adult per child)
To participate in the Swim Adventure or Royal Swim programs, children over 100cm and up to 120cm must be accompanied by two paying adults (2 adults per child)
Dock fee of $15 USD per person payable at check-in and is not included. Children over 100cm will need to pay a dock fee
Transfers are not included, but can be arranged in resort at a cost of $15 USD per person for a round trip from Puerto Morelos and Riviera Maya
For the safety and wellbeing of the dolphins and ecosystem, please apply sunblock at least two hours before the activity, or after snorkelling
The government tax for activities involving swimming with marine animals in dolphinariums is not included. It is paid directly at check-in: 50 MXN per person
Not suitable for wheelchairs
Not suitable for expectant mothers or guests with back problems
Not suitable for guests who suffer from travel sickness
Not suitable for guests who can't swim
Children must be supervised by an adult (over 18 years) at all time

Excellent
Betere uitleg in het begin van de ste. Er werd gesproken over maximaal 12 personen. Wat werd daarmee bedoeld. Wij dachten heel de trip te gaan doen met 12 personen. Schrokken ineens van de aantal mensen op de catamaran. Dit waren er wel 50. Nú achteraf weten we dat daarmee waarschijnlijk de personen bij de dolfijnen bedoeld werd. Grandioze dag en we hadden het voor geen goud willen missen.

De gidsen hebben in het Spaans meer uitleg gegeven dan in het Engels. Bij de snorkeltrip was er niets te zien. We hadden ook een vrij grote groep, en het was moeilijk om in de stroming van de zee rustig te snorkelen. Wij hebben geen enkele vis of onderwatermuseum gezien. De dolfijnen was een leuke ervaring maar naar onze mening teveel kleine kinderen. Er was beloofd een groep van max 12 en wij waren al met 16. Foto's heel duur, 30 per koppel. Maar heb er maar 8 verschillende voor 150 USD.

The dolphin encounter was truly wonderful and a day to remember. The nightmare was arranging transfers. TUI both in the UK and Mexico seemed to have no idea what time we needed to leave and the ticket had a location but no time for when you needed to be there. After many emails and telephone calls that weren’t responded to promptly the tranfers were arranged. On the transfer home we had to wait 45 minutes for another couple on another boat(they didn’t turn up) before we could leave. Not good.
