Deze tocht langs de kust van Amalfi is echt een feestje voor de zintuigen. Je trekt in een kleine groep per bus van dorp naar dorp. En aan het einde van de kronkelige straten vang je een glimp op van de zee en laat je de schoonheid van deze wereldberoemde kustlijn op je inwerken. Je ontdekt de glamour van Positano en het uitzicht van het hooggelegen Ravello met tussendoor een lunch op een heuveltop. Francesca, een van onze deskundige lokale gidsen, zegt: "Je ervaart de Amalfikust het beste vanuit de dorpen hoog boven de zee. Hier zie je hoe deze steile bergen die bezaaid zijn met citroenboomgaarden zich in de blauwe golven beneden storten.”Het mooie van deze tour is het meer persoonlijke karakter. Eerst neem je een kijkje in Positano, waar de huizen bovenop elkaar lijken te zijn gebouwd. Dit geheel van kleurrijke huizen die zich als het ware vastklampen aan de berghelling is een van de klassieke attracties van Italië. Na een korte rondleiding heb je de tijd aan jezelf. Dan gaan we naar het heuveldorp Pontone voor een lunch in een traditioneel restaurant dat door een familie wordt gerund. Francesa voegt toe: "Pontone is een van mijn favoriete plaatsen aan de Amalfikust omdat het het oudste dorp in de regio is. En het is nog steeds zo authentiek, een relatief onbekend pareltje met een episch uitzicht.”En last but not least: in Ravello leidt een gids je rond door het dorp met zijn elegante Duomo uit de 11e eeuw en een reeks luxueuze villa's met een ongelooflijk uitzicht op de kust. More time would’ve been nice in the towns. Pontone was a waste of time was there for at most 45 minutes with a basic lunch and then went again. Didn’t stop in amalfi which would’ve been better than Pontone. Pontone was a waste of time Spent most of the time on the coach so most of the days spent being driven around, not worth the money spent.

The guide was brilliant! Very fun and super informative. Every place we visited was beautiful and we had a good amount of free time after our guied tour. The lunch provided was absolutely delicious, and with such beautiful views. I would recommend sitting on the right hand side of the coach/ mini bus as you will get better views of the coast line.

Knowledgable guide who struck the right balance between leading us absolutely everywhere and allowing us to explore on our own. Good choice of locations. Good restaurant for lunch. Good party size - not too large. Weather was a bit hot for our liking, but that is nothing to do with TUI.

Our guide was fantastic very funny and very helpful, she warned us that the road was a very narrow and could be like a rollercoaster. What she did not warn us was that the driver thought he was Lewis Hamilton speed bumps the faster the better over them so much that my wife ended up in a great deal of pain by the end of the trip. And all because it was his birthday and he wanted to get home early the trip itself was fantastic just not the best driver.

Loved being able to see multiple locations in one trip, and driving down the Amalfi coast road for sightseeing was amazing! The restaurant location in Pantone was absolutely perfect, great views and lovely staff who couldn't do more to help. Our guide, Sian, was really knowledgeable, friendly and a great laugh! We would have liked a little more time to explore each location, but appreciate the busy itinerary!

Didn't like, too fast over speed humps, sitting at the back of minibus we were thrown about quite a bit, otherwise the journey, views, commentary, food and stopping points were exceptional. We would certainly recommend this experience.

The vehicle that took us on the trip is a hazard to people's health It was a Mercedes minibus Registration number. .FB 588 RW. During the trip carbon mon- oxide was coming into the vehicle and affected 10 persons on the back 4 rows of the minibus. One lady was at one stage coughing so bad she nearly vomited. Many of the passengers were elderly and obviously with the heat due to the climate and then having carbon monoxide seeping onto the minibus was not good. Vehicle needs a safety check.

Excellent tour of the Amalfi Coast. The choice of stops was perfect. Not stopping at Amalfi meant that there was more time at Positano and Ravello. The lunch stop at Pontone was lovely. Somewhere we wouldn't have visited if we hadn't been on the tour. Ravello is absolutely beautiful and the tour of Villa Rufallo was well worth doing. Our guide, Sian, was very knowledgeable and interesting. She got us to all of the stops ahead of the crowds. Highly recommend this tour

This is a must do tour. It was a wonderful day visiting this Italian gem. From the Mama Mia road down into Positano it was gorgeous. Perhaps a little more time in Positano would have made it perfect. To sacrifice the lunch stop at Pontano and spend that extra time in Positano to realise more of this wonderful place. To be a little more present rather than trying to squeeze it in. Ravello is more relaxed, the stunning villa, incredible views, so many photos of our amazing trip. Thank you.

Beautiful stunning day .. could do with bit more time in positano to absorb the atmosphere & view but very worthwhile. So many people said the boat tour had been cancelled and missed seeing this (including ours) so we were pleased we booked the land option on our next attempt. Lunch was great with yet another breath taking view in pontoro. Ravello was lovely had time to stop and have a drink because we skipped the Villa tour .. pricey tour but worth it

This was certainly one of the highlights of our week in Sorrento. Positano was one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited and because we were there so early we almost had the place to ourselves. Lunch provided at a family restaurant in Pontone was superb accompanied by wonderful views and Ravello was very interesting.

Would suggest additional warnings regards access and steps, especially at Positano I think it could be a real issue for some that are not aware how busy and steep it can be especially with a timeframe. Spending well over 4 hours negotiating hairpin bends while only having a total of 2 hours in Positano and Ravello was a bad time/travel ratio. Also Ravello itself was very disappointing, with the plan provided difficult to follow, especially because of the sections closed. No comparison with Pompeii (even with Vesuvio closed because of the weather)

The drive around the coastline was fantastic. Our guide was OK but not as good as on other tours we went on. In Ravello it would have been better to let us have free time to explore. Overall an enjoyable day but the time on the bus makes it a very long day.

Spent a lot of time in traffic queues. Guide was not very concerned about the group, the radio dropped out a lot and we were a third down the group. The rest of the group could not hear the guide. No regular stops or checks by guide to see if everyone was together. The trip to Positano and Pantone was very busy and not a nice experience for me. Too much tourist tat. Ravello was the best place to visit and much better in the way of nice views and places and things to see.

It would have been nice to stop a couple of times for photo opportunities, and to have stopped in Almalfi itself. The meal was disappointing as the pizza was cold and limp, and the lasagne was not only vegetarian but only had a couple of layers of pasta.

Scenery was spectacular. The guide was knowledgable but sometimes walked ahead too quickly so that, if you were last to get off the minibus(we were because we were stuck on the back seat so always last to leave), you had to race to catch her up. Problem with that was that you had insufficient time to get your bearings.

We really enjoyed this amazing trip along the Amalfi Coast. Our driver, Francesco, was brilliant, given the dangers along this "Mama Mia" road. Our Guide was excellent, looking after us all the time and taking us to the interesting places and pointing out places for us to explore ourselves. It was lovely to visit Positano and Ravello and to glimpse Amalfi and the other smaller towns from our coach along the way. The lunch at Pontone was lovely, with great views from the restaurant.

Adriano, the tour guide, was excellent, he was very funny and knowledgeable about the towns and the region. The time spent at each town / location was about right, enough time to have a walk and look around and then on to the next location. The views were exceptional at all the places we visited.

This was a fantastic trip. Both driver and guide were amazing. The driver made you feel exceptionally safe whilst giving the best experience and the guide was very informative and helpful. The lunch not only was in a stunning setting but was a very tasty experience of Italian cuisine. Our favourite trip on our visit to Italy. Thank you all.
