Deze tocht langs de kust van Amalfi is echt een feestje voor de zintuigen. Je trekt in een kleine groep per bus van dorp naar dorp. En aan het einde van de kronkelige straten vang je een glimp op van de zee en laat je de schoonheid van deze wereldberoemde kustlijn op je inwerken. Je ontdekt de glamour van Positano en het uitzicht van het hooggelegen Ravello met tussendoor een lunch op een heuveltop. Francesca, een van onze deskundige lokale gidsen, zegt: "Je ervaart de Amalfikust het beste vanuit de dorpen hoog boven de zee. Hier zie je hoe deze steile bergen die bezaaid zijn met citroenboomgaarden zich in de blauwe golven beneden storten.”Het mooie van deze tour is het meer persoonlijke karakter. Eerst neem je een kijkje in Positano, waar de huizen bovenop elkaar lijken te zijn gebouwd. Dit geheel van kleurrijke huizen die zich als het ware vastklampen aan de berghelling is een van de klassieke attracties van Italië. Na een korte rondleiding heb je de tijd aan jezelf. Dan gaan we naar het heuveldorp Pontone voor een lunch in een traditioneel restaurant dat door een familie wordt gerund. Francesa voegt toe: "Pontone is een van mijn favoriete plaatsen aan de Amalfikust omdat het het oudste dorp in de regio is. En het is nog steeds zo authentiek - een relatief onbekend pareltje met een episch uitzicht.”En last but not least: in Ravello leidt een gids je rond door het dorp met zijn elegante Duomo uit de 11e eeuw en een reeks luxueuze villa's met een ongelooflijk uitzicht op de kust. Hierna kun je op je gemak het dorp zelf verder verkennen.

The tour started well and we had good stops in Positano and for lunch. The guide was very informative. After lunch we went to Village Rufalo but it was covered in cloud so that was disappointing but couldn’t be helped. On our return to the bus the itinerary was changed, for safety reasons, and we returned to Sorrento via Salerno. This took 3 hours. Towards the end of the journey the driver and the guide were arguing, the driver sounded quite aggressive. Not a good end to the trip.

This was a really good tour, however, in our case it was spoilt somewhat by the weather. I realize that this cannot be guaranteed by TUI but this is a tour that benefits from having good weather when you are at Ravello to get the proper experience of the views.

The driver and guide where great , the trip was rushed too much crammed in and no time to enjoy, by the time we got to final destination we had an hour , queued up for the fort and left without seeing it , feel a bit robbed

Overall a very nice tour, although finding myself on the back seats wasn't the best option for me as I began to be rather car sick. The highlight was Ravello as the villa views were outstanding and I'm very glad we didn't miss it.

Although we are average size people my partner felt the seats were very close together. Appreciate larger buses would be unable to run this excursion.. Lunch was fair but perhaps improve on the quality. In Ravello the public toilets are disgusting appreciate it’s not a Tu’ issue but something needs to improve. One is spending money in their town the least they can do is provide a better service even by charging. The driver and guide were so much fun and made our experience a memorable one.

The guide was excellent. The lunch stop location was excellent however the service wasn't the best as there were too few staff and two tours arrived at the same time. I was also asked to move tables to one without a view to accommodate a couple! This happens all the time when travelling solo! It's very frustrating.

Good tour guide and driver, traffic was a nightmare and wasn’t aware it took 2 hours to get back. Also would have been good to be told what the food was at the start or have 2 choices rather than everyone get the same (my wife paid for a pizza as she’s fussy) but there was no money off it and we didn’t get her lasagne plate either. We also left some sunglasses on the bus and they went walkabouts.

Overall the tour was good mainly due to the locations. The lunch was a little disappointing and the tour guide, although pleasant, I felt not very engaging. She did however give us plenty of facts about our tour, perhaps with a little more experience this may improve.

De rondreis in de Amalfi Coast is adembenemend mooi. De uitzichten zijn prachtig. We zijn natuurlijk gebonden aan onze zitplaats in de bus waardoor je pech kan hebben en je niet alles en overal evengoed kan bewonderen. De dorpjes zijn gezellig en vooral Ravello heeft ons echt bekoord. Een hele dikke proficiat aan de buschauffeur die behendig en veilig het hectische verkeer trotseerde.

This tour is a great way to explore the area and see the beautiful views from the coastal road. Positano is a gorgeous place and well worth the visit. Don’t miss the shops selling everything lemons, very reasonably priced. Lunch at the next stop was huge and tasty. Ravello is worth it for the view. Our guide was very helpful and gave us a wealth of information about the history of the Amalfi coast and its vertical communities. Our driver kept his cool and made it a safe, enjoyable journey

Our driver and guide were very professional and the trip ran very smoothly. Time in Positano was about right but another 15 minutes or so in Ravello would have been good. The lunch at Pontone was fine and the restaurant terrace was lovely. The lunch itself was fine but not great - the lasagne was a bit dry and crispy but it was fine.

A great day out, our guide was very informative about the history of the various places we visited, the meal at the restraint was lovely and very filling, would highly recommend the tour, be prepared to walk up steam hills and a lot of steps but you are able to take your time,

Unfortunately we experienced heavy rain and thunderstorms on the way, which were predicted, which obviously detracted from the view along the coast. It also rained at Ravello. We did wonder if this trip should have been cancelled? The lunch was lovely and the guide very good.

Small group, excellent driver, excellent guide. The tour delivered everything expected by us. We only wanted a taster of the area and it delivered this. A longer tour may suit those that want to explore the area in more detail but this did what it said it would do. The small local meal was just right and very tasty served efficiently and with a smile.

Really good trip. Our guide, Frederico, was excellent, with a wealth of knowledge & a good sense of humour. About the right amount of time at Positano & Ravello, which were both stunning and a nice lunch at Pontone, which catered for both gluten free & vegetarian members of the group, after prior notification with the hotel rep.

The trip was well organised to a beautiful area. However, at our ages, the walking felt a little rushed. The hotel shuttle bus was not always available as it was booked up. This is not very good as unless you pay for very expensive taxi's, you are effectively marooned. This is an issue because the hotel is quite isolated. The hotel is in a lovely situation, and very clean. The limited access to the shuttle bus should be highlighted.

I really liked the fact it was a small group, it was a lovely air condition mini bus. I really liked the fact we had ear pieces for when we were outside so we could all hear what she was saying. It was amazing to see the lovely countryside you wouldnt have seen by boat. It was very informant. The lunch was fantastic, the food was the best traditional Italian food we had with an amazing view. Would highly recommend this trip.

Enjoyable day out. The Amalfi Coast was beautiful but very busy so it took a while for the large mini bus to get between the villages. Lunch was in a local restaurant and was very good, served with a local white wine. Our guide Lily was excellent- very informative and friendly. The only downside was that there was a lot of walking - up and down steps and hills and I think that this should be clearer in the exclusion description.

A great introduction to the Amalfi coast. The drive down the coast is stunning and the guided tours of Positano and Amalfi are very informative. There is about 45minutes to an hour of free time in each town to explore. Lovely 3 course lunch in a family restaurant in Pontone. Our guide Simone was amazing. She was a mine of information and had a wonderful sense of humour.

The amount of time in each area was good. Valentino (I think that's his name) was informative and made things interesting as he spoke on a personal level of his enthusiasm for each area. He added little extra observations which was good. It may be an idea to let guests know they can expect a long time on the coach and that it may not be suitable for those who suffer from travel sickness due to the nature of the roads!

The excursion had a good timing and a knowledge staff. Unfortunately lunch, which was included in the price, was an absolute disaster. Plates were cold (slice of cold pizza and slice of cold lasagna). Apparently the restaurant oven was broken.

Well organised day, lovely to visit some different places other than the more famous spots on the coast. Ravello was particularly nice, and we enjoyed our lunch stop too at Pontone. Our guide, Valeria, was lovely and kept us well informed as we travelled. Our driver, Giovani, did an excellent job on very challenging roads! Lovely to get up high and see the panoramic views.

Positano was beautiful and worth visiting, but we needed more time there. I missed the Amalfi Coast views sitting on the wrong side of the coach, therefore photo stops would have been nice. Dinner was lovely. In Ravello, the guide left before everyone got off the coach, which was difficult for an older member of our group. We also struggled to hear her through the headphones as she was so far in front and out of reach for signal. We needed longer there, we seemed to be in a rush to get back

Pasquale our driver expertly navigated the winding roads of the beautiful Amalfi coast. The views are stunning and Federico our guide kept us well informed throughout our trip. We first visited Positano which is a vibrant hub, followed by lunch in Pontone which wasn’t very nice. We went on to Ravello and visited Villa Ruffulo. We would have liked more time in the villages as a lot of time was devoted to getting there and back. Next time we will go by boat!

Experience was very well organised, guide was fantastic , only problem was we didn’t feel we had enough time especially in Positano. We only had 45 minutes on our own which wasn’t enough time to look around and experience everything. It felt very rush. Restaurant choice was always very good. Overall a good trip.

Alex the guide and Pascal the driver were very professional, nothing to much trouble for them, me being copd and asthmatic, and had to take it slow, Alex was very curtious and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable and out of place. The lunch was lovely, 3 course with wine and water included. All in all had a fantastic day and would highly recommend

It would have been better if more time could be spent in each destination but understandably the traffic is a major factor in this for example to see something of the town we stopped for lunch rather than just taken to and from the restaurant. Also it was difficult to hear Alex, the guide, when in the minibus due to the noise of the air-conditioning so missed a lot of the info he was sharing about the areas travelled through. All in all however it was an enjoyable day.

Unfortunately could not go on the trip due to ill health . And had trouble could not cancel Rep at hotel could not help as was booked on the app . We have lost £360 on a trip we could not attend . Tui do not seemed to realise we did not attend the trip . Any help in trying to get a refund would be helpful thank you .

The tour guide Rosella was wonderful. She was very pleasant and informative. Made sure everyone was included. I found the hearing implement very helpful as my hearing is not great. The only slight issue I had was we did not have enough time in Ravello.

Overall it was a great trip !! Rosella was very knowledgeable about the area and had a lot of interesting stories and legends to tell. Her presence enhanced the experience!! She was very passionate about Italy and the area she is from and it was pleasant to hear . Lunch was pre-set but we enjoyed everything served. Amalfi is a must see and we’re glad we booked it with TUI as it was worth it !

Spectacular scenery as expected even though the weather was overcast. We originally booked a different trip as we wanted to see the Amalfi coast from the sea and spend time in Amalfi, the trip was cancelled due to the weather and this one was offered as an alternative; we felt we missed out. We enjoyed never the less and lunch in Pontone was however fabulous and we got to see some amazing places. We were last to be picked up, the back seats of the coach were not ideal

Lunch was gorgeous in pontone…..air conditioning in the coach wasn’t working properly…..the Amalfi coast is amazing and one cannot but be amazed at the vista that confronts you before your eyes……one marvels at how the residents survive from day to day because of the structure of the environment.

Excellent guide Lilly was full of knowledge & answering any questions for the trip.also made the trip not boring by keeping all of us amused by her family experience being married to a Italian.Lunch was excellent very Italian in a family run restaurant in the hills.it’s a shame that tourists coaches are not allowed to stop in Amalfi anymore

Our guide Simona was extremely knowledgeable, warm and engaging. Our driver expert on very challenging roads. I think the choice of stops was just right. After the buzz and bustle of Positano, the peaceful rest for lunch in Pontone was perfect! The view and setting were beautiful and the food and drink delicious. To end in Ravello was wonderful, utterly breathtaking. All topped off with being gently serenaded in Italian by our driver and our guide, such a treat!

Loved Positano and Ravello. Pontone was ok and added something different to the trip but not a lot there, however lunch was good and helped get you talking to others. Guide was excellent as was driver.

Brilliant tour, very happy with the experience. We arrived in Positano before it got too busy, allowing an easy stroll through, we were told about the history and shown to the beach then allowed free time to wander independently which was great. Pontone for lunch, which was good though I would have preferred to know what we were having rather than finding out as the plates arrived. Ravello beautiful. Coach driver and guide excellent, group size excellent. Definitely worth it!

Our guide was ok. It felt like a lot of driving around but our driver was great and got us around safely. We did follow advice and sat on the right side behind the guide for best views. We do not think the lunch was forth it. Location great. Wine.... don't offer it it was undrinkable. Perhaps lunch should not be included and more free time given. Places we stopped at for a wonder was lovely to experience Italy.

Really enjoyed the tour ,the guide Vince was excellent,only negative I can find was that the bus was really small I am not the tallest but struggled to fit into the seats and with being on the bus the most of the day it was really uncomfortable

The scenery was wonderful but if you are sitting on the driver side you miss an awful lot of the views which I appreciate cannot be helped but that does spoil it. It would also have been nice to stop in Amalfi. The lunch and guide were very good

Tour Guide Vincenzo was knowledgeable, charming and warm. Views on the coast road and mountains were stunning. The towns we visited were fantastic. The driver was safe but went over speed bumps too quickly at times which wasn't great for anyone with back issues. The lunch was pretty basic.

A lovely tour of the coast and our guide, Ciara, was very knowledgable. The scenery and views were very picturesque, especially where we had lunch in Pontone. Lunch was good but passage was served cold. A great tour overall!

L'hôtesse présente à l'hôtel pour la vente des excursions soit charmante, le résultat n'est pas au rendez-vous. C'est pourquoi je donne une note de 5 à cause de l'amabilité de la personne. Sûreté sécurité rien à redire Le guide est en anglais c'était bien signalé MAIS on ne précise pas que ce sera une native (une pure américaine). En soit ce n'a pas été un problème pour nous bien que nous n'ayons pas tout compris mais pour des personnes qui ne comprennent que l'anglais européen s'en sera un !

Highly recommend the tour. The guide was excellent, the lunch very authentic and lovely. A great opportunity to see many lovely places in a short period of time. Driver was very competent and felt safe.
