Deze tocht langs de kust van Amalfi is echt een feestje voor de zintuigen. Je trekt in een kleine groep per bus van dorp naar dorp. En aan het einde van de kronkelige straten vang je een glimp op van de zee en laat je de schoonheid van deze wereldberoemde kustlijn op je inwerken. Je ontdekt de glamour van Positano en het uitzicht van het hooggelegen Ravello met tussendoor een lunch op een heuveltop. Francesca, een van onze deskundige lokale gidsen, zegt: "Je ervaart de Amalfikust het beste vanuit de dorpen hoog boven de zee. Hier zie je hoe deze steile bergen die bezaaid zijn met citroenboomgaarden zich in de blauwe golven beneden storten.”Het mooie van deze tour is het meer persoonlijke karakter. Eerst neem je een kijkje in Positano, waar de huizen bovenop elkaar lijken te zijn gebouwd. Dit geheel van kleurrijke huizen die zich als het ware vastklampen aan de berghelling is een van de klassieke attracties van Italië. Na een korte rondleiding heb je de tijd aan jezelf. Dan gaan we naar het heuveldorp Pontone voor een lunch in een traditioneel restaurant dat door een familie wordt gerund. Francesa voegt toe: "Pontone is een van mijn favoriete plaatsen aan de Amalfikust omdat het het oudste dorp in de regio is. En het is nog steeds zo authentiek - een relatief onbekend pareltje met een episch uitzicht.”En last but not least: in Ravello leidt een gids je rond door het dorp met zijn elegante Duomo uit de 11e eeuw en een reeks luxueuze villa's met een ongelooflijk uitzicht op de kust. Hierna kun je op je gemak het dorp zelf verder verkennen.

Alex the guide and Pascal the driver were very professional, nothing to much trouble for them, me being copd and asthmatic, and had to take it slow, Alex was very curtious and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable and out of place. The lunch was lovely, 3 course with wine and water included. All in all had a fantastic day and would highly recommend

It would have been better if more time could be spent in each destination but understandably the traffic is a major factor in this for example to see something of the town we stopped for lunch rather than just taken to and from the restaurant. Also it was difficult to hear Alex, the guide, when in the minibus due to the noise of the air-conditioning so missed a lot of the info he was sharing about the areas travelled through. All in all however it was an enjoyable day.

The pick-up and timings were efficient, the guide was knowledgeable but very human and friendly at the same time! The destinations were beautiful, I particularly enjoyed the village lunch and quietness of Pontoni, a break from the crowds! A exceptional tour!!

Unfortunately could not go on the trip due to ill health . And had trouble could not cancel Rep at hotel could not help as was booked on the app . We have lost £360 on a trip we could not attend . Tui do not seemed to realise we did not attend the trip . Any help in trying to get a refund would be helpful thank you .

The tour guide Rosella was wonderful. She was very pleasant and informative. Made sure everyone was included. I found the hearing implement very helpful as my hearing is not great. The only slight issue I had was we did not have enough time in Ravello.

Overall it was a great trip !! Rosella was very knowledgeable about the area and had a lot of interesting stories and legends to tell. Her presence enhanced the experience!! She was very passionate about Italy and the area she is from and it was pleasant to hear . Lunch was pre-set but we enjoyed everything served. Amalfi is a must see and we’re glad we booked it with TUI as it was worth it !

Spectacular scenery as expected even though the weather was overcast. We originally booked a different trip as we wanted to see the Amalfi coast from the sea and spend time in Amalfi, the trip was cancelled due to the weather and this one was offered as an alternative; we felt we missed out. We enjoyed never the less and lunch in Pontone was however fabulous and we got to see some amazing places. We were last to be picked up, the back seats of the coach were not ideal

Lunch was gorgeous in pontone…..air conditioning in the coach wasn’t working properly…..the Amalfi coast is amazing and one cannot but be amazed at the vista that confronts you before your eyes……one marvels at how the residents survive from day to day because of the structure of the environment.

Our guide Simona was extremely knowledgeable, warm and engaging. Our driver expert on very challenging roads. I think the choice of stops was just right. After the buzz and bustle of Positano, the peaceful rest for lunch in Pontone was perfect! The view and setting were beautiful and the food and drink delicious. To end in Ravello was wonderful, utterly breathtaking. All topped off with being gently serenaded in Italian by our driver and our guide, such a treat!

Brilliant tour, very happy with the experience. We arrived in Positano before it got too busy, allowing an easy stroll through, we were told about the history and shown to the beach then allowed free time to wander independently which was great. Pontone for lunch, which was good though I would have preferred to know what we were having rather than finding out as the plates arrived. Ravello beautiful. Coach driver and guide excellent, group size excellent. Definitely worth it!

Our guide was ok. It felt like a lot of driving around but our driver was great and got us around safely. We did follow advice and sat on the right side behind the guide for best views. We do not think the lunch was forth it. Location great. Wine.... don't offer it it was undrinkable. Perhaps lunch should not be included and more free time given. Places we stopped at for a wonder was lovely to experience Italy.

Well worth going on this trip, absolutley stunning place, coach stops every half hour on way (3 stops) along the coast & the lunch was nice & in a beautiful location but the coach takes a different route through the mountains & doesn’t stop (90 mins) on way back, travel sick pills recommended

Really enjoyed the tour ,the guide Vince was excellent,only negative I can find was that the bus was really small I am not the tallest but struggled to fit into the seats and with being on the bus the most of the day it was really uncomfortable

This is an absolute gem of a tour and we could not fault anything at all Lily and our driver Osvaldo truly made sure we had a wonderful experience indeed. The timings of our visits to both Positano and Ravello for us were ideal … our preference was definitely Ravello. Lunch in Pontone was perfect we like very much the set menus on planned lunches .Please say thank you to everyone involved and our group was perfect size too

The scenery was wonderful but if you are sitting on the driver side you miss an awful lot of the views which I appreciate cannot be helped but that does spoil it. It would also have been nice to stop in Amalfi. The lunch and guide were very good

Tour Guide Vincenzo was knowledgeable, charming and warm. Views on the coast road and mountains were stunning. The towns we visited were fantastic. The driver was safe but went over speed bumps too quickly at times which wasn't great for anyone with back issues. The lunch was pretty basic.

A lovely tour of the coast and our guide, Ciara, was very knowledgable. The scenery and views were very picturesque, especially where we had lunch in Pontone. Lunch was good but passage was served cold. A great tour overall!

L'hôtesse présente à l'hôtel pour la vente des excursions soit charmante, le résultat n'est pas au rendez-vous. C'est pourquoi je donne une note de 5 à cause de l'amabilité de la personne. Sûreté sécurité rien à redire Le guide est en anglais c'était bien signalé MAIS on ne précise pas que ce sera une native (une pure américaine). En soit ce n'a pas été un problème pour nous bien que nous n'ayons pas tout compris mais pour des personnes qui ne comprennent que l'anglais européen s'en sera un !

Great day out, a little hot in the end but i guess you cant do anything about that :) Vincenzo is a star and the visit to Ravelo was out of this world, maybe a little longer in Ravelo and not so much time at Positano might've been nice. Overall, this day trip was unforgettable and i would recommend it to anyone.

The trip overall was stunning! Great opportunity to see incredible places in a whistle stop way. The guide was brilliant. The skilled and patient driver made us feel safe amongst the general madness of the roads. Lunch was very basic. Edible of course, but poor presentation. Just a bit of salad with the lasagne would give the impression of it being a 'meal' rather than just a bit of leftovers! But it's not a gourmet tour so not really a problem- just a thought. Highly recommend this trip??

Adrian was a great guide - clear directions, a bit of history mixed with humour. Mr Luigi kept us safe on the Amalfi toad. Great lunch stop. Would thoroughly recommend - although you don't get quite enough time at each place to get to see everything - so be aware of that.

Brilliant views. Superb, friendly, caring, knowledgeable guide. Lilly was excellent! The steps and slopes especially in Positano were a little daunting for us, but that had been suggested on the app when we booked. The lunch was very tasty. Just the right amount of free time in each town.

This tour would be better if lunch in Pontone was missed. This would allow more time to explore the other 2 towns. There was very little free time to explore, especially in Ravello. Would have preferred that the guided villa tour was optional as this would have allowed more time to explore.

Our tour guide Lily was lovely and very entertaining. She provided right amount of information throughout the day. The driver was careful and I felt safe as was worried about the narrow roads. Lunch was amazing. Disappointed we didnt visit Amalfi or had more photo opportunities from the road but understand why that would be difficult in tour bus.

The Amalfi tour was good , but I would not recommend if your not a good traveller, as this experience was not for me in relation to that. The bus was small and bumpy and the driver was not particularly worried about throughing us around. Having said all that, the three stops were amazing, especially Ravelo. Our guide was very informative.

Guide( Vince) and Driver (Paolo) were excellent, 2x guided walks were very informative, very tasty lunch in Pontone , Villa Ruffo was a real gem . A coffee break in Amalfi would have been nice and perhaps a more scenic return route from Ravello to Sorrento would have rounded off a lovely day out . It was good that the party size was only about 20 .

I felt that not enough time was given to Positano and Ravello. Like other reviews, I see little point in travelling to Pontone for lunch, time would have been better spent remaining in either place. Our guide was really nice, but sometimes due to a number of long pauses or Ahhhs’, it was difficult to follow the flow of the sentence. Positano was beautiful and Ravello, calm. Also guides need to remain at a central point in each village/experience, to remove anxiety of finding way back to bus.

Postiana was a bit too busy to appreciate it, might have been better to visit by boat. The lunch provided was great, lovely little restaurant and delicious food. Ravello was stunning. Great trip

On the plus side, we enjoyed great views and fantastic locations. Ravello was particularly amazing with tickets to the villa included so that we were led straight to the best of the best of views. Our guide was knowledgeable friendly and a good host. Our driver was also good and patient Seat belts on the tour bus were difficult to operate and in one case completely missing. Leg rom between my seat and the one in front was too small for me to sit and for such a long day was terrible.

On the 2 seats we were on there was no seat belt one side and the other side wasn’t working. On those bends on Amalfi coast you would certainly want a seat belt on !!

We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. The guide ( I think her name was Rosella ) was absolutely brilliant. Her local knowledge and style of delivery made for a really great day. The driver was really good . We loved the places visited and the lunch was very good. In a nice location and good food. A lot of time travelling but that is due to the amount of traffic which no one can do anything about. Would thoroughly recommend.

Being picked up from our hotel to start the guided tour. Beautiful scenery throughout the day and some fantastic photo opportunities to take. Nice stop for lunch and then onto Revello and a visit to Villa Rufolo which was my favourite. Couldn’t fault the whole experience. Highly recommended.

Amalfi coast tour was absolutely stunning the guild was very friendly and funny for a young guild he was very professional on the history off the whole tour the driver was very professional on the roads that he had to negotiate would rate this tour very highly
