Op zoek naar leuke plaatjes voor op Instagram? Zin in typisch Kroatisch eten? Dan is deze tour echt iets voor jou. Je reist langs de kust en gaat vanaf Split door de bergen naar de kustplaats Omis. Je stapt ook nog aan boord van een boot en vaart over de Cetina rivier, waar je luncht bij een lokaal restaurant.Je bekijkt het prachtige Dalmatische landschap langs de riviera van Makarska en slingert je geleidelijk een weg door de bergen naar Omis. Dan stap je op een boot voor een tocht over de Cetina. En je ziet hoe deze rivier door de diepe kloof van de hooglanden naar de groenblauwe zee stroomt.Dan ga je aan boord voor een typische lunch in een lokaal restaurant, gevolgd door wat vrije tijd om te relaxen aan de rivier. Na de boottocht terug is het tijd om Omis en zijn kleurrijke geschiedenis te verkennen. En je eindigt de dag met een wandeling naar de kerken, forten en smalle straten die vroeger door de beruchte piraten van Omis onveilig werden gemaakt.

The whole trip was relaxed and well organised. A couple of photo stops were good as was the scenery. Perfect amount of time in Omis and the boat trip was enjoyable. Lunch was really nice in an amazing setting up the river. “Tinker belle” our guide was very informative and knowledgable with a love for her country Croatia. The driver was very helpful too. A perfect day out and would highly recommend.

The guide was fantastic, very informative and funny. Views were amazing. Would have liked a longer river boat journey, although not on the boat we were on: the smell of fuel was quite nauseous.

The guide was fantastic, very friendly, professional, informative and helpful. Also very knowledgeable. Only criticism, we could have done with some more time in Omis as it was a beautiful place but it was only a half day tour. Lunch was wonderful in a stunning setting.

This trip is a little over half a day which made the value better. Coach journey through beautiful parts of Croatia with an informative and relaxed guide and brilliant driver. Had around an hour in Omiš and would have been great to maybe have 2. This would have given more time to explore and maybe have a coffee. Boat trip was good (ignoring the rain) although the boat was very exposed. Lunch was delicious and not to be missed.

Omis was a lovely place to visit, the guided tour was great very informative, would have liked an extra half an hour or so to explore the town. The only improvements for us would have been for the navigator of the boat to have not been smoking as we are none smokers and it blow in our faces, the veal was mainly fat so would have liked it to have more meat but the chicken was lovely and maybe a few less people per boat to allow for room as we were shoulder to soulder with peaple.

The whole experience was lovely. The restaurant for lunch was beautiful. It does seem strange to describe this as a half day trip when I was the final pick-up at 8.20 and the first drop off at about 4.00.

The river trip and lunch was very good. The guide was very friendly and helpful but perhaps tried to give too much information. What he could see on the left or right of the coach wasn’t obvious to those not close to the relevant window.

Wide verity of food and drinks! Cocktails were served promptly. Views were incredible. Facilities were spot on. Evening entertainment always seemed like first come first serve with getting a table. If you were late you struggled to get a seat and outside was the only entertainment they had on.

I would of liked the boat trip there and back from meal. The guide was nice but she could do with keeping quiet on way back if nothing to say, instead of talking about how to make beef soup, fig cake
