Wat te verwachten
De vulkaanlandschappen van Lanzarote komen helemaal tot hun recht in Timanfaya Nationaal Park. Dit gedeelte van het eiland is bedekt met rode pieken en kraters. Het lijkt wel of je in een sciencefictionfilm rondrijdt. En stel je voor wat een spectaculaire zonsondergang je hier hebt. Dus op deze avondtocht staat je heel wat te wachten. Voordat je naar Timanfaya gaat, stop je even bij de wijnmakerij La Geria. Lokale gids Maria zegt: “In een fascinerend decor van vulkanische wijngaarden met een episch uitzicht op de bergen kom je hier meer te weten over de unieke wijnbereidingsmethoden – je proeft zelfs een klein slokje.”Je neemt de bekende Lunar Route van het park langs de verschroeide pieken die ook bekendstaan als de Vuurbergen. En je maakt een exclusieve stop bij het uitkijkpunt Montaña Rajada, voordat je aankomt bij El Diablo. Dit ronde restaurant is gebouwd op de top van de vulkaan Islote de Hilario. De beroemde architect van Lanzarote, Cesar Manrique, heeft het ontworpen. Je mond valt open als je door de enorme ramen kijkt. De panorama's van het nationale park zijn adembenemend.Nadat je de donzige wolken en kraters op de foto hebt gezet, smul je van een sissende maaltijd die recht van de vulkanische barbecue komt, de zonsondergang en live Canarische muziek. Lanzarote Timanfaya-Tour mit BBQ: Unser Guide DANIEL war super, tolle Laune, erzählte viel über Land und Leute, sehr hilfsbereit, sehr nett. Und Mr. King (Senor Rey) ist "The Best Busdriver"! Auf der Hinfahrt kurzer Stop bei einer "Bodega" Weinanbau auf Lanzarote mit Probier- Schlückle. Im Nationalpark tolle Attraktionen gezeigt, Durchfahrt mit Reisebus - spannend!, tolle Aussichten mit wechselnden Farbenspiel und Infos, Aussteigen. BBQ sehr LECKER u. VIEL! Bei Rückfahrt singt der ganzer Bus!!!

Het was een super tocht , mooie route, goede gids, de testen die er werden uitgevoerd waren verrassend , we waanden ons echt op een andere planeet. Het eten liet wat te wensen over vandaar dat ik het een beetje te duur vind. Verder was het top en zijn we blij dat we dit gedaan hebben 👍

Der Ausflug war gut organisiert. Netter kompetente Reiseleiter mit viel Wissen. Abfahrt sollte 21 Uhr sein, im Restaurant wurden wir 20:40 Uhr mit den Worten closed, finish rausgeworfen. Das hat den Ausflug etwas verdorben.

Very disappointed, not worth the money. The food definitely was NOT cooked on the volcanic BBQ. I felt the whole thing was rushed, we couldn’t take the time to soak in and enjoy the views, very little choice in the wine tasting. Complete waste of an evening.

Overall good experience, however, expected to stop-off a few more times for photo opportunities, instead of just once at the peak. The vineyard stop also seemed a little rushed, aswell as demonstrations of the volcanoes geothermal energy.

For the second time in a week, the pick up was delayed. This time over half an hour. Our designated waiting area provided no shade and I felt quite unwell by the time the bus arrived. The guide gave excuses as to the delay, ensuring it was clear it wasn't his fault - blaming someone in the office who "was not Spanish". A very unpleasant way to start the trip. There was NO apology. This really spoilt what was otherwise an amazing experience.

Great tour and interesting to see and hear the history of the volcanoes. I do feel as if the 'illustrations' were a little rushed and I realise that they were 4 coach parties to get through but it still felt a bit rushed. The most disappointing part of the whole experience was that our pick up time was supposed to be 3:28pm but annoyingly Tui sent a message to the guide and the bus company that the pick up time was 4:28pm. The bus eventually arrived around 40-45 minutes later than planned.

This is was our 5th visit to Timanfaya but only the 2nd evening event, the last evening we did was back in the late 90s! Thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting on the way, our guide Bernado's commentary, witty and full of information, the volcano trip itself takes a different route to the day which we thoroughly enjoyed as we got the chance to step out and take some beautiful photos. Food and service in the restaurant was excellent. Highly recommend this trip.

The guide was fantastic, learned a lot about Lanzarote, was fantastic to learn about the history and see how locals have adapted to changes in the environment. Our driver was great. Dinner was fantastic and the restaurant catered really well for dietary requirements and allergies. The music performance and waiting staff were excellent. Great experience. Felt like we were on another planet at times.

The trip was excellent value for money from start to finish. The guide was very knowledgeable and the experience very interesting and hair raising at times with the bends and drops . The music added to the experience ! We really enjoyed the bbq meal and music too. All in all a great experience .

Took a while to leave Playa Blanca. We had already walked from our hotel to the pickup point at Flamingo Beach. Surely other pickup points could have been similarly concentrated. Bus with aircon was very comfortable. The wine tasting jarred a bit with the rest of the tour, although the vineyard trip was informative and it did give an opportunity to stretch the legs and use facilities. The driver and guide were both excellent. Switching between English and German was distracting.

Everything was great. The guide (David) was very knowledgeable (spoke many languages, but concentrated on English and German), and the driver (Juan) got us through the park safely. It's good that they don't let individual tourist try that.

The tour was good and a good experience we thought a bit pricey so not value for money. The wine experience is not worth including not great! The tour itself we good and interesting providing good history. The demonstrations were good and the food was average. Tour guide was good and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the experience.

Completetly underestimated how amazing this trip would he. Our guide David was absolutely brilliant amd so knowledgable and clearly had a shared interest in the volcanoes. The lunar trial was also stunning and the stop off point were just so good.

David narrated the tour giving the background of Lanzarote, the wine tasting, Timanfaya National Park history and our stops in the park. Absolutely fantastic trip the guide explained everything first we went to a winery tasted some of the wine then we moved onto were we would be having dinner (one hour later) we were given a demonstration how the volcano would erupt then onto the national park afterwards we went back for diner and entertainment the starter was tomato cheese cold slow and duds it was bbq and you got as much as you wanted and icake like a volcano but as myself and my mother are gluten free we had fruit

Das Weingut La Geria hat wohl tolle Weine, aber was absolut u gar nicht geht ist die Hygiene im Wc Bereich! Mega unsauber und stinkt 😷 !!!!!!!!!!!! Bereits zum Himmel ! Kein Ort die Bodega um sich nett aufzuhalten, in der Weinstraße gibts absolut u zu 100 💯 Prozent was besseres !!!! Den Punkt bitte ganz getrost streichen o was anderes raussuchen!!!!!!

125 EUR sind für die Tour zu teuer. Das Abendessen ist okay, aber nichts besonderes, ausser, dass es auf dem Erdwärme Grill zubereitet wird. Wenn man Eintritt Nationalpark 30 EUR rechnet und das Essen ca. 25-30 EUR, dann ist die Tour defintiv zu teuer im Verhältnis zur Zeit und Leistung. Der Nationalpark selbst ist klasse, einen Besuch wert.
