De topattracties van deze dagtrip zijn shoppen, een lunch aan de rivier en een ongerepte canyon. Ook maak je een boottocht door de canyon en heb je tijd voor een duik in het Oymapinar stuwmeer. Narin, een van onze deskundige lokale gidsen, vertelt: "Het Oymapinar stuwmeer is één van de grootste stuwmeren in Turkije en heeft een oppervlakte van ongeveer 19 vierkante kilometer. Het meer krijgt zijn water door de Manavgat rivier die vanuit het Taurusgebergte naar het zuiden stroomt en uiteindelijk uitmondt in de Middellandse Zee bij Side”.Je start je excursie met shoppen in het Dickman Textielcentrum. Als mode je ding is, dan heb je geluk: je snuffelt hier rond naar kleding en accessoires van topmerken met behulpzame winkelmedewerkers. Vervolgens ga je naar een restaurant aan de rivier waar je aanschuift voor een versbereide maaltijd met lokale producten. Vervolgens ga je aan boord voor een relaxte boottocht door de canyon. Terwijl je over de kronkelende turquoise rivier vaart kijk je je ogen uit op de spectaculaire ruige rotsformaties om je heen. Het is een prachtig stukje Turks natuurschoon en de kleur van het water is betoverend. En als de boot het Oymapinar meer bereikt, heb je de kans om in deze natuurlijke omgeving te zwemmen.

I enjoyed the whole day. I was a bit confused as to why we had to change buses at the petrol station and not bring explained as to why, but petrol it was a brilliant day. Lunch was at a lovely location and really tasty.

Top expérience mais un peu cher pour ce que c'est... plus de temps dans le bus que sur le bateau... mais la vue est à couper le souffle sur le bateau et les 15 min dans l'eau juste excellentes... Le temps pr le shopping était suffisant aussi !

This should of been a full day. The first part was rushed, having a short time in the outlet shop then being rushed to eat lunch. The cruise itself was amazing, a little disappointed that we couldn't see the waterfall. Plus we were told we could swim and there is no swimming till 15th April. However, Ege, our guide, was very knowledgeable and was friendly & polite. We would definitely recommend it.

Ege was a wonderful tour guide who was informative and, clearly knew his stuff. His knowledge of the Ottoman Empire was particularly interesting as was his knowledge of contemporary Turkey. He was friendly and polite and was helpful throughout. What I didn't enjoy as much, was the food during the Green Canyon Boat Cruise lunch stop. Sadly, as is the case at the hotel - the food was very "samey" and not particularly authentic.

Our guide was good during the coach trip. The time in the shopping centre was too short, the lunch we had gave me husband and I food poisoning (luckily our kids didn't want to eat the food) so we ended up loosing the past 2 days of our holiday. The cruise was ok no information given during it regarding the canyon and was short. Very expensive for what it was.

Bussen var 20-25 minutter forsinket, hvilket gjorde at tid til shopping blev meget kort. Mad ved spisested var kedelig, og under den standard vi har set på andre ture. Samt urene toiletforhold ved spisested. Bussen peb voldsomt fra affjedring, hvilket var ekstremt irriterende i længden.

Hallo liebes TUI Team, landschaftlich ein Traum ! Der Stausee: Wow ! Zu erwähnen wäre unser Reiseführer Kan, er hat seine Sache wirklich super gemacht und hat zumindest ein wenig Witz in den Ausflug gebracht. Der Rest ist eine einzige Massenabfertigung auf Kommerzbasis. Mittagessen durchgeschleust, Verkaufscenter wird man hin gekarrt. Die Preise (alkoholische) auf dem alte Ausflugsschiff eine einzige Frechheit, z.B. 1 Raki: 6 EUR. Der Bade stopp ein Witz. Ganz ehrlich: NICHT ZU EMPFEHLEN.

Diese Tour werden wir auf gar keinen Fall weiterempfehlen. ! Man wird 6 Std. durch die Gegend gefahren, um eine nur knapp 2stündige Bootstour zu machen Das Mittagessen war grottenschlecht, da ca. 80 Leute vor uns in der Schlange gestanden haben. Die Textilfabrik hätte garnicht sein müssen. Aus diesem Ganztagesausflug für 130 € hätte man besser einen Halbtagesausflug machen sollen. An einer Tankstelle müssten wir auch noch lange in der Sonne auf den Umsteigebus warten. Insgesamt,: MIES, TEUER

Boat tour and guide were great. Lunch venue by the river also great but the actual lunch was awful - reminded us of a school canteen meal not in a good way! A soft drink or water could have been included. I had chicken which was dry and my husband had meatballs which were so dry he couldn’t eat them.

The Green Canyon was excellent, but the add ons at the clothing warehouse and lunch were poor. Make it a half day tour, reduce the cost and it should be fine. There's too much on and off the bus in hot weather, picking up at hotels, off at the warehouse, off for the lunch. Keep it simple. The tour guide was excellent.

The Canyon was spectacular. Wonderful crew on board and breathtaking scenery. The salads at lunch were fresh, plentiful and delicious. The grilled chicken was inedible. Dry and tough. The shop at the end was an hour wasted. It was obviously a money maker for the holiday companies and the retailer. Every vehicle in the car park was a holiday company bus or minibus. We're not stupid. The wrist band allowed the till folk to pay the appropriate tour company/guide their commission. Shameful.

This was the only trip we made during our visit and we found it well organised and a really enjoyable experience. For us, the visit to the outlet store was a waste of our time but we couldn't do the green canyon trip without it. The lunch was delicious. Ideally it would have been nice to finish with something like a square of baklava. Our guide gave a good commentary and made all the arrangements clear, at each stage.

My partner and I paid £100 between us for an experience that was supposed to last 8hrs. In total, with a lot of this on the transport bus, it lasted 6hrs. The trip was interesting and the lunch decent, but in no way was this worth £50 each. We were told the day was a shortened version to do with the markets so this should of been reflected in the price. Would not recommend this trip. Can get much cheaper elsewhere but we put our trust in Tui and hoped for a full day experience.

We only got 50 mins in dickmans, this wasn’t long enough to have a good look round. Disappointed that because we paid in Turkish lira we had to pay 10% more on booking excursion, wasn’t clear before leaving that prices were mainly in euro and you pay more for paying in the local currency.

Great location, boat trip and swim in canyon. Lunch quite rushed- buffet was fine, and the location. But def not enough time to look around or swim (as advertised in the trip). Many felt that 1 hour shopping trip too much time and would have preferred time spent at the lunch stop. Or remove the shopping from day, as plenty of shops elsewhere (although TUI would miss out on commission). Guide could have given more general commentary during day to make it more interesting and value for money

It was OK the guide was really knowledgeable about the area the trip was busy when we got there 2 other coaches joined the group on the boat very busy food at restaurant was nice but again busy with other coaches so queuing for food. The shopping trip was awful unless you want knock off cheap tat the cashiers where so slow i put my stuff on the desk and walked out not my idea of a good time but if it is well you'll love it here.
