Wat te verwachten
Een hele dag varen naar de eilanden Comino en Gozo is echt de perfecte manier om een zonnige mediterrane dag op Malta door te brengen. Je vaart eerst naar Gozo, waar een shuttlebus je naar Victoria brengt, de hoofdstad van het eiland. Hier heb je wat vrije tijd om rond te kijken, door de straten te slenteren en foto's te maken. Daarna ga je weer aan boord om naar Comino te varen, de thuisbasis van de beroemde Blue Lagoon. Zijn kristalheldere water is in veel films te zien. Voordat je terugkeert naar je hotel, heb je tijd om een verfrissende duik te nemen in de Blue Lagoon of gewoon te relaxen op de boot met een ijskoud drankje in je hand.

Vanaf 19 mei 2025 heeft de regering van Malta nieuwe regels ingevoerd voor bezoekers die voet willen zetten op het eiland Comino. Het is de verantwoordelijkheid van elke bezoeker om een ticket voor toegang tot Comino te reserveren via www.blcomino.com.
Elke bezoeker mag maximaal vier tickets per tijdslot boeken en moet ALLEEN het ‘AFTERNOON SLOT' (van 13.30 tot 17.30 uur) selecteren. Dit is gratis, maar verplicht

I beskrivningen om denna utflykt stod det att en rundtur på Gozo ingick. Men bussen körde oss bara till Victoria o släppte av oss att gå runt själva i två timmar. Comino var totalt kaos. Man fick knappt plats att sitta o svårt att komma ner i vattnet. Hit ska man ta en båt med rutschkana på sidan så att man kan bada direkt från båten så man slipper trängas med en massa turister

Activiteit niet zoals omschreven. Rondrit van 2u op de bus in Gozo kregen se niet. Na 10 minuten op de bus werden we gedropt en de bus kwam ons 1u30 later terug ophalen. De blue lagoon was mooi maar we hadden er meer van verwacht´. Veel te veel volk. Terugvaart was ook niet terug naar ons startpunt (door het ´weer ´, veel wind op zee´) in Buggiba Jetty maar naar het eerste ophaalpunt in Sliema waardoor we dan nog een dik half uur op de bus moesten. Dit werd ook niet gecommuniceerd vooraf.

The rep in the hotel (not our normal rep) was not very cheerful or helpful. Used the TUI app to get to the location. Boarding and staff were fine there. Goso was lovely then went to Comino. Too over crowded. Lots of takeaway vans. Then the catamaran back was awful. 80% of people being sick. The waves were so high. Unable to go back to our port for safety but the did offer us a free bus back but as felt so sick couldn’t leave straight away so we got a private taxi. £39 each plus £20 taxi not fun

Inga guider var där. I beskrivningen stod att vi skulle åka till olika byar på Gozo. Det gjorde vi inte utan bussen gick direkt från båten till utkanten av Victoria. Sen fick vi gå runt på egen hand. Ingen AC i bussen och över 30 grader varmt.

De beschrijving van de excursie klopt niet met de werkelijkheid. We hebben geen traditionele dorpjes gezien op Gozo, maar werden gewoon in Victoria gedropt waar we anderhalf uur konden rondwandelen. Jammer, want we hadden graag het échte Gozo gezien, reden waarom we deze excursie boekten. Blue Lagoon was mooi maar véél te druk.

The boat trip to Gozo was a lovely opportunity to see Malta from the sea. The boat was well equipped with seats in the sun or shade, also had a bar and toilets. Friendly, helpful crew. We only saw the town of Victoria on Gozo, so we just had time to get some lunch, then had to head back for the boat to Comino. Comino was very busy, with very uneven ground, steps and rocks to negotiate - however it is stunningly beautiful, so worth a visit if you are able.

The joining instructions I was sent with my voucher were incorrect. Rather than being given a tour of Gozo, we were simply driven to the capital and left there for two hours before the coach returned to the ferry. I paid an extra €15 to go and see the caves, but this was a very cursory trip, and only lasted about 20 minutes. Rather than swimming off the back of the boat in the blue lagoon, we had to disembark on Camino and we left there for two hours while the ferry went off on another trip.

Ruim op voorhand geboekt voor zat.22/03.Vr.namiddag ter plaatse gehoord dat 22/03 geen boten zouden uitvaren door ruwe zee. Alle agenten hadden daarover 20/03 een mail gehad. Met Tui Musement België gebeld en gemaild. Die namen contact met hun agent in Malta maar niemand van Tui kon de annulatie bevestigen. We konden niet annuleren of verzetten. Moesten dus naar de haven gaan om te horen dat de boot niet vertrok. Maandag annulatiebericht ontvangen van Tui. Wat is hier de meerwaarde van TUI?

El precio por lo que implica la excursión me pareció excesivo. 1- Te llevan hasta Gozo en barco 2- En Gozo te suben a ver la catedral en bus siempre y cuando pagues 5€ más, si no buscate la vida. No te enseñan nada más es solo subir y bajar con 2h libres. 3- Te llevan a Comino ( blue lagoon) que está ultra masificado de gente... No es playa es todo rocoso 4- Vuelta al puerto

We waren heel enthousiast om de 2 eilanden te bezoeken. Allereerst was de keuze uit de dagen nogal mager, wat soms lastig is als je kort ter plaatse bent. Er was geen gids, we werden random bij gebouwen gedropt en losgelaten. Gozo is leuk, maar wel leuk als er ook een gids aanwezig is. Datzelfde geldt voor Comino. Jammer dat het uitje naar de Blue Lagoon betekent dat je met half Malfa op een kluitje bij een klein stukje strand zit. Voor ouderen en mensen met kinderen niet te doen. Jammer.

Ausgangspunkt ist Hafen Sliema. Schöne und gemütlich Überführung nach Gozo. Etwas chaotisch die Verteilung auf dies Busse. Schnelle Hinfahrt zur Basilika und anschliessend nach Victoria mit Aufenthalt. Zurück zum Hafen und Überführung nach Insel Comino zur Blue Lagoon. Völlig überlaufen, Snacks & Drinks, kein Schatten und Sonnenschirm konnte auf dem Boot gekauft werden. Lohnt sich nicht! Rückfahrt nach Sliema.

Veneretki on väärä kuvaus retkelle. Veneellä siirryttiin vain paikasta toiseen. Hienoa oli nähdä eri saari. Kuskeilla hirveä kiire ja venettä sai sitten varttua satamassa melkein tunnin. Blue lagoon huonosti suuniteltu. Ei mahdollisuutta olla omalla pyyhkeellä rannalla. Piti maksaa kalliit tuolit ja varjot parin tunnin takia. Retki ei sovellu ollenkaa liikuntarajoitteisille,eikä vanhuksille. Veneen aikataulut ei pitänyt paikkaansa.

The ‘panoramic’ tour was to the National Shrine for 10 mins then dumped into the Capital for 2 hours! The mini bus was old, no A/C, seatbelts didn’t work, and the wipers kept coming on for no reason. Extremely disappointing. We saw virtually nothing of the island.The description also didn’t explain that we had to climb over the rocks at Gozo, not that easy for 70 year olds’. You usually describe each trip as easy, moderate etc, not here. Better descriptions please.

The trip Was amazing overall, however when we got to Gozo getting off the boat was very confusing. We had a panoramic bus tour included so as we headed to the bus there was people shouting at us to get on old mini busses. We got on one then realised it wasn’t the right bus so when we got off a man came screaming at us to get back on, he tried to grab my partners arm, he pushed his hand away so the man slapped my partners hand and told us to F off and not to come back. Very confusing for elderly

Everything was ok until we embarked on our sightseeing tour of Gozo. The minibus was old and no air conditioning. The driver was uncommunicative and drove somewhat recklessly. I wouldn’t recommend that part of the tour

This trip is really good value I thought, the boat used was a very swish Catamaran (I see Malta) with bar etc. Plenty of time in Gozo and the Blue Lagoon. The only little niggle was that the 'panoramic bus tour' was a minibus driven by an efficient but very silent driver. Would be good to have some commentary or use the I see Malta open top bus tour instead. Worth doing though for sure.

Vervoer heenreis: prima Deel 1: van de trip op Goze met rondtrip helemaal goed uitstappen met highlights ed. Deel 2: Comino...... van 14.00 tot 18.45 (incl. Terugreis) 2,5 uur op het eiland...niet iets voor ons. Platte boel, op een zandrots, harde muziek, stapels annanas. De tijdsspanne moet TUI duidelijker aangeven. Deel 2 is wellicht leuk voor jeugd. Met z'n allen hutje, mutje op het eiland dwalen op de rotsen is niet echt iets voor gezinnen of ouderen. Daarna een lange terugreis met 2 tussenstops en een verlaat vetrek....maakten deel 2 van de trip dat we deze dag niets ons als "fijn zullen herinneren". Gelukkig hebben we nog de herinnering van een zelfde trip van 15 jaar geleden toen we met Arke op reis waren (heden ook TUI).

De geboekte excursie was anders dan verwacht. Er was geen enkele begeleiding of informatie.
De boot bleek een hop on hop off boot. De tijd om Gozo was korter als in de beschrijving. We bezochten een pelgimskerk en werden toen in Victoria gedropt.
